I'm not the biggest fan of cake cupcakes Donuts pie..etc..if I'm going to eat the calories I want it to be like in chip form or burger form or something like that...well there was a birthday at my work and they got a delivery of cupcakes from gourmet cupcake shoppe they offered me my pick of two different kinds. at first I said no thank you but they weren't having it and they told me to pick two and take them home to my daughter, if anything. so I chose a strawberry one for my daughter and a Oreo one for myself. Well it was over after that my daughter definitely did not receive her strawberry cupcake because I ate it! it was like a piece of Heaven! Like I said I don't really like sweets but these are so good I could eat this and only this til the day I die.

I have tried several other flavors since my first experience, and only one did not wow me...the pineapple upside down cake just didn't have any pineapple flavor to me. My expectations that were set high after the first experience were let down with this blah cupcake. I do recommend the red velvet, peanut butter chocolate, and lemon drop.

Yelp gave us the location and I'm so glad we found it! Don't miss it, it's on the ground level of a hotel. The server was very friendly and when I mentioned we had been at the Pioneer Sugar factory the day before, she gave us an insight into the tour she had taken at the factory. We had the Uptown Funk and Dairy Farmers Delight. The custard, caramel and dulce combo tasted so "clean", I can't think of a better word for ice cream that tastes like it was made with the fewest ingredients. Cream, eggs, sugar and the mixins. I wish we lived closer, but the directions have been saved in Waze!

From what we could see, it was clean. SERVER: The young blonde girl at the counter didn't say anything to us when we came in and only spoke when we would ask a question (and she was very short/one word answer). Customer service was not her strong suit. We almost walked out due to her not acknowledging us. FOOD: we ordered a six pack of cookies Flavors ordered: chocolate chunk, M&M's, red velvet, banana pudding, mocha, pb oreo something. Taste: we were excited for these cookies due to the reviews and sadly it fell short for us. They were just Meh, no real flavor difference between the varieties, and they had an odd "cake" texture. Flavors all very bland (even with all the mix ins), there was no richness or depth. Size: they are jumbo cookies, so good for sharing! Price: $3.00/each (I believe that was the cost) OVERALL THOUGHTS: Server was not very customer service forward. Cookies were Meh (had way better). Price is good. WOULD I RETURN? No, we would not drive 3 hours again to return. Even if we were in the area not sure we would come back for seconds.

I ordered the pork belly bbq and being that I have enjoyed a lot of pork belly dishes in CA, I was really excited to try it out here! However, once I got it...the mashed potatoes were really bland, it look like a baked potato was just smashed on the plate. No seasoning or butter. The pork belly looked like it came out of an air fryer, and while it was cooked nicely, it was not worth over $20.00. My husband and daughter's food looked decent, but was not seasoned very well. The servers who helped us didn't seem to communicate because there was a mix up and they had forgotten my daughter's meal. She just sat here for 15-20 minutes after we got our food. On a good note- the restaurant is really pretty to dine in and I love the wide open space with natural light coming through.
