Normally always been a good place but did an online order tonight, got a rice bowl and it didn't even have rice in it ‍ disappointed

When you first enter this place you feel the chill ambiance and all the workers are so nice and friendly. The drinks were great, we had a variety of matcha, milk, and smoothie drinks with different jelly, boba popping, and tapioca boba in them. All of them were very good. If we hadn't just ate, we would've also tried the ramen bowls because they smelled and looked delicious. We will definitely be coming back when we pass through again! read more

Order brown sugar bubble tea and it taste like pure milk sugar. Didn't taste like any black tea it. Bubble tea supposed to taste like tea with flavor not just milk and sugar. Don't recommend this place at all. read more

The boba is always delicious! I've ordered every green tea and I cannot pick a favorite since they're all so good! I've also tried the strawberry milk tea and the matcha, and they're good as well! The drinks always come out quickly as well, I've never had to wait long. The shop is so cute with tons of seating! read more

Been visited this place for a couple times, tried their milk tea and protein bowl. Love their Milk Green and the Yogurt Boba which is soooo good!! and they got some nice vibe in the store! Great services and perfect environment to hang out with friends! The only problem is I can find their location in the Google map. They fit in your mouth, chewy, multiple flavors to choose from, so perfect for the ball lovers who prefers a little variety. this place is expensive, and took 15 minutes to get our food out, but it was worth it. fresh, high quality ingredients and virtually no competition in town. I am someone who has to put salt and Sriracha on everything for flavor, and I did not need to do that here. it was extremely flavorful and plenty of spice. Unfortunately the menu is confusing, they should have printed versions of the entire menu on them, with all ingredients listed. (some ramen dishes come with different types of noodles, etc) card games, Jenga, etc available to play while you wait. they have nice decor, great lighting and greenery, just wish the booths had cushions on them! I will be back to try more of their extensive menu. don't be fooled by the paper one- there's a ton more stuff! read more

It was pretty disappointing. I went with a group so I got to try a lot of things. The sushi burrito was bad for what you'd expect from restaurant sushi quality and was more like grocery store sushi. Poke bowl was alright but the fish quality was still poor and they didn't give you very much protein compared to the other ingredients in either. Ramen was good, got the Tonkotsu and the broth was savory with tender pork belly. Tried a bit of the tomato broth ramen and it was just okay. The bubble tea was decent, but their boba didn't have enough sweetness so it was just chewy and flavorless. The service is good and quick though, but the food is overpriced for what you are getting. I almost gave them three stars, but I think this barely misses the mark. I don't think I would come back but if I did I would get the ramen and stay away from the sushi/poke bowl options. read more

I would give Taichi Bubble Tea a 3.5 stars: 3 Stars because the quality and quantity of the ingredients for the poke bowl was not comparable to other poke bowls I have tried. I had the 3 proteins (aka 3 scoops) for my bowl and the amount that they gave me was not enough. I had to dig through my bowl to find the protein.... In addition, once I did get to my salmon (2 scoops) and spicy salmon (1 scoop), the fish did not taste fresh. 4 stars because the ambience was decent and the bubble tea is comparable to other places (the taro milk tea with lychee fruit jellies is pretty yummy!) Overall: 3.5 stars. I do not think I will be returning unless I am craving for some bubble tea (it is one of two places where you can get bubble tea in Mount Pleasant, MI) read more

Good ramen within 30 miles of Midland? Absolutely! It's name Taichi Bubble Tea does not even tell the whole story. This place just opened near the Central Michigan University campus with college students as it's captive market. They serve different ramen base with your choice of protein, poke bowls, burritos, bubble tea, and mochi. Check them out. A 20% discount during the grand opening makes it a no brainer. read more

I was surprised to hear someone wanted to open Taichi Bubble Tea in Mount Pleasant of all places. They also have locations in the Buffalo & Rochester, NY areas. It's the best of what Mt Pleasant has to offer. I had the Tonkotsu ramen and a mango milk tea with tapioca pearls. The ramen broth was great, but the noodles were not good. The mango milk tea tasted like they used powder (yuck), but again it's the best of what available in the area. Next time I will try their fruity tea drinks. For legit good bubble tea, the nearest shop is Kung Fu Tea in East Lansing. read more

This is a pretty new place in Mount Pleasant so my girlfriend and I decided to try it for the first time. Honestly it's not too bad, but a little overpriced for the food in my opinion. I got the Sushi Burrito (8.99) which was pretty decent. I also really liked the fact that there is a little check/order list you turn in to the counter to customize your own sushi. The flavor was good but I would say it would be on par with Meijer sushi... nothing super special. My girlfriend got the Miso Ramen Bowl with tofu (11.99) and it was a little underwhelming. The tofu wasn't seasoned in any way, giving it a bland flavorless taste and the rest of the dish was average at best. Overall not a bad place to eat, and it is the only ramen place in the area. It's somewhere I'll come again only if I'm really craving the delicious sweet chili sauce that came with my sushi. read more

Taro tea was good, but the bubbles were a little too soft for my taste. The sushi burrito was also tasty, but a little small for the full price in my opinion. Overall, it was nice. I'd like to try the ramen later. read more
