My bank scheduled me for an inspection after a collision. I asked and confirmed that: 1) I would not pay anything for the inspection at time of pickup, and that 2) I would not have to repair my vehicle with the same company that completed the inspection. (I have a local mechanic I trust already.) Then I receive a form from Caliber Collision requiring (quote): AUTHORIZATION TO REPAIR. (Required field) I hereby authorize Caliber Collision to complete the necessary repairs to my vehicle. I understand that payment in full will be due upon release of the vehicle, including any supplement charges. AUTHORIZATION TO DISASSEMBLE.
