They told me the pcm was not working. Their estimate was more than the value of the car. The same day I went to a different mechanic for a a second opinion. I stayed there because I wanted to see. They found out the gas cap was not closing. Then they open the trunk and found the gas valve unplugged. We were all shocked. They put it back in and the car is working fine now. The Vrooom guy told me they left the valve unplugged so it wouldn't cause any further issues. Scam!

They did a fluid and filter change, and now it's shifting beautifully. That's a TON of wasted time and lost wages. I get there and all he says to me is, "I have openings starting on Wednesday." I will NEVER go back to The Wonderful Muffler Man (which is hilarious as his personality is the literal opposite of "wonderful"). I was told I needed new rear brakes, so I planned to replace them myself on Saturday, 12/29/25. When I went to start the job, my security socket was nowhere to be found. So much for my Saturday project. The shop was closed for the weekend, so I couldn't resolve it. I met with the owner, Dan, on Monday. He ordered a new set of security lugs in hopes that the key would work. It did not. The tech had misplaced my original key during the brake inspection. Needless to say, it was a major inconvenience--and I didn't receive so much as an apology from the owner. This was my experience as a first-time customer. A $50-off coupon will not bring back my business.
