Was happy to find this place steps from my hotel while in town for work. Good flavors, and definitely not overpriced! Only feedback is that I prefer my avocado sliced rather than mashed, and the tuna texture was a little off - but I think that's probably a general risk you take at a poke place. If I could do negative 10 stars, I would. There was so much cloying sauce in this dish that I couldn't taste the wilted cucumber, the stringy imitation crab, or the rubbery tofu - much less the sushi rice. It's like someone explained sushi and poke bowls to them through the telephone game. I suppose this technically qualifies, but covering up low quality ingredients with waaaaay too much sauce does not make a successful restaurant. Go for the bubble tea, if you're into sugary koolaid with boba, but do your tastebuds a favor and order the sauce on the side - but only if you are starving and there is literally nowhere else to go. read more

Love this place!!!!! Only place to get poke in the area and it's one of my favorites of all the poke places I've tried. The protein/toppings/sauce options are great and you get a big portion at a decent price (yes, it's pricey but for poke it's not bad!). The staff is usually great as well, friendly and personable. I had the signature remix poke bowl while my son had the volcano. I thought mine was very good. My son said his was average because of the warm rice at the bottom (although that is the traditional way to serve in poke bowls). I ate the rest of his later after it was refrigerated and enjoyed the flavors even more than my original bowl. I think we were just both used to the cool temperature of the rice in traditional sushi. The bubble tea was excellent and creative although a bit on the pricy side. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean, modern environment. Low top table seating with lots of natural light. I can eat a lot of sushi so I ordered the 24oz and created my own personalized bowl with flavors I enjoy. I got the sauce and seaweed on the side and added a vanilla creamsicle bubble tea as my drink of choice. The two ladies that work there were friendly, funny and attentive the entire visit. Ugh! We became familiar with sushi remix from their food truck. We ordered two burritos. After we waited 30 minutes for our food, we had to bring it back because the rice was hard as a rock. They said they ran out. How do you serve uncooked rice and then say you ran out? They offered to replace the burritos with a bowl. We took the offer. They served us the same rice! Hard as a rock. Today we ordered through Grubhub. Massive fail. Ordered for our family of four and we got one meal. When we called back they apologize stating it was a communication problem. The experience at Sushi Remix starts at the front door. The aesthetic of the restaurant is very modern, clean and beautiful. You can sit in the common area and enjoy the river and all the scenery while eating your meal. The lady who takes your order is by far the most kind person I have ever wait on me. Even though we're all wearing masks, you can feel the smile on her face what an excellent representative of kindness and a great front line person for this restaurant. Now for the food... Their most expensive meal is under $15 and it feeds my family for dinner and then lunch the following day. You get two meals for the price of one. However, the guy making my sushi burrito looked like he barely knew what was going on, BUT his hygiene was utterly disgusting. Omg, love this place! There are so many options, and all are so delicious! I will however say, I consider myself a decent eater, and these bowls are HUGE! My first visit I got a little excited and got the large. It was an insane amount of food. After that I have gotten the small, which I still cannot finish, and I don't think these would be good to eat again later if you get the raw fish. It should be noted, I always get all rice. If you get the mixed greens it would likely be more doable. The bubble tea was awesome as well. It's not something I would drink on a regular, but it is fun and interesting.
