This was my experience today:…read more 7:15 am I called to inquire about brake services. I was forwarded to a technician who gave me a consult, rough quote, and am 11am appointment time. 10:30 am I arrived at Murphy's and checked in with a cashier, and was connected with Dan, who serviced the car. Dan was able to take my car within 10 minutes, and took the car for a test drive and got it in the garage for an inspection. 11:00am Chuck came to offer me the specific fix that needed to be done on my front brakes, and advised me on the remaining life expectancy of the rear brakes. As all that was needed was the front brakes, Chuck told me I'd be out in roughly an hour. I asked if they could change the oil as well, and he agreed. I inquired on the price, and Chuck told me specifically. I inquired about with him about an ATM on site, as I would need one to do a bank transfer. Since there is no ATM there, Chuck offered me a loaner car to go take care of the banking needs. I was given the keys, and I took care of my business. 12:15pm Dan took the car for a test drive, and returned the vehicle right in front of me. He explained the status of the repairs done and wished me well. I paid the cashier, and was treated with kindness. 12:30pm I left Murphy's. My last bit of context: Two days ago my brakes started making noises. As I'm not a mechanical kinda guy, I was nervous about what needed to happen. My wife needed to leave out of state today, and take our only car for her brother's funeral. Of the four shops I called this morning, Murphy's was the most cost-effective, and had the most pleasant demeanor over the phone. I had never been to Murphy's before, and I was concerned about being held up longer than needed to be. I was given kind, calming, and professional service throughout my entire experience. Chuck's character, as well as the character from his staff are similar to the small town I grew up in... even though we're right on the edge of the city. I'm grateful for an incredibly calming, positive, and professional experience today. I'll be back for other services, in the future as my car needs.

Chuck dropped what he was doing and connected the diagnostic tool, and found it was only low on oil. I was back on the road within 10-15 minutes, at a very reasonable rate. I had them place a hitch on my 2019 Equinox and they did a excellent job! I didn't know Mr. Kurth but the new owners Pete and Calvin were incredible kind and helpful. They were very detailed and transparent around costing and the work they would have to do to complete the job. It truly was a hometown feel. Lastly, I appreciate Pete and his missionary work in Haiti with his wife and 4 daughters. Very cool story and exactly someone you want to work with if trust is important to you. Thanks guys and I wish you the best in your new venture. I will recommend your operation to others as it comes up!

I know that wasn't true. so I took it to a different shop that ac fixed my belt. so they tried to rip me off and seems like take my engine. I will never go here again even with the new name change!

I left with a estimate of repairs…read more Thirteen days later, when I didn't take it to them for repairs, they lowered the estimate by $1200 with NO explanation to me. They had my phone number. As a result State Farm lowered the claim amount by $1200. Either Collision Center is over charging State Farm, or they are penalizing me for not taking it to their shop. Now, even if I take it to another shop I'll be fighting State Farm for the $1200 from the original estimate. This might also be a good reason not to take your vehicle to a State Farm Approved Vendor.

I was heading out of state and just stopped to see if they could somehow fit me in even though I didn't have an appointment. I was worried about being safe on this out of state trip. Not only did the service department fit me in within minutes, they said they would not let me leave town without making sure my Kia was safe to drive. AWESOME!!! They did find a nail in the tire and were able to fix it right away. My Seltos is still under warranty so they did it all for free. From the minute I walked in. The Service Cashier, The Service Mechanic and the Service Manager were all super friendly, professional and eager to help me with my issue. In no time at all I was on my way and feeling safe about heading out of town. This really doesn't surprise me much as I have always got great service there over and over and over. I've brought my vehicles there for over 10 years now. The Service Manager Melina is simply the BEST!!! She has helped me and been so friendly and professional all these years. Even before she became the Manager. I honestly leased my current car there simply because of Melina and knowing that if I have any issue with kia at any level, she will or would try to help resolve it, and help me in any way she can. Cornerstone Kia is very lucky to have such a great person like Melina working for them and their customers. So here is a big thank you to the entire Service Department for once again helping me and going above and beyond that day when I didn't even have an appointment scheduled. I appreciate all of you!!!
