The people here are focused on customer service. The pricing for painting was the best I could find and the work was not only great but quick. And they offer free loaner cars if you need one, which I did. Highly recommend! read more

This shop is upfront, and actually tries to save you money. They have always met smallish repairs (dents, dings) with a quick resolution and reasonable prices- Highly recommend! read more

I just got off the phone with Central Auto to inquire about body work on my rusted 2009 F150. The super-personable mechanic basically talked me off the project. Too expensive for what I'd gain. Who does that these days? Central didn't get my business on this project, but they sure will on the next! read more

This was the third auto repair shop I tried and they were able to fix the issue I had with the latch that unlocks the trunk! They were super nice and genuinely seemed like they wanted to help! read more

I took my older car to Central Auto Body for some minor repainting of some items, and some polishing and detailing. I'm sure it was a small job for them, but they did great work as always: gave me an accurate estimate, kept me posted, and did a good job at reasonable prices. read more

Very friendly and did a great job on my Mazda. Best of all, my car came back super clean and they even took the time to fold the blankets in my back seat that I use for my dogs. read more

First of all this place made me feel real welcome when I walked in they told me they were going to take care of me.i had two problems I needed to take care of.i paid for the problems to be fixed by them. I picked up the car told the problems were fixed.then I got the car home and noticed one of the problems was not fixed.called them they said they did there best .but not fixed .I had already paid them. So nothing can be done. Then I noticed a couple weeks later that they had taken a couple of parts off my car that I still need.and those parts will need to be replaced that will be in the thousands of dollars. And still repair the vehicle . Bad place read more

BEST AUTOBODY SHOP IN NE MINNEAPOLIS! Ask for Rick! Reasons why you should go here: - Incredibly polite staff (especially on the phone) - Do an outstanding job every time - They are in the business of helping people not squeezing money out of people - Prices are difficult to beat - Family owned business I have brought my BMW in here multiples times for details and dent/scratch removals. For the details I usually only get the external one, but every time I bring it in for one, I notice they detail the inside as well. In addition the scratch removals, I usually leave one or two out that look minor and they find every thing and fix it without any additional charges. Getting scheduled in can be a little challenging but you will soon realize that it is worth the wait due to the quality, service, and pricing. Recently I nicked my garage and got some white paint on it(About a food in length). I scheduled a time to bring it in to get fixed, but when I brought it in to get an estimate, they came out, cleaned it up with some chemicals, and sent me on my way with no charge. I insisted on paying but they insisted that it was more important to make me happy. Their above and beyond, make the customer happy, and beat expectations is something that happens every time I visit. I would highly recommend you go here to get your car fixed or detailed. You will leave happy every time. In addition insurance will work here as well. You just have to sign an extra form if they are not within your authorized shop with your insurance company. Central Ave is worth the wait, delivers amazing customer service, family owned, and will ensure you leave happy every time. read more

I was on a budget and the 1st place I called told me it would cost upwards of $2000 to fix. As a student on a budget I was worried I wouldn't be able to do repairs? Central fixed it for $300 and I couldn't be happier. They did a great job, did it quickly and they were really friendly. Seriously, they're a great shop read more

I recently had to get my trunk, bumper, and tail light replaced after being rear ended. My car is old enough that the insurance company wouldn't pay for the repair, just the salvage. I was going out of the country so as I left I told Central Ave to do whatever costs the least, and don't do any paint- just used parts. The guy who looked at it to take the car was very honest and upfront, telling me it wasn't going to be a couple hundred dollar job if that's what I was thinking. I came back to pick up the car and it was all done for me exactly how I asked- done for a price I was very happy with. I recommend this auto body shop for anyone- they won't rip you off and they listen to what you want. read more

I originally found this place through an on-line daily deal of some kind or another. However, since my original visit I have returned to have my car detailed twice. All 3 times I have had a great experience - with both the service and the work. They have provided me with a free loaner car while the work was being done and 2 out of the 3 times arranged for a 3rd party leather repair person to come and fix puncture wounds in my leather seats while my car was there for the detail work. (Labrador with sharp toenails) I would definitely recommend this place for interior/exterior detail work. read more

I needed a new bumper after someone parallel parked into my car. Central Ave Auto Body was wonderful to deal with on the phone and in person. The other guys' insurance company tried to get them to use after market parts (which is naughty) and Central Ave did right by me and installed a shiny new bumper at the lower price. They offered me a free loaner while my car was in the shop, and the work was done quickly. The car looks beautiful, and Central Ave is my new body shop. read more

Fortunately I haven't needed much body work over the years, but when I have these guys have done the work. (Last repair might have been 15+ years ago.) This year I brought my mom's mini van in for damage to two doors and a fender received in a parking garage. The 9-year-old van came out looking showroom new. They even touched up some unrelated scratches on the opposite side of the van. That's a caring attitude. I'd call them master craftsmen with old world craftsmanship. I agree with another review here, they're in business to help people. And they make vehicles look great. read more

I found Central Ave Auto Body via google after getting estimates from 2 other competitors. I spoke to Rick over the phone and he was very professional and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable with him and decided to bring my car by for an estimate. Much to my surprise, he came in less than the competition, gave me a free loner car and only took them 1 day to replace and paint my front bumper. They also buffed my headlights and touched of some of the nicks they noticed on other parts of the car. I will recommend this company to my friends and family for all there auto body repairs!! 5 stars!!! read more

This place is fast, friendly and they do excellent work. Had a 6 inch scratch on a rear door and a similar scratch on the front fender. Took the car to another place for an estimate that came to $2000. Came here, got and estimate for $500. Had Central Ave do the work and it looks great! Definitely recommend these guys. read more

s, I usually went to one of those chain bodyshops. I was always nervous about how my car would be repaired

I read a review saying someone brought their Rogue here and the service was great. So of course I brought my Rogue here to get the back bumper replaced and repainted. It was awesome. Done on time and even a few bucks below their estimate. They were friendly and knowledgeable and even had a car available for me to use while they fixed mine up. Very happy with their service. read more

I had my the front end of 2002 Saturn Vue repaired by this shop in my neighborhood and I was completely pleased by the way I was treated, by the quality of the work done on my car, and the cost for the job. If you need body work done, I recommend these folks without hesitation. Great job! P. O'B. read more

My mechanic of 20+ years recommended I go to Central Avenue Auto Body when my car started developing rust. The estimate I was given was what was charged, the work was done on time, they truly *did* give me a free loaner, and the employees treated me like an important client. Best of all, my Subaru looks fantastic. I would recommend Central Avenue Auto Body to a friend, and I will return there in the future if I need more work done. read more

I brought my car here for a competitive quote, since I live close by, I thought it would be convenient. I saw some good reviews on Google+ and thought it would be worth a try. They were incredibly accommodating and gave me an estimate in a matter of minutes. Their quote included more work for less than the quote I got from a larger shop. I also needed a little detail work to an unrelated (i.e. not covered by insurance) dent. Which they said they could take care of at the same time for a much more reasonable prx than the other place. I was going out of town and really wanted the work done while I was gone. I was able to drop it off on Friday evening and, as promised, it was ready to picked up on Thursday am. Beating the insurance check which, inexplicably, had not been mailed yet! I picked up the car and it looked flawless, was waiting in the warm garage for me and had been given a once over inside and out, so it was sparkling clean. I would highly recommend these guys. They were so nice to deal with, incredibly professional and gave me back an almost brand new looking car. I will definitely be back to polish up a few other dings in the near future. read more
