after some time we have tried going to Starbucks to see if after a very bad expereince with a hot chocolate that had very little chocolate due to its very watery taste and even after asking for extra chocolate! This time after receiving a gift card we went back and ordered a larger white chocolate hot mocha with extra chocolate. Well guess what it was still tasting and looked like very very little white chocolate was in the large Mocha! As other reviews all I can say is this should be a 0 star. read more

While they may be busy often, the friendly staff and exceptional drinks are worth the wait. This Starbucks consistently pumps out quality drinks with wonderful baristas. Often, going above and beyond. If you need a caffeine fix or something quick to eat, this Starbucks is the place to be. read more

Very poor operation. My coworkers and were excited to see a coffee shop that was open at 5am, however when we showed up at 5:20 looking forward to getting some coffee, we came to find the doors locked. When we knocked on the door both of the employees looked at us and went to the back room. We waited around until a little after 530 then left to go elsewhere. I've got to say... as a normal everyday Starbucks drinker... this one isn't my favorite. Unfortunately, it's the option I'm given in Saginaw. Upside: Drive-through... although they tend to be slow, rude, and don't like to give you the receipt. I had a pickup order. Came through the drive thru. I was glad they remembered my order at the window because I get asked to pay an amount sometimes when I prepay with the app. But I was disappointed when my Irish Cream Cold Brew came with no cocoa powder on top.... changes the drink completely. This location is not my favorite and is always hit or miss on being open and cannot count on it. Frustrating! Specialty hot drinks do not taste as good as the other Starbucks in town. They NEVER have the strawberries for the pink drink either. I'm pretty sure they don't even carry them!! I asked about this because this is like the 5th time I've ordered one from this location and was told they are out! The drive thru person explained to me they have no room to store them because their storage area is so small unlike other locations and that if I'm lucky I could order a pink drink on the weekend and they might have them!! It's ridiculous. So if they aren't including the main ingredients how can you even call it pink drink? Not to mention still wanting to charge you full price! Also the person said they are WAY busier than State Street location which is absolutely not true...State Street is WAY busier and always have what you order and with a smile!! I do not care for this location on Tittabawassee and feel as though it needs better management to run their store properly and to be sustainable. The drive thru people are NEVER friendly!! It's just not right and not the culture that Starbucks is meant to be! Come on people! Please get your act together before you're no longer there because others are sick of it too and already will not visit this location! I'm not the first one with this same opinion! Not a big coffee drinker but I realized, after going to Tim Horton's several times, that Starbucks has the best coffee. One of my biggest peeves with Tim Horton's is that they will add the sugar and cream for you if you request that space be left in your cup for those additions. If you're strange like me, and like your sugar and cream added in a particular way using specific portions, then Starbucks is for you. Kind of like the Burger King of coffee ("Have it your way."). Most everybody knows Starbucks so this isn't news to you. I've never seen this before and maybe it's because I live a partially sheltered life. However, in the freezing temperatures it's kind of nice not having to get out of your car to get coffee. Introducing THE DRIVE-THRU STARBUCKS!!! Never seen it before. Wish there were more around. So this review may be a bit bias, as my friend Lyssa works there now. She used to work in the cafe at the bookstore with me. If she waits on you, she may seem shy, but she's sweet and good at her job. I asked her why Starbucks took a bit longer to receive drinks than our store, she told me they use fresh milk every time. Even if you still have milk leftover, you still dump it out and steam new. It's nice having the Starbucks app on my IPhone because they can just scan the card, and you can work your way up to rewards. You can even automatically re-load it if you want. The cake pops are really good. Breakfast sandwiches are ok. Seating at this location is small. No biggie, just hit up the drive-thru. Like another reviewer had mentioned, be careful because it's possible to wind up in BK's lot and then you will have to pull back out. read more

Coffee was as expected. Standard. But the service...good god. Im not a princess, but I guess paying 12$ for two drinks I expect a level of competence at least. Ordered my drink - Venti caramel brulee latte, coconut milk, two extra pumps, no whip, add shot..... the girl asked what type of sqly I'd like added...What? Drink number two- iced Venti caramel macchiato, light ice, upside down, extra caramel, add whip. "You want it iced?" Yes. Iced. "Iced right?" Holy crap. Yes please. Iced. "That's cold right?" HOLY SHIT. COLD YES PLEASE. I know it's 6 degrees outside...But yes, cold. Iced. Cold. Get to the window.... first drink out.... tastes fine, asked her for a short straw. She hands us a coffee stirrer. Uh? Ok. Benefit of doubt. I'll ask again. "Can I please have a short straw?" She says- I don't know what that is. WHAT??? There's two straws. One is long. One is short. Not that hard to figure out. Again, EVERY other Starbucks I've EVER been to..No issue. Short straw. May I please have one.... after i explained what a short straw was she finally gets me one. Hands over drink number two. There's no whip and it's filled with ice. Not upside down. Oye. Forget it we waited forever (ok like 4 minutes) for the second drink to come out, and it's wrong. Didn't even want to risk tr ting to fix it seriously. Get your stuff together. Ridiculous. Hope.the manager sees this. Went through drive through on 12/26 at about 10:50 am. Thumbs down. The chai latte was undrinkable. It tasted like sour water with chemical overtones. Usually the solution to these situations involves pointing out the error to the barista, and then they make a new one or give you a refund. Not here. The barista got super defensive and would have none of it. I hope there's better in Saginaw. I definitely wouldn't recommended getting your coffee here! I'm a huge Starbucks fan and I was so excited when I found out a location would finally be opening here in Saginaw. However, I've consistently gotten terrible service from this location - it's just not up to the usual Starbucks standard. Drink quality is very inconsistent. My husband drinks the regular brewed coffee and avoids this location because he said it always tastes burnt, like it hasn't been freshly made. Management needs to get it together because this location gives Starbucks a bad name. read more

My first visit here, the first thing I noticed is that it was slow with poor costumer service. I have returned several times and nothing has changed my mind. The manager or the woman in charge while I'm there is very loud, rude, and cares more about getting things done than her costumers and workers. Never had a bad experience with the place and I visit more than once weekly through the drive thru. The line can be long but that's to be expected at certain times of the day. Stopped at Starbucks on Tittabassee to get a dark roast coffee. I normally get the dark roast and it normally tastes pretty good. However, this morning it tastes more like coffee flavored water. I asked the attendant to make sure and he said it was the dark roast. I don't think so... Coffee is Starbucks specialty, and it's pricey. I hope they fix this soon. read more
