Got a "flurry" and all it was was ice cream with gross cookie doughy thrown on top. They were nice but the service was slow.

For the drive thru safari, they have a variety of animals, from Alpacas to bears to camels to giraffes. You can purchase a bucket of feed for $9, but make sure you hold on to the bucket tight, because all of the animals are super strong! We ended up losing one of our buckets to the deer, haha! In the main farm area, they have some really cool play structures and tunnels that go underground and above ground. The kids had a blast crawling all over the place. Our favorites were the bird exhibit and the bear exhibit. The birds are not afraid of humans and will flock to you as soon as you enter their area. Im the bear section, we got to see the two brown bear brothers wrestle and "fight" over who got to sit in the pool. The brown bears were very interactive and would run with the children along the fence, back and forth. The biggest hit for our kids was the corn kernel area. It's essentially a giant pit filled with dried corn kernels. Our kids played in there for a good hour and didn't want to leave! It's also a great place to relax and cool down out of the heat. They have a bunch of animals that you can pet and hold if interested. For us, the safari was a great one time experience and likely wouldn't be something that we would drive through again, but the main play area is where we will definitely be going back to time and time again!

We were very disappointed with the food quality. My pretzel sandwich came out dripping wet and when…read moreI told the staff person (after she asked) she was not cordial about it stating that it was the pickled onions. Instead of taking the sandwich back to the kitchen and fixing the issue she offered me something else. The restaurant was not busy (3 tables of guests) and the staff person didn't bother letting us know what the specials were but offered them right away to a customer that seemed to be a regular. The store seems to be pushing a lot of items and signs that were made in China. They also seem to be pushing a lot of religious themed items which can turn a lot of people away. I am a worshipper however felt uncomfortable seeing religious items that looked cheap. I will not be back after this experience and encourage other to think twice about eating at this restaurant.

I have enjoyed stopping in to Loafers Glory when I have visited over the years. They were closed…read morefor a few years and recently reopened. I went with some family and we enjoyed browsing the store. They have a lot of farm and country decor as well as some neat Michigan items. We decided to stop at the tea room about 3pm. 3 of us ordered hot tea and this is where things went downhill. We were brought cups with no saucers and one tiny pot of hot water for the 3 of us. One pot wasn't even enough for all of us. We had to ask a couple of times for another pot of hot water. They brought a bigger pot of water that was sufficient. We didn't know what to do with our tea bags with no saucers so we just put them on the tea bag paper. I ordered a side salad since I just wanted something small. Two of our party ordered ice cream and one ordered the chicken dumpling soup. My salad was very good and fresh and I recommend the mango vinaigrette which was very good. The soup looked good. Someone got the Michigan pothole ice cream and really liked it. Overall good experience, they just need to work out a few kinks with the tea room. I know they just recently reopened so that is probably why. It is definitely worth a stop and their baked goodhs look delicious too. They are apparently well known for their buttermilk pie. Be sure to stop in and loaf for an enjoyable afternoon if you are in the area!
