On my way home I noticed the time and thought I would pop in to ask for an estimate appointment. I entered the office to owner Joe & told him what I would be requesting. Joe kindly suggested we step outside and estimate the damage. I showed him the few small defects; he noted that the headlight placement had been damaged and that likely all repairs would be roughly $2100. I asked if they did loaner cars during the repair? They do not, but if it's the other persons insurance they should allow a rental car. I discussed the "Selected Service Shops" the insurance had suggested. He stated that those places are usually commission based and that Wayne-Val is just him, his wife & brother-in-law compared to larger shops that are 20+ associates. I feel confident in leaving my vehicle w Wayne-Val and will do another yelp/update this one once I have actually had my vehicle repaired. I appreciated that Joe quoted me a realistic 19 February as what I'd be looking at for a service date. I mostly appreciated that Joe told me some of the questions that the insurance may ask, such as: do I approve used parts? He said I don't have to say yes and he wouldn't recommend used parts and it could only save insurance a couple hundred dollars. Thanks Wayne-Val for a wonderful and knowledgeable customer service experience!

This guy has amazing skills in body work. My biggest concern was a dent on a bidy crease. If you know these dents, you know that most insurance companies tell you to just "replace the panel." This shows up as a hit on CarFax, and a ding to your insurance. Fua was able to work that dent out so that full panel replacement and paint work was not required. All with less than 24 hours. He also goes above and beyond with little things like re-alinging panels/doors, and unlike most places, my vehicle came back clean. If you truly want to support hard working people and support a local business, I highly recommend you talk to Fua. He also performs a myriad of other detail and vehicle services!

I stopped by Classic Collision and Peter put a nice gift certificate package together and set an appointment for the cleaning to be done. The…read moretruck was in very good condition but had a small amount of rust starting on both the front fenders, some rust starting on the inside bottom of the driver door, and some rust starting on the very bottom rocker panel on driver side. I brought my truck to Classic Collision Center. I brought it here because i drive by this place daily and see that people bring their classic cars there and figured they must do TOP notch work. I talked with the owner Peter Henly who seemed to be a nice guy and a honest guy. He looked over my truck and said he can sandblast all rust off, then rust proof areas and repaint. He talked me into getting new rocker panels and new cab corners on both sides even though they seemed solid to me. Peter banged on them and said to have them replaced. He also put wheel flares on all 4 wheel wells. I also said i wanted my entire tailgate painted because of some scratches i had. Passenger door handle had a small crack and Peter said to have that replaced too because the crack is from rust. He said he will also detail the entire truck inside and out, also touch up any scratches that wont buff out,and said he will make my truck look beautiful. He quoted me 2650 dollars for the job, and no more than 3000. He said the work will take about 2 weeks, and he needs 1000 dollars up front. So i pay the 1000 and leave him my truck. I call Peter the next day and tell him i want new door trim on all 4 doors also, he says that will be an extra 800+dollars for the parts but won't charge me labor because they had to remove the trim anyway. I said I'll buy the trim pieces and drop them off. I bought official GM trim pieces for 370 dollars and dropped them off. Peter also said he would have me come up to the shop to show me why i need new rockers and cab corners when the truck was tore apart. Well i never got a call to come see that. 2 weeks go by so i decided to give Peter a call on a Thursday. He said "your truck will be ready tomorrow and it looks beautiful".i say ok. I call friday afternoon, now he says it will be Monday,i say ok. No call Monday so Tuesday i call he says Wednesday now but don't worry you won't be disappointed it looks beautiful. No call Wednesday or Thursday so Friday afternoon i call and he said its done. I go to get my truck and notice it's pretty dirty especially for supposedly being detailed but needed my truck back and go inside to pay. The total is 3637.35! He said i needed inside rockers too?!?! Um ok..I give Peter 2700 cash and i already paid 1000. Peter ok lets see i owe you 60 bucks and walks off to find change. As I'm waiting im wondering why he isn't getting me 62.65 but whatever. He comes back and says here is your 60 bucks. I shove it in my pocket and say thanks and go home. I get home and notice he only gave me 40 bucks! Geez. I decided to leave that go. I now decide to give my truck a good look over. Immediately i noticed heavy white glue oozing out from behind the new trim i had given them and the trim was coming loose. I'm so upset so i call Peter. I told him about the trim and he says that can't be true!?????? What??? I SAY I'LL COME THERE RIGHT NOW..Peter says too late they are closing so give the truck a good look over and bring it in Monday with and concerns. Not happy but i say ok. I continue looking my truck over and see so many issues i almost threw up!!! I started to clean my filthy truck and notice primer c overspray all over the outside and inside of my truck!!! Also big grease stains on the interior roof fabric!!! They were supposed to sandblast and paint my trailor hitch. Nope didn't do that. They only painted the very bottom of my tailgate.?? I specifically said to paint the entire tailgate!!! Paint was bubbled up on the inside and outside of my doors!!!??? Meanwhile as im seeing all of this i have to keep rubbing my new trim down because it wants to come loose from the truck!!!@??? My tires were so covered in tire dressing that it covered the sides of my truck with that slimy crap. My tires were brand new by the way. Well i spent about 10 to 12 hours attempting to clean this thing over the weekend. Brought it in Monday to talk to Peter. Started to show Peter how all of my door edges had the paint rubbed off from when they had the doors off. Told him all the work i had to do to undo the mess he gave me. He said oh well I owe you a detail job. Asked why the paint was bubbling and coming loose. He says them are rock chips. What??? I only had put 4 miles on the truck. Told him about the trim. He says no way that glue was oozing and no way was my trim coming loose. WHAT???? I promised him i wasn't lying but didn't believe me!!!??? Geez! He said he had stuff to take that primer overspray off my interior plastic. He comes out with some kind of solvent and starts scubbing the plastic. It didn't even take a little bit off!!! He says oh well. I told him how sad and disappointed

When we got the car back, the entire interior was filled with what appeared to be sanding dust. This in and of itself wasn't a huge deal, it just adds to what has become a much larger picture. Also with this repair, the first time that we drove the vehicle at night we found that one of the headlights pointed off in a very odd direction. We took it back to them. They informed us that they had to actually install a new headlight as the one they had put in couldn't be adjusted properly and thus we had to bring the vehicle to them for a third time to ultimately get it fixed correctly. Then after a second accident, the vehicle came back and the key-fob remote no longer worked as it was supposed to. My wife went back to the repair center and the technician argued with her stating that her car didn't have the feature which she said it did. She had to get the manual out to prove the car had the feature. They then agreed to look into it and ultimately were able to fix the problem and get the car working the way it should have been. This event required a total of 3 trips to the repair center to ultimately get the car fully repaired. This in addition to having to deal with poor customer service. Now this last time (yes I acknowledge this vehicle has been an accident magnet), the vehicle was rear ended and had to go back to the repair center. After getting the car back the rear-view camera was found to be intermittently not working. On occasion, instead of there being a video feed on the screen in the car, it simply shows a black screen with a message to go to the dealership. My wife scheduled an appointment to have it looked at the AutoNation repair center. She was told it would take 30 minutes to look into the problem and we should be there at 8 am. I arrived shortly before 8 am. The person I worked with explained that the mechanic who needed to look at the problem wasn't in yet. I had an appointment I needed to be at by 9 am. At 8:40 am, the mechanic still hadn't arrived and I had to leave, so the issue still wasn't addressed. Because of the continuation of problems at this repair center I reached out to the organization expressing my dissatisfaction. A few days later I received a call from a manager (Kevin I think). It was clear early in the conversation that Kevin had little appreciation for us as customers and was only interested in making excuses and justifications for his team's poor performance. I would avoid this business at all costs!!
