First time buying from a small dealership and I will never again. I had originally purchased a…read morewarranty on the car I bought and later decided that I did not want it so I contacted the dealership and canceled it. Upon purchasing the car I was told that I had a 30 day OR 1,000 miles limited warranty. I am under the 30 day warranty and under the 1,000 miles, my car recently has had issues with the computer system so I called the dealership. When I talked to Scott (one of the managers) I politely greeted him with my name and the car that I bought and he immediately cut me off with "yep you canceled your extended warranty". I then asked about the limited warranty because as I said before they advertise a 30 day OR 1,000 miles limited warranty on cars that are 2020 or newer with less that 75,000 miles on them (which I have) and I was under both the 30 days and 1,000 miles. Scott proceeded to argue with me telling me that I only qualify for 15 days OR 500 miles because my car has more than 75,000 miles and they cant help me AFTER I so clearly told him I have 63,000 mile. He clearly didn't care to talk to me, I am assuming because he didn't get his commission after I canceled my extended warranty. After he decided to actually listen what I was saying he told me that the limited warranty only covered mechanical issues nothing with the computer system, which is fine, but I could have gotten to that conclusion without having to argue with a sales person who seems to be petty after losing a commission. I actually dealt with him when I bought the car and he told me he would greatly appreciate it if I left a review of my experience here because they are a small dealership in a big sea of dealerships. Well Scott here's your review!!!! Not a good way to get costumers to come back or refer their friends!!!

They have been very good to me and I have developed a great working relationship with both Nick and Tom Wernet. This is a family business and it is devoid of the typical "run around" that you get from big dealerships. I mentioned to them the year and make of the car that interested me. It was almost a year later that they called me to tell me about a car they had found in Arizona. I loved the car and purchased it on the spot. They meticulously prepped the car for sale. When I picked it up I was pleasantly surprised. The car has been great. These men are "straight shooters" and they are not trying to convince you to buy anything. They specialize in LEXUS because of the quality and reputation of the brand. I will gladly purchase from them again. Don't be afraid to look at their inventory. If you know what you like they can and will find it for you. I feel fortunate to have found them.

When my husband took our 2022 Tucson to Walser, they told him that the rear blinker was on the fritz because of water in our rear lamps, which they falsely claimed was "due to collision damage" and therefore "not covered under warranty." They charged us $127 just to look at our bumper, then gave us an estimate for almost $4,000 to repair a problem that their own technician described as "already a known issue on these guys." We told them that this vehicle had never been in a collision, but they ignored us and falsely wrote on our invoice that collision damage was the cause of the problem. When I returned later to ask if a tear in the plastic (caused by a tire blowout 2 years ago) was the same thing as damage to the bumper, a representative confirmed that it was not. Nevertheless, she insisted that the technician had found a crack in the bumper when they looked under the car. That was their second falsehood. She offered to put it on the lift again, and when they checked again, behold, they found no damage to the bumper. The service manager admitted that the tear in the plastic could not possibly have affected the water in the center taillight (which is at the bottom of the hatchback), but she told me that a tear in the plastic could have caused the condensation in the taillight, because it had broken a seal, allowing water to enter. Another untruth, as it turned out. I later crawled under the car to personally have a look, and found out that it couldn't possibly be true. The manager said that she would contact Hyundai to see if they would cover the center light. She said it would take about 24 hours to get an answer. The next morning, she texted my husband to say that they submitted the request to Hyundai the day before, "and they are still deciding if they are going to participate in helping with the cost of rear lamp assembly. Hopefully they will have some kind of decision for me today." That was their last communication. After getting caught in so many falsehoods, it appears they thought it was just easier to drop all communications. That's when I made an appointment at Buerkle Hyundai, and (oh my) what a difference was that experience. I explained the problem and the damage to the plastic behind the wheel, and they immediately offered to submit a goodwill request to Hyundai to cover the charge. They said they might receive an answer in 10 minutes, but it might take an hour. What? You mean it doesn't take over 24 hours to get an answer from the Hyundai headquarters? (For those keeping score at home; that was Walser's fourth falsehood to us.) After Buerkle submitted the request, Hyundai approved the repair in less than an hour. Buerkle had the part in stock, and the whole experience, from driving in, to getting approval for covering the cost, to repairing the problem, took less than 3 hours. Everyone I spoke with at Buerkle was tremendously friendly and helpful, but a special shoutout to Danni. She's a gem, and Buerkle should give her a raise and a promotion. Walser Hyundai charged us $127, and their only service was to treat us disrespectfully and feed us a pack of untruths. (I'm not sure what the industry standard might be for charging customers for falsehoods, but $127 seems kinda pricey.) Then they handed us a $4,000 estimate to repair a problem that they knew could have been covered by Hyundai, if only they would take the trouble to submit the request. Buerkle Hyundai fixed the entire problem in under 3 hours, and they threw in a free car wash and snacks. The total bill for the visit? $0.00. Buerkle has earned two new customers. I hope this review wins them many more.

I documented and THIS DEALERSHIP didn't allow me to work directly with the technician. Compare that with Morries - I absolutely recommend them- where the technician was honest with me that Hyundai F'ed up (MY word) their PHEV HVAC system - that the floor heat is prioritied last - when outdoor is under 20 degrees and lower don't expect floor heat. WHO EVER THOUGHT WE NOW NEED TO ASK if the heat will work in the winter? To add more facts: dashboard heat was 60 degrees warmer than the floor when all heat is directed to feet only (logged over 2 months with a meat thermometer) - I brought all my testing to LUTHER and they said - hybrids are known for this. NO THEY ARE NOT! My Lexus worked great. Regardless, it is working as designed. Although I purchased the 10 year service plan, Luther had made the sale and post sale - if you don't fit into their troubleshooting flow chart - get the customer out the door. Why i am not happy with Luther is the ego - that nothing I said mattered. ON THE OTHERHAND, Morries totally cared and agreed with everything I said BUT EXPLAINED to me what the criteria he needed to prove so that corporate would assist us. We own 2 Hyundais and the other isn't PHEV and works great. We were up for purchasing a car but FOR SURE NOT WITH LUTHER dealerships and not a Hyundai. Luther dealership FAILED to be honest during the sale. The PHEV HVAC system is a known customer complaint. Luther would only follow their process - that it is working as designed - however it certainly doesn't meet Minnesota requirements. My previous car was a Lexus Hybrid and LOVED IT! The only reason I let it go is it wasn't tall enough when competing with semi trucks and SUVs. So my suggestions is if working with Hyundai be sire the HVAC system works and no to Luther bit a HUGE YES to Morries.

It started with a call to the Parts Dept where Eric had incredible patience with me as I asked him about replacement wipers and cargo mats. He was kind and knowledgeable and we made a plan for me to come in the next day to pick up some things. (Thank you, Eric, for not making me feel stupid when I asked so many questions!) When I arrived at the dealership, I was immediately greeted with a welcoming smile by Jill, who offered me assistance and walked me to the Service Dept (and along the way pointing out the snack/beverage bar). (Thank you, Jill, for making me feel like I was the most important part of your day at that moment. Without any hesitation.) When I met Eric in person it was like an old friend was helping me since he had established such great rapport with me the prior day over the phone. While at my car looking at the wiper situation, he noted that I actually needed a new back wiper arm cover. After handling the blades and cargo mat, Eric walked me across the hall to Service and introduced me to Justin Kohler. Justin got me all set up in the system and got the wiper cover replaced right away and ran the car through the car wash for me. In a subsequent visit, Justin sprang into action, providing INCREDIBLE service and easing any worries I was having. Justin's knowledge and tenure at the dealership served me well because he quickly and exactly diagnosed the problem and executed a solution. When I bought the car (from a different place) they had told me that I didn't need to go to the Porsche dealership for service, and I could find a few cheaper places to go. However, that isn't going to be the route I take. There is no substitute for what I experienced at Porsche Minneapolis. I know that Justin and everyone in Service is going to take care of what is needed, efficiently and completely and protect the investment I made in this car. I know that Eric can provide me better counsel on getting a replacement part than I can get online at Amazon. And I'd rather be greeted by Jill's sunny face than an app interface or some lesser shop. Combine that with the fact that they're selling new cars as used in order to get around Porsche's rules against markups to add $75k or more to msrp, and you're really better off going anywhere else. For cars in this range you can, and should, shop nationally to get the best price and service. There are so many better options out there.
