I specifically came back here with my friends to enjoy some wine and a great outdoor experience with hopefully the same hospitality we got last time. We arrived and we were seated...it is still beautiful, but it seemed like the person who took care of our tastings just appeared to be very distracted and not so into the wine pours...we got small explanations of what we were getting and probably got the smallest tasting pours I have ever encountered anywhere...in which we got five. I thought the price tag of 30pp they would not be so stingy...and we did purchase a few bottles but there was no discount on the tastings even for that. I would highly encourage you to go elsewhere if you want to get a proper tasting. This place is just not the same as it was....what a pity.

We have been wine club members for awhile, and have visited H&L countless times over the years, so we knew that hosting our rehearsal event here was the perfect choice! Devin, who helped us book, plan and host the event, went above and beyond for us in every way. He could not have made this event more stress-free for us, and he's also just an amazing guy who provided an awesome energy during our event (our guests loved talking to him and learning about the winery). Our ~70ish guests fit perfectly on the lawn and the team made the space feel intimate and beautifully arranged for our group. They let us not only arrive early to set up, but they graciously let us stay a little later when we lost track of time from having too much fun. We love Hook and Ladder even more now than we already did, and highly recommend hosting your next event in your beautiful space!!!

The entire team was so helpful the night of - from helping with our AV/ mics for speeches, taking care of our ~100+ guests, etc. The backyard space is magical at night with the lighting, and was the perfect option for us. The cozy vibe at D'Argenzio Winery created the perfect setting, and the entire night was beyond what we imagined. They also had tables, chairs, etc -- everything we needed which made it super stress free. We also really loved their wines, and got compliments from our guests! It was helpful to have beer options too for non-wine lovers. For our rehearsal dinner, Cibo Rustico Pizzeria was awesome - absolutely get the meatballs! The food was awesome, and set a great tone for the night. Thank you, Breanna, and everyone at D'Argenzio, for making our evening unforgettable. We can't recommend this venue enough!

Our guide Shelby was incredibly kind, fun, and knowledgeable sharing insights about the property and making everyone feel welcome. The event took place in the winery's massive rose garden. The garden was in full bloom with every color rose you could imagine. We had all the tools and vases we needed to create our very own floral arrangements to take home. The floral arranging experience was creative, relaxing and set in such a beautiful garden setting. After finishing our arrangements we returned to the main tasting room for an outdoor catered lunch paired with Hanna's wines. Eating and sipping among the vineyards was the perfect way to unwind, socialize, and share our creations. We ate tons of delicious food and drank some amazing wines. Every single detail of this event felt thoughtfully planned. The Hanna team truly went above and beyond with the hospitality with this one. Overall, I would give this event 100000/10. I have taken many similar classes but none have topped Hanna Winery's Roses & Wine event. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more opportunities to attend. Thank you Hanna Winery for such a beautiful experience!

It is off of Occidental and surrounded by rows of vines, like many others on that road. The wines are fine--the pours are not generous, but you will get 5-6 different tastes for $35. You will find something you like--I especially enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc that is sold more widely and a Zin that tasted even better at home. I wish that at least one of the tasting fees would have been comped with a purchase.

In 2024 we received a shipment of wine where all the wine in the shipment was broken. In typical situations, wineries offer replacement of broken bottles, but Fog Crest was impossible to reach in spite of (literally) 50 phone calls and emails. Since I couldn't reach them, I canceled my subscription to their wine club. Flash forward a few months, they charge me another ~$500 on my credit card for wine, but never ship me any wine (in spite of the fact that I had already canceled online). Again, dozens of calls and emails, no answer and no response. Still trying. A few months after that, they charge me ANOTHER ~$500 on my credit card for wine, but don't ship that wine to me either. After probably 100 calls and emails, I finally talk to the wine club coordinator on the phone. She of course acknowledges my dozens of messages, and acknowledges my situation. She says she will replace the wine that was broken and figure out why they've been charging me for wine I haven't been receiving and make it right. But that she can't talk right now and she'd call me back with more information. That was a month ago. I've now called again dozens of times, and emailed. No response. Called and emailed the owner, no response. This is borderline criminal: $1,500 in charges for undelivered product, a non-existent customer service experience, and an online system so archaic that it doesn't process your cancelation and continues to charge you for product.

I purchased his Kerner, and the Black Roses Pinot Noir and the Syrah, his Co-conspirator Grenache, and his Black Roses Sangiovese all beautifully made. So we met up at 4th Street Cellars. And he brought me a glass of their Cabernet!! First thing is I love the atmosphere here, it's tastefully decorated in a dark wood minimalist style. Which is very comfortable!! And the lady working and pouring is friendly and knowledgeable about the wines! They have 3 brands the starting with it's least expensive brand Egret which has a Rose', an SB, a Chard, a Pinot Noir and a Cab all in the $20 range then comes the Bonneau series with a Chardonnay, a Pinot Noir, Cabernet, Zin and Petite Sirah, plus 2 dessert wines the Nectar of Chardonnay which is a late harvest Chardonnay and very delicious with acidity to create balance and make it better for food pairings and last is a semi-sec Chardonnay made in the style of a Vouvray from Loire Valley France usually off dry or slightly sweet and delicious. I wasn't able to taste the last brand named Opal Moon all they make is a Cabernet Sauvignon made from grapes in Rutherford Napa Valley at $78/btl. The Bonneau Cab is from Alexander Valley and is very good at a price of $48 while the Egret brand is from Sonoma County so everywhere and its price is $29 bucks!! Extremely affordable lighter bodied Cabernet Sauvignon! The lady working gave us a bowl of chips and gave us a choice between that and popcorn an extremely friendly gesture on her part. Wes was drinking a cider!! From a 16oz can. And that was it. A genuine experience on a cold rainy week day afternoon!!
