I finally got the 2nd pair & the lens issue was fixed (see my previous review). I wore them for a bit but my everything was still lopsided & at times I couldn't even see clearly (especially at night, which is very dangerous), & and I was having headaches. So I went back to Stanton Optical. I talked to Stelios & told him what was going on. Turns out that the original person who did my classes, did not measure correctly so this caused the powers to be in the wrong places & this was causing my eyes strain, etc. So he measured the correct way and ordered the correct lenses. Unfortunately, when they came in; the lenses broke due to poor quality (and they had actually upgraded the quality of the lenses because of the issues I've been having). At this point, I decided to just go ahead with a whole different frame & try one more time. I got my new glasses yesterday. Apparently they are too big for my face because they keep sliding down and when I cleaned the the hell, this is not even charging lenses, they're popping out! I am totally over Stanton optical and will never recommend it to anybody! I should not have been going through these issues for 2 months now. Unfortunately for me, I am leaving today to go out of state for two weeks so I do not have time to go get the glasses adjusted. Once I get back, I will be requesting a refund and going somewhere else. But again, I want to say how grateful I am for the assistance & service that I received from Stelios.

The office submitted the visit for approval and was paid by my insurance in January 2024! Instead of refunding the $140 I overpaid, they didn't tell me anything. If I hadn't have come across the EOB I never would have known. I called the office and had someone refund the difference (over 3 months after they received the insurance payment! Not a good look...

We lived in Boerne for a few years and were always willing drive to see Dr. Swift for our exams. Three of my kiddos and me wear prescription glasses. My 15 year old in particular has a serious vision problem in one eye. She's been in glasses since she was three. We didn't get an official diagnosis and explanation of her vision problem til we started seeing Dr. Swift. She even explained that the school should be making accomodations for her. Giving her more reading time on test, on homework assignments that involved reading. Larger print papers etc. She writes a new letter to the school every year for us without asking. We never feel rushed, yet the office is always on time, well trained and well prepared. I've never once been pressed to get our frames and lenses there. They understand we are on a budget like so many of us are! But when it comes to a complete eye exam, Big Box stores just don't cut it... And Dr. Swift in not in business to get her family that big mega mansion on the hill...or the newest Esclade. It to provide for her family. It saddens me that during COVID regulations, people still think their emergency out weighs what the Government....not physicians, regulated. Their hands were tied in many cases. And they have lost months of income for not only themselves but their staff. And there are still regulations!
