Even though I had to go back a couple of times to make some adjustments, they were always friendly and tried their best to make me happy. That's just my story, but I want to share about my mom's experience as well. I invited her from Armenia to see how our doctors can help her. She had severe complications after cataract surgery and couldn't see hardly anything with one of her eyes. She went to multiple doctors back home, but they couldn't help her. Our great doctor Alex Kilgore surgically recovered her vision on both eyes. Another great doctor Steven Rae prescribed her glasses for double vision which was the culmination of the story! My mom couldn't believe her own eyes! It is wonderful! Thank you, Kilgore Vision Center! Absolutely recommend it to everyone.

He is very kind and welcoming. He has a friendly smile and listens to you with respect. She just seemed like she hated her job and everyone that came into it. Made several unnecessary remarks about the condition of my broken frame and honestly just made me feel like I was stupid and unimportant. Then her co-worker asked what frame I'd be interested in having to which I responded "I'm not sure, probably something similar to the one I had." He then proceeds to pick my frame for me. Didn't even give me any options. A bit later he returns with my new glasses, puts them on me, and asks how they fit. I told him they were a bit tight and all he said back was "it just seems that way because of how terrible of a condition you let other pair get into. Too stretched out." Well okay then... They had to order trial contacts for me, and something happened where the trials did not come in until 5/10. They did give me a pair of contacts to wear until the trials came in, however, that pair is well over a month old now and has been giving me trouble for the last week or so. Pricing is also ridiculous! A contact lens exam wasn't covered by my insurance, so I paid full price of almost $120. I did have $200 through my insurance to spend on contacts, however, they charge way too much for those through the office and I ended up paying $50 more per box or $100 more than the price that is advertised on walmart.com and other competitor websites. I will never use them again and plan to go back to a family practice next time. If you have VSP, it is definitely not worth it to come here.

Scheduling the appointment took multiple calls, and made to feel as if I was inconveniencing them by calling to make an appointment. The day of my appointment was much the same, I understand there were only two assistants working in the optic center but just observing their interactions with customers, I wanted to get up and help some of these people myself to better their time here. As with many doctor appointments anywhere your are rushed in and out, not given much chance to ask questions, much less time to respond to doctor questions before being whisked away to the eye test. The Pros, the convenience of being in a Supercenter, and discount on contacts at checkout for Walmart associates, and some lower price frames compared to traditional optometrist.

Unable to find them, we called around for an optician and found Queen City. They were able to take our replacement order over the phone, asked me to text a copy of the prescription (which thankfully we had with us) and then drive in the pouring rain to Springfield. Within a hour we got to the store, picked out frames and then waited just 15 more United to get complete glasses. They were literally faster than the McDonald's next door! Great service and great expertise. Highly recommended.

Recently they told me my glasses would be completely covered but then they told me I needed $47 to get my glasses for $57 to have the mail to me and I live in the same city. The glasses that I got in August last year are missing rhinestones and when I tried to push the thing of the bridge of my nose the glasses broke in half. They will not replace the frames. Which are a cheap pair manufacturer product with inflated prices. I called them and told them today that because of treatment and decline in quality that I would not be coming back she said okay thank you have a nice day and hung up. She takes her time, is very honest and willing to answer and explain any questions you have. While I was there, a gentleman was in to get an exam. They actually told him they were not in network with his insurance plan and gave him suggestions of places that accepted his coverage. He was very appreciative that they did not just do the exam and charge him for it. They had his best interest at heart, and it showed. Great customer service!
