The bread is not soggy and there is a balance of corned beef, sauerkraut, cheese and sauce. I ate three of them there during the Frankenmuth Oktoberfest and I was pleased with all them. I highly recommend you give them a try. If you want an alcoholic beverage, you can take your food into the adjacent bar and eat it there. Lots of parking on the east side of the building. Too bad I live in Nevada; I sure would like another of their Reubens right about now.

But we just wanted lunch so it was fine! The menu is small but it was fine - we all found something we liked and when one of us didn't, the person behind the counter made her a grilled sandwich to order. I got a grilled chicken BLT. It was not a traditional chicken breast but something along the lines of a chipped chicken lunchmeat. Overall, it was "ok" - it tasted ok and it filled my stomach. The custom grilled sandwich was a tad soggy but tasted "ok" as did the meatball sub. No serious complaints but nothing exceptional either. Maybe it was just our preferences or maybe it was just who was cooking that day. ‍

The woman on the other side of him just kept doing her thing. I waited for the pretzels to be done, and people were starting to file in for lunch now. My pretzels sat while Mark worked on another order, so when he went by, I asked him if he could ring me up so I could be on my way since I was on a time crunch. As soon as I said this, the woman spun around and proceeded to scream at me that there 10 orders ahead of me and I would have to wait. She said I was rude, which I didn't feel I was, and I reiterated that I just wanted to get my pretzels and get going. She told me she was the manager (Angela) and to get the hell out of *her* store. All I can say is wow... get another job, Angela. I will never frequent this location ever again. I had been told the Auburn location was one to stay away from. Now I know why! I hope you have audio to go with the video that she reportedly has. I have no clue what video would show. Audio, however, would show a person out of control and it wasn't me. BTW, I apologized to Mark if I was rude in any way, which I didn't think I was, but Angela... karma is a bitch, lady. What comes around goes around and you reap what you sow...

Was less impressed with my meal. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. Grilled breast topped with Frank's hot sauce on a pretzel bun. Proabably should have shelled out a buck to top it with bleu cheese, or at least some swiss. I got onion rings on the side ($2 upcharge--very reasonable compared to many restaurants), and they were very good. Crispy but not overcooked, not so heavily battered that the onion disappeared. The breast on the sandwich was huge--would make two meals for most people. And while I appreciate the generosity, a hunk of meat that large takes away from the pleasure of the meal. I don't enjoy fighting to keep the meat between the pieces of the bun between each bite, The breast and the bun were a bit dry. That said, the service as impeccable. Two people were working the bar, where I sat, and they regularly checked in to see if I needed anything, and we discussed the beers on offer a bit. I probably shouldn't write the place off based on a single sandwich. The Cabin is just interesting enough that I will probably stop back.
