Ordered an iced latte with oat milk and sugar free flavor and a hot oat milk latte. Both tasted horrible. The lowest quality oat milk and flavors are used. The espresso was not brewed fresh and nothing was measured. They just pumped tons of times for the drinks and it tasted horrible. read more

I don't usually stop to buy specialty coffee however, I did yesterday. Went through the drive through. The menu was easy to read and understand. Drove up to the window, placed my order. The cashier was very friendly and welcoming. She made my drink perfectly. Only thing I'd recommend changing, is the seasonal specialty drinks advertisement was difficult to see. I didn't notice it until after I had ordered and paid for my drink. Would have been nice to have seen that at the first menu rather than at/after the window. Will be returning again. read more

Coffee was okay but their hours are listed on in Apple Maps as closing at 8pm and they closed at 6pm. Be forewarned to not waste your time driving out there if you planned on staying until 8! read more

Great coffee and amazing service. The inside is very welcoming and the WiFi is faster than my Verizon cell service lol. Very clean as well. The "baristas" there take pride in what they do. What an absole divine atmosphere this place held. The Vanilla Latte not only tasted better than anticipated, it brought my sense of awareness to a new level and left no residual bad taste in my mouth. I typically visit once a week for a large ice tea but today is my last visit. Probably at least 3 times in the last few months the tea is so weak I am basically paying for water. One time the man noticed and gave me a coupon for a free tea. Today I had asked the girl if it was black tea because it was so weak I thought she may have given me the green, she said yes and I commented to her it was very weak and she simply walked away. I will head across town to Tim Hortons now, pay 60 cents less and get tea, rather than pay for water. Sorry I tried to stay local but you need to get consistent. read more

Chaos Coffee has been the winner of my search to find good coffee in Midland. The store is comfortable, bright, has a drive thru, and is conveniently located between the northside hotels and downtown Midland (the corner of Wackerly and Jefferson). The baristas are friendly and very patient, and they easily accommodate my crazy order that I have every day. It has reached the point of me walking into the store each morning and they immediately start brewing the espresso for me, only having to ask "Half-caf or full?" The espresso is GOOD, too. It's not bitter and acidic (like Starbucks), not watery (like Bigby and Espresso Milano), and it just tastes good. Even after the drink has cooled to room temperature, I am still happy to drink it, glad that it doesn't take on a weird aftertaste. They also serve a variety of syrup flavors for blended coffees and a few smoothies. There is a pastry case full of muffins/cookies/bagels/desserts, but those honestly do not look that fresh. Sorry, but I question how long those items have been sitting in the case. So skip the bagel, but definitely get the coffee!!! Besides great taste, this café also fits my search criteria of using paper cups (woohoo, no carcinogenic Styrofoam), and being inexpensive. Per volume of my same beverage order here versus Starbucks, Chaos Coffee is cheaper. Cheaper, closer, friendlier, less crowded, and much better tasting - Chaos Coffee is my favorite café in Midland. read more
