I recently used Little Guys. Made the appointment with them about 4 days prior to the move. I had mostly furniture for them to move and some stuff to take to Goodwill. They sent two helpers, Leo and Kenneth. I would highly recommend them. There was some furniture that needed unscrewing- that was taken care off. I was living in a three story townhouse and they went up and down the stairs with furniture like it was nothing. They move quick and efficiently. No walls scratch and no furniture damaged. I would use them again for sure! read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND: 1) 4 packers were assigned, 2 showed and 1 was late. Things got quite hectic towards 430 quitting time despite movers coming at 8 am next day. 2) Brand new ceramic pots were scratched due to JAckson nesting them in one another. 3) N made it her job to sit and disassemble lamps--one was an authentic moroccan lamp that never intended to be taken apart and no parts were every found at unpacking.. I told her that that lamp does not come apart--but no she thought different and now hangers and top are gone. IRREPLACEABLE. Another lamp also taken apart now missing pieces is too aggravating and irresponsible. I know better to tape pieces to lamps and certainly know to check every bit of paper for hidden small pieces. IRRESPONSIBLE. DO NOT RECOMMEND. AAACK. And 2 OTT Lamps were left behind as they broke the bulbs (that are pulled out not screwed), so they DID NOT BRING THEM. WOW. WOULD GIVE NO STARS FOR THAT BEHAVIOR. PS at very end, the "found" a key mounting piece for another lamp. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH LAMPS--and has nothing to do with the bulbs. read more

This moving company does local moves, as well as long distance. The first time we attempted to book our long distance move, we waited until a week before the move and couldn't get a slot. They warned us beforehand, but I didn't heed their advice. Our bad. Now, we booked them for a local move. This time, we booked earlier! Ben & Braden arrived in time with a nice truck. They did a pre-inspection and got to work. LITTLE GUYS MOVING IS DIFFERENT. Every other moving company that we have used charges a fee, plus an hourly rate. Here, before the move you provide the contents and they quote you an exact price. I'm the end, the quoted price was EXACTLY what the bid was. Wow, no "juicing@ the bill. Also, we bought the contents insurance. It is reasonable and completely covers your contents. Otherwise, you are only covered by a few cents a pound as per law. They also wrapped the doorway to prevent door nicks, see pic. We recommend this company without any reservations. read more

Chris and his team were such hard workers. They came very well prepared with all the blankets and padding we needed, duct tape wrapped dollies (sp?) to cushion the move, and more awesome prep work. They handled everything with such care and grit and were all so friendly and kind. The culture of this company is also awesome. The group worked so well together and I was very impressed to see how they take care of each other. Other moving companies I've used get you to pay for X amount of workers for X many hours and I often saw these guys just so worn out to the extreme by the end of it. TLG charges by items moved so I was really happy to see them tag teaming w another group after the first group knocked a HUGE dent in this move. What an amazing team and company. Where to start?! They unassembled my tedious IKEA furniture, moved me into the THIRD FLOOR apartment (in 100+ degree weather), reassembled the furniture, and were so nice the whole time!! I dreaded this move until I found Little Guys Movers. NOTHING was damaged, the professionalism was 10/10, and I was even able to add a few more items on the day-of! I rarely get online to give such reviews for a company, but I was just blown away with how easy and great this moving experience was!! I 3000% recommend this moving company!! We used Little Guys Movers to move my Mom from her home in Wimberley to an assisted living facility in San Marcos. They showed up exactly on time and we're efficient and methodical in packing and moving her furniture and belongings. Leaving this for a friend. Not once, but TWICE they left behind items that needed to be moved. When she brought it to their attention, they threatened to sue her. She asked to speak to the manager and he finally contacted her. It was resolved, but the service was terrible. Find another company. read more

By the company's name, I thought tiny elves would be loading up my son's stuff. But no. Two tall, strong guys, Tommy and Austin, showed up and did a fantastic job. I knew when I saw one of them RUNNING down the stairs holding a queen size mattress over his head that we had found our go-to moving company. The rates are very fair. We moved the kid from a third floor apartment to another third floor apartment within the same complex and were charged $100 per hour + a $25 transist fee. After the first hour, they pro-rate anything under an hour. It took a little over 2 hours. Amazing job. read more

From the initial quote to the move to the follow up, this moving company was fantastic. The young men sent to move us were impeccably polite, thoughtful and professional. They moved antique furniture with great care, knowing how important those pieces especially were. They did an excellent job of packing our storage unit, which barely accommodated all our furniture - they made it work with no complaints. Prices were more than competitive. I've used Little Guy movers in the past, knowing they were reliable, friendly and fast! They did not disappoint me this time either. I had furniture in 2 different places and a last minute 3rd stop. Justin and his crew told me that was no problem and did not add on to the quoted estimate. They were very careful with my heavy items and it took them 2 1/2 hrs to move me into my new place. We recently moved our son to San Marcos for the upcoming school semester. As our luck tends to have it, anytime we drive to San Marcos it's cold and raining. This trip was no exception, with rain and near freezing temperatures. We really were worried this would impact our planned move date. We can't say enough good things about the 3-man crew sent out to do our move on Tuesday. They worked tirelessly in 100+ degree heat until the job was done half an hour earlier than expected! Moving is never fun, but Little Guys at least took some of the stress away. They were prompt, friendly, careful, and maintained a sense of humor on a very hot day while moving a houseful of furniture and boxes from San Marcos to Austin. They weren't the cheapest bid but the extra cost was well worth it considering my piano and several extremely heavy pieces arrived in perfect condition. Little Guys were so patient and flexible throughout a very stressful three day process. The price rate was based off of material moved. NO HOURLY RATES. The other companies I checked with would not disconnect appliances, or disassemble bunk-beds or etc etc etc... Little Guys do it all. The guys showed up early and stayed late until the job was done. They were very professional, careful, skillful and fun. A second truck with its moving crew were on the way back to the Office for quitting time and instead stopped by my home to help the crew onsite. Amazing.
