Do not use this company to clean your couch. They ruined a couch of mine. I had the unfortunate case of having the couch cleaned before it went into a storage unit that was an inside A/C controlled unit. I saw the streaks all over the couch and they said it was the water solvent they use and it will go away once the couch dried. I will admit it was my fault for taking their word as I had to immediately get the couch into storage after it was cleaned. I just pulled it out the other day and those streaks are still there. I cannot get them out. It had been year since the appointment so the company can't insure it. I offered to produce the store unit receipts backing up to the date of the original purchase to verify my story. Plus, I'm an interior photographer and have photos of the couch before it was streaked. Meta data on the pictures to prove the dates. They didn't even try to work with me. I will fault myself for not double checking. However, if you have to double check a company's work, they definitely aren't worth their services. read more

Walo Maids is AMAZING! They first cleaned my 1bed/1 bath loft on December 16, 2011 and after I came home from work to see the magic they created I immediately signed up for bi-weekly service. It's easy for me because I have a hectic schedule. With Walo, I do not need to be at home when they come to clean. I tell me building's concierge to provide Walo with a key. I was a little worried at first when I was looking for a maid service. Since I wouldn't be at home while, who to trust was a huge deal and it's extremely hard to find a reputable company with affordable prices. I trust Walo because of their great score on BBB. I called other BBB accredited maid services and they all wanted to charge me between $100-$200. With Walo I only pay $65 every other week!! That's amazing for the quality, trustworthy service that they provide. The customer service is also perfect. I sent them an e-mail regarding my service and Carlos, the general manager, responded within the hour. When I opened the door to my apartment it smelled incredibly fresh. Even my two cats were like 'Where are we, where's all our fur?!'. Needless to say, I recommend Walo to anyone! read more

I love Walo Maids. I've use this company a few time for apt cleaning and carpet cleaning and very time I've used them, they have done a wonderful job. I think their prices are perfect not to expensive. Definitely recommend them! read more

Didn't show up at the agreed time, 5 people showed up but they stayed for only 45 minutes cleaning, didn't even move a light coffee table to vacuum a rug, and charged extra because the house was too messy. They did mop floors, clean dishes, sink, organize things, sweep, clean toilets, shower, etc read more

Hired service to clean my townhouse and steam clean my carpet before my new baby arrived and was displeased to find out the list of items the maids DO NOT clean. The cleaning they did was as good as the cleaning I do myself (basic cleaning of common areas), but I expected the "Deep Clean" (windowsills, walls, garbae cans, shower walls, etc.) which is what this company offers. Not true at all. Carpet cleaner came at 2:00 p.m. which did not meet the 8:00 a.m. - noon timeframe initially selected when I booked my service. He also did not do a great job cleaning the spots on carpet. So that was an inconvenience to my day, and felt like a waste of money. Spoke to Manager and not much help was offered to increase my customer satisfaction. Would not recommend. read more

You will not find a better service than this. I've used them a bunch (and still do) including a move out clean and organizing services. They are affordable, professional, and leave your home looking, smelling, and feeling amazing!!! read more

The lady told me that she sucked up a screw and asked to be compensated for broken vacuum, which I did. I sent $80 and asked her to provide a recipe if the repair was more than $80. I paid the cleaning free via Venmo which is what Vilma asked of me. Since this was a business transaction I selected the "Goods and services", this company provided me a service. That money cleared out of my account immediately. I then got a string of texts saying that she won't be able to pay her rent since Venmo is holding the funds for 21 days. I was not aware that this was a personal Venmo account and not set up to receive business funds. I spent hours on the phone to Venmo trying to get this squared away but ultimately, nothing can be done to speed up the process, since there Venmo account is not set up correctly. I then found this page and found pictures of my house, which I did not consent to. The clean was good, but everything else has been a disaster. I do not recommend this company. UPDATE. Update due to owners reply. The issue here lies with Venmo. Ls Ruiz has even supported the fact that I paid with a screenshot. I paid within 30 minutes of the job being completed. I do not have control of how long it takes Venmo to give her the money. I do not control the terms and conditions of Venmo. I spent hours on the phone with Venmo trying to find a resolution but ultimately, they are using a personal account to conduct business transactions, so a hold is put in place for the protection of both parties. Venmo is the way Vilma and this lady requested and agreed on payment. If you don't want to abide by the rules of Venmo and want payment made in a specific way, make that clear upfront. As for the photos, you can take pictures of your work as proof of service, but posting them online without consent seems like violation of privacy. Best cleaning service EVER! I have used individuals and professional crews for 25 years. I found Walo maids about 8 months ago and will never change. This the first crew that does not steal! We have left jewelry, $50 bills, credit cards, and various items laying around. Imagine finding your $50 bill after the cleaning crew leaves. I LOVE THESE PEOPLE. They are professional. They come in and do a great job. I trust them with my house code and everything else. They don't even mind my three crazy dogs. You must hire Walo maids so you can enjoy your clean house and not get ripped off in the process! Note: the prices charged are very reasonable after the first initial clean. read more

I highly recommend Merry Walomaids if you are looking for a professional quality home cleaning service. They are worth every penny and do a 10X better job than anyone we have used previously. So far since we have hired them ... we have been more than satisfied with the professionals they have sent to clean our house. They deep clean on a rotation every visit, use all of their own towels, chemicals, and supplies which are environmentally safe, leave a detailed report after each cleaning. Again ... our house looks much better and I can tell a difference when they are done compared to others we have used. read more

3 weeks ago- Decided to bite the bullet and hire a house cleaning service since my parents were coming into town from Jamaica and my place was a mess. I work full time and go to school in the evenings.. when I get home I am too tired to do a real deep cleaning so.... I googled it and I found WaloMaids and, while i thought there were a other options, I decided to go with them. I loved the idea of two people cleaning my home... the whole process was faster than I expected. They did a wonderful job on our home. I will definitely use them again!! read more
