Great service . Followed through with insurance . No hassle . Quick. Would highly recommend.

I was referred to Walser Collision & Glass by BMW Motorwerks in Bloomington, as they did not do glass replacements on vehicles, specifically BMWs. Walser Collision & Glass told me they tested everything before removing the glass to ensure all the electronic systems tied to the windshield were working. They said everything checked out okay. At this point, Walser Collision & Glass replaced the vehicle's windshield. Once they replaced the glass, they tested the electronic system again, and they were coming up with failures in the electronic system. They told me that it might be the glass they were using, although they had never had this problem before, so they suggested installing the original manufacturer's glass, which was a more expensive glass. I agreed to the more expensive glass because I wanted the electronic systems tied to the windshield to work. After replacing the windshield again with the more expensive glass and still coming up with failures in the electronic systems, they now claimed that somehow water had magically appeared when they removed the glass, causing the electronic system to short everything out. They said they could do nothing and that the issue was not their fault. At this point, I took the vehicle back to Motorwerks to have them look at the electronic system. After running the diagnostics and inspecting it, they found no shorts in the wires or water damage. According to Motorwerks, everything looked good except that the electronic system was not working. Repairing the electronic system to get the car back to its original state would cost over $2,500. This is a significant amount, especially considering that when I took the car to Walser Collision & Glass, everything was working fine. Their response to the issue was to blame us, claiming that water had caused the problem. However, their theory is flawed. If water was the issue, wouldn't the car have been leaking water the whole time if the original windshield was not sealed properly? There are many good companies out there that can replace windshields and will take responsibility when they do something wrong. Walser Collision & Glass is not one of them. I would not recommend taking your vehicle here; if there were to be an issue, they would not take responsibility. Also, I am typically not a person to write reviews as I believe there are normally two sides to every story, but I can't get over the fact that when I took the car there, everything worked fine, but when I got it back, the electronic systems tied to the windshield were not working, and it was my fault. read more

I went to Walser this afternoon for an estimate on some body damage I incurred when trying, unsuccessfully, to park my Crv in my garage. Got to Walser and almost immediately I was being helped by the Manager Jeff Anderson and Estimator Ryan Schroeder. Jeff took a look and said it was only cosmetic damage and would I like them to clean it up. Yes!! I said and in no time the cleaned and buffed out the paint transfer! I couldn't believe it when they said no charge! I highly recommend this business and ask you try them out. You'll be happy you did! read more

Walser Collision & Glass - No damage anymore!! - Body Shops Near Me - Bloomington, Minnesota

My Subaru Outback had extensive damage to the passenger side front quarter requiring replacement of the front bumper, headlight assembly and a whole host of other work. These guys were efficient, courteous and very professional. The quality of their work is amazing! read more

We have been to Walser Collision & Glass in Bloomington, MN twice during the past year for vehicle damages estimates and repairs. We were first referred to two different Twin Cities repair shops and got high cost estimates and scheduling delays, and went to Walser for 'second opinions.' Both times, we chose Walser, where we were treated courteously, fairly and quickly, and both times the cost and scheduling estimates were very attractive. Thank you Walser Collision & Glass in Bloomington - potential customers, if you get an estimate elsewhere, get a 'second opinion' here - you'll be glad you did! read more

I spoke to manager Jeff about rust on some body work that Walser did on my car under the previous owner. He told me to bring the car in the next day and Walser would look at it. After driving 30 miles to get there,Jeff was unavailable, but someone else took a look at the car and told me that the lifetime warrantee on body work was not transferable and continued with other reasons why the rust would not be covered. I stopped the manager from continuing, by saying that if the warrantee was not transferable, I did not need to hear any more and asked him why another manager would tell me to bring the car in for a look. All I got was a "sorry". It seems like they just wanted to get me there to give me a quote. I was clear with Jeff that I did not own the car when the work was done, even though I had all of the documentation. Bad first and last experience with Walser. read more

My car has now been here for 3 weeks and they haven't started working on it. Mind you, I scheduled this appt 3 months prior and sent them my claim the same day I made the appt. They had it at their location for 8 days before they even called my insurance company and figured out they needed another part. They are terrible with communicating things throughout the process. I've called them once a week wanting updates. They never answer the phone and take ~24 hours to call back. Had I not been the one to call every time, I wouldn't have been notified of any of this. I'm disgusted. So far, I've paid $800 out of pocket for a rental for the last 3 weeks when I could have been driving my car around until the part they needed arrived. The part apparently arrived last Friday and it's still not assigned to a technician to start working on it...6 days later. This review MIGHT change slightly when my car is done. But, I will never suggest this place nor bring my car here again. Incredibly disrespectful to my time and my money. read more

My car was broken into overnight, window smashed. By the time I had called to make an appointment, to the time my car was fixed, vacuumed, and returned to me in pristine condition, 4 hours. In fact, I had my car fixed before the police even got back to me about filing a report! Josh walked me though the process and was so helpful, and honestly it was so comforting to know that even in this super stressful time, Walser Collision had my back and made everything so easy. I hope to never have this problem again, but, if I, or anyone I know, ever needs body or glass work, I will send them here! Thanks again Josh! I'm a customer for life. read more

Took longer than they said and not satisfied yet. Mark, the general manager, said that they would keep working until i was satisfied. I will keep you posted. As of now, the jury is still out. read more

As a former employee, I can honestly say this is a great place to get your repairs done. I have brought in my family's car and my own car before for work. All of the guys are very thorough and honest. Speed is also a priority for them! read more

I have to thank the Walser team. They have never met me in person, but they were extremely kind and helpful when my car was rear ended while I was on vacation in Minneapolis. The car ended up being a total loss, but they were kind, attentive, and compassionate to me throughout the process. I highly recommend their services based on the exceptional customer service they offered me during a stressful time. Given how they treated me - someone from out of state who ended up not even being a "real" customer - I can only imagine how well they would take care of their local, paying customers. read more

After not getting calls returned from another garage I called in talked to Dave, told me to stop in whenever to get estimate. Stopped in later that day and scheduled drop off for repair two business days later and repair all finished before weekend which was three business days. Nice work, they talked with insurance and best part was car was vacuumed, wiped down and washed. Would recommend. read more

I am so frustrated with the care I've received here. I am not one to write a bad review and I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. That being said, I've given them MANY opportunities to change my mind. Although the manager Mark is very kind and explains things thoroughly, there seems to be a lack of communication between him and his employees - especially the one assigned to my vehicle. This gentleman has not been showing thoughtfulness or empathy when it is taking close to 1 month to fix my bumper when I was told it would take 1 week, at most 2 (p.s. I'm still waiting). After I called to express my frustration, Mark said I would be 'top priority' yet every time I call and get directed to this employee, he says things like "um, yeah I was hoping they would have started painting yesterday but let me check... yeah they haven't started yet so it looks like it's going to be another week..." ?!?! Very thoughtless and did not care for my time or make initiative to make me a priority. Bless Mark, but I would not recommend this place to anyone. If they see this and show initiative to make me a priority then I will change my review. read more

After a snowplow hit my car, I took it to walser collison. They did a great job fixing the damage and working with the insurance company. Great customer service. read more

I'm usually not one to complain but I was extremely disappointed that the color did not match on my car and it was extremely evident on certain angles. I brought it back in a second time and still didn't match. I was told that's all that could be done and it's the best they could do. They claim to warrant color match for life on the site. This wasn't the case. If you have a fairly unique color car and paint matching is important to you, You should look elsewhere. Now, I will have to look elsewhere and pay additional to have it properly matched. read more

I damaged my 4Runner and wanted to pay out of pocket for the damage so I obtained three quotes in the Bloomington/Eagan area (Maaco, Walser, and Abra). Based on recommendations from friends and family as well as my own research, I went with Walser. I am so glad that I did. I work full time and my husband was out of town so their efficiency with setting up a well priced rental on site was imperative. I could see my kids through the window sitting on the coach in the waiting room while I managed the car seats. They have WiFi so my kids could watch Netflix on my phone during the quote process, etc (didn't need to sit there long but every second counts with young buys). The quote was true to the repair which I respect and the customer service from Dave and Maddi was exceptional. I will be a Walser customer for life. I am so grateful for people that take pride in their work. My 4Runner looks brand new! read more

Walser fixed my car quickly considering the damage done. I noticed something that didn't look quite right and took it back to them. They fixed it without hassle. Sometimes I think businesses define themselves not when everything goes right (though that is important), but how they treat their customer when the customer is unsatisfied. These guys took care of it! read more

Poor service. Took twice as long as they quoted. Disrespectful and misleading. I would not go there again!

I was in a 4 car collision where rear bumper and hood were damaged. Car was in the collision center for about a month, due to trying to find decent parts that would look new (insurance said my car had to have second hand parts if available and in premium condition). Outcome was a nice looking car once again where the inside and outside were detailed beautifully as well! I did argue about why my car's exhaust pipe that had billowing exhaust coming out as when I brought it in, it didn't have that problem and I worried that something had gotten bumped while they were installing the new parts. I wanted them to check it out but was refused that and said I should now take it to my dealship for testing and if the results didn't have to do with the collision that I would have to pay for the testing (even though I was told initially their place had the capaibility to do that too and without the fear of having to use money from my own pocket). So, kind of a twisting of the truth which miffed me I guess. All said and done though, the exhaust issue went away and so I'm going to not worry about the car and enjoy it instead. :) read more

Completely incompetent from management to shop techs. Rear end damage new car. Put on used parts when Insurance will pay for new when car is less than 1 year old. Management will tell you what you want to hear. Said they replaced parts that were not replaced and charged Insurance company. Could not match paint color, requested repaint and still not matched. Ended up painting more of my new car to blend to cover up their incompetence after telling them not to blend to match there color screw up. Replaced under body panel, poor welding, no grinding, no seam sealer, no rust proofing. Panel was rusting after 1 month. Took out antenna amplifier for key fob and didn't put back in. Tail light within trunk lid was not reconnected. Body fit of rear quarter panel is poor. Rear door off aligned. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE for repairs. Have bought three new cars from Walser will never buy another from them. read more
