I found this excellent coffee shop in Saginaw thanks to Yelp. I was working in Saginaw for a few days and needed some caffeine on my way to work. I ordered a latte and a Parmesan bagel. The interior is beautiful, much nicer than I expected from the outside. There are plants everywhere, and succulents on the long table. Comestibles and Potables. Had the drip coffee: strong, smooth, and good. Grateful that the barista offered to give me REAL creamer (not the mini moos on the condiment station, thank you!). Also, tried the Dalgona Coffee (the Barista suggested it iced, and it was worth it). WOW. Instead of the foamy coffee over milk, it is a crunchy candy-like honeycomb that dissolves as you stir the coffee. "It's a process." But was delicious -- perfect mixture of sweetness, creamy, crunchy, and coffee flavor. Highly recommend! For snacking, had the No. 3 Bagel: Hummus, arugala, EVOO, S&P, and cherry toms. Went with the Cheese bagel; they had Everything or Plain as well. Nice presentation, delicious, and lovely textures. Bagel was toasted. They also had muffins. Wished they had more baked goods. Vibe. Apparently this place has been around since 1983?! Love the warm, clean, and restful this place evoked. Lots of natural light, textures, and plants. VERRRY COZY. Seats only about 20? Noticed how everyone seemed to know each other, from staff to customers, saying hello and giving hugs around, like Cheers. A lot of customers brought their books to read and enjoy their drinks. The music was of millenial ilk, but undiscernable enough that it did not bother us too much. Hospitality. Reviews said it was friendly. That is true during this visit. The barista that served us checked on us how we liked the Dalgona and wanted an honest response. We raved. The staff was engaged and on top of cleaning and restocking. *thumbs up* Of note. Loo was clean and stocked. LOVED THE air purifiers all over the place, including the loo! Street parking is only good for 2 hours. Seemed there was a parking lot next to the venue. Overall, will come back. They are about details and service. Wished they had more seating. read more

The interior is beautiful and cozy, with a small space that's filled with natural light. The honey matcha latte tastes great! The only downside was the bubble lid. It felt a bit odd since there's no whipped cream. I would've preferred a flat lid instead. Will definitely come back! read more

Kind of got a weird vibe from the staff, but the coffee was good and there was plenty of seating in side and easy street parking out front.

Cool little spot. Coffee was pretty good. Muffin was excellent. The interior was nice and slightly surprising given the look of the exterior. read more

I used to come here all the time when it was at the old location. I'm glad to say that it's kept it's unique atmosphere; with the exposed bricks, the stuffed armchairs, and the plans, but I'm also happy to say the coffee experience has really improved. Red Eye is now a proper 3rd wave coffee shop and they have some really unique menu items as well. The Dalgona coffee and the Golden Milk are both great and my wife and I are looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other items on the menu. read more

I was in town from CA for a family emergency. Finding a really good cup of coffee is not always easy when I've been spoiled in different places. The coffee, espresso, lattes, pour overs, food, etc were all incredible. The staff were smiling and caring and genuinely provided both service and beverages well beyond what I imagined was possible. Red Eye quickly became my daily go-to for a really good beverage! Also, everyone behind the counter made me feel so at home, especially Sarah (Sara - sorry didn't ask about the h) was kind as can be and made me feel like family. The building was beautiful, the spot was clean and creative, and the ambiance was perfect! Oh yeah, and did I mention the expansive beverage menu and that every single one I tried (very many) were all incredible and based on the quality of the coffee (not the additive sugar and such haha).
