food always great i go there 2-3 times a week. Their customer service is always so kind and helpful. I've recommended this place to all of my friends and coworkers 5/5 stars the best restaurant/ boba in Michigan if you are looking for a fast, heathy, and delicious meal. read more

Wow. I am impressed. The mixture of flavors and the quality of the food. You won't go wrong! And you can customize it any way you like. The seating and tables are cheerful and very comfortable. Bright and cheerful place and Ashley behind counter was exceptional, as it was my first time and I had no idea what to order!! Please please consider opening up a place in Ohio and Colorado!! read more

Good amount of food for the price. Very nice staff to help you make the sushi bowl. 10/10 Will eat here again. The large was enough for two meals for me. read more

Was happy to find this place steps from my hotel while in town for work. Good flavors, and definitely not overpriced! Only feedback is that I prefer my avocado sliced rather than mashed, and the tuna texture was a little off - but I think that's probably a general risk you take at a poke place. I will definitely visit sushi remix in the future. read more

Damn. This place is GOOD. fresh ingredients. I had the shrimp and imitation crab which was very good texture and flavor. Great concept. I was visiting but now will have to come back to eat here again. read more

I went in there today the lady was rude about there store not opening and she was like "our store isn't open" the terrible place I have ever went to and don't plan on coming back here read more

Fantastic food and service. Never had bowl before - it was great. I will be back! I had the California style bowl. My friend had a make your own way bowl and bubble tea. It was a treat for both of us! read more

Today treated my 82 old mom to Remix, she really enjoyed the flavor and atmosphere. Service was great

If I could do negative 10 stars, I would. There was so much cloying sauce in this dish that I couldn't taste the wilted cucumber, the stringy imitation crab, or the rubbery tofu - much less the sushi rice. It's like someone explained sushi and poke bowls to them through the telephone game. I suppose this technically qualifies, but covering up low quality ingredients with waaaaay too much sauce does not make a successful restaurant. Go for the bubble tea, if you're into sugary koolaid with boba, but do your tastebuds a favor and order the sauce on the side - but only if you are starving and there is literally nowhere else to go. read more

My wife and I tried Sushi Remix not long ago and weren't impressed. First off the portion size was small for the price and the taste wasn't that good. We won't be going back. read more

Love this place!!!!! Only place to get poke in the area and it's one of my favorites of all the poke places I've tried. The protein/toppings/sauce options are great and you get a big portion at a decent price (yes, it's pricey but for poke it's not bad!). The staff is usually great as well, friendly and personable. I visit as often as possible! read more

I had the signature remix poke bowl while my son had the volcano. I thought mine was very good. My son said his was average because of the warm rice at the bottom (although that is the traditional way to serve in poke bowls). I ate the rest of his later after it was refrigerated and enjoyed the flavors even more than my original bowl. I think we were just both used to the cool temperature of the rice in traditional sushi. The bubble tea was excellent and creative although a bit on the pricy side. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean, modern environment. Low top table seating with lots of natural light. It was a nice change from customary sushi and I would return. read more

Was my first time here food was excellent and service was amazing, definitely plan on coming back.

It's ok. The bubble tea options are enormous but they are almost always out of most of the flavors. Bowls are big and not bad but for the price I'd drive to Maru in midland and get amazing sushi for a little more. read more

Great weird sushi bowls and burritos Great almost fresh seafood or tofu, and sauces, with wasabi, ginger, poke sauce etc Quick service at the counter, and great outdoor seating on the Saginaw river Last time here they screwed up my order, but was still delicious... read more

Let's start off this review by saying if you love to eat sushi rolls, you are going go love Sushi Remix. I can eat a lot of sushi so I ordered the 24oz and created my own personalized bowl with flavors I enjoy. I got the sauce and seaweed on the side and added a vanilla creamsicle bubble tea as my drink of choice. The two ladies that work there were friendly, funny and attentive the entire visit. I would highly recommend you go here to satisfy your next sushi craving. read more

Sushi Remix - Sushi Bars Near Me - Bay City, Michigan

I'm glad I've found out about this place because it's one of my favorite thing to get back home in California. Like the other review have mentioned, the price is a bit high for me too and also, I wish there are other types of drinks available too. But other than that, I like coming on this location since it's open much later, a great view nearby which I parked sometimes to eat my bowl in the car along with my drink. The sauce is amazing which complete the whole thing! read more

When I first heard of this place I was skeptical! Walk in the front door and was greeted kindly, Stated I was a newbie and the gave me a great recommendation and every chance I get from that point on I make it a point to go there when ever I'm in Bay City read more

Ugh! We became familiar with sushi remix from their food truck. We ordered two burritos. After we waited 30 minutes for our food, we had to bring it back because the rice was hard as a rock. They said they ran out. How do you serve uncooked rice and then say you ran out? They offered to replace the burritos with a bowl. We took the offer. They served us the same rice! Hard as a rock. Today we ordered through Grubhub. Massive fail. Ordered for our family of four and we got one meal. When we called back they apologize stating it was a communication problem. It's more than a communication problem. We won't be back. read more

My friend recommended this new gem and I am so glad I went there. I love supporting local especially during this pandemic. I would totally recommend one of the favorite (pre-made) bowls, a bubble tea, and even a cookie (if you have room). The staff is also so friendly and welcoming especially for it being my first time there. read more

Best place to get a poke bowl and boba drinks! This will be my go to place might be 30 minutes away but I'm usually at bay city a lot every week. read more

The experience at Sushi Remix starts at the front door. The aesthetic of the restaurant is very modern, clean and beautiful. You can sit in the common area and enjoy the river and all the scenery while eating your meal. The lady who takes your order is by far the most kind person I have ever wait on me. Even though we're all wearing masks, you can feel the smile on her face what an excellent representative of kindness and a great front line person for this restaurant. Now for the food... Their most expensive meal is under $15 and it feeds my family for dinner and then lunch the following day. You get two meals for the price of one. The food is fresh, it taste wonderful and the portions are amazing. This is a wonderful place to visit and the experience is as good as the food! read more

Exceeded my expectations. All the ingredients were so fresh. I took their recommendation and added pineapple which took my bowl over the edge. Must try. read more

Was disgusted with this place considering the high reviews it had. Went in, atmosphere is what it said it was. However, the guy making my sushi burrito looked like he barely knew what was going on, BUT his hygiene was utterly disgusting. He didn't wash his hands between customers or change his gloves then kept wiping his nose and then touching different surfaces and then making my burrito. Paid for my burrito but couldn't even eat it because I was so grossed out. read more

This is a awesome concept. This takes me home to the California experience!! Its a scaleable business with high quality food, hip vibe, and most friendly employees!! Japanese/Hawaii fusion! It truly is a awesome experience. These type places are everywhere on west coast, but its execution is almost spot on. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars are the lack of soft drink options, and the price. The food is stellar, price is high for michigan. But i would come here once a week. If price is $2 dollars less i would come 5 days a week instead of 1. Still worth it!! read more

This place for poke style food is fantastic the only reason I docked a star is because it really is based upon the employee that serves you, some like to really cram it and make sure it's sauced up while others definitely skimp like the boss is watching read more

It's good food, fresh food, Instagramable, and a great atmosphere!!!! I love it !!!!!

Absolutely wonderful! Fresh! Some great recipes, and the service is top notch! We've visited three times and each time I couldn't have asked for anything better. I have tried the remix bowl and the californiacation bowl. Both are Amazing! They have so many different bubble tea and boba flavors. The prices are fair for the product they serve. Each time we have visited there has been one woman working who puts the sprinkle on the sundae! She gives great service and has a refreshing personality. They also have a loyalty program! We will continue to visit often! read more

Sushi Remix - Bubble teas and the remix bowl - Sushi Bars Near Me - Bay City, Michigan

Omg, love this place! There are so many options, and all are so delicious! I will however say, I consider myself a decent eater, and these bowls are HUGE! My first visit I got a little excited and got the large. It was an insane amount of food. After that I have gotten the small, which I still cannot finish, and I don't think these would be good to eat again later if you get the raw fish. It should be noted, I always get all rice. If you get the mixed greens it would likely be more doable. The bubble tea was awesome as well. It's not something I would drink on a regular, but it is fun and interesting. If you go during happy hour you get a free bubble tea with poke bowl purchase. read more

So gosh darn fresh and delicious!! Thank you for never disappointing!!! Large portions and friendly staff!!

One of the most unique and innovative restaurants I have ever been to. The food is delicious and fresh, with all of the flavors of my favorite food in the world: sushi! They created styles of "sushi" I've never seen before such as their Poke Bowls and their Nori and Soy Sushi Burritos. I love walking into this atmosphere and seeing the employees who are such amazing people. They owners are just as wonderful and I'm so proud of what they've brought to our community! read more
