Set an appointment for 11:00 AM and ended up waiting over an hour in their reception area. Will avoid this optometrist going forward.

The doctor was fine, but everything else was awful! I was seen by the doctor on 3/18 and did not receive my contacts until today, 5/21. They had to order trial contacts for me, and something happened where the trials did not come in until 5/10. They did give me a pair of contacts to wear until the trials came in, however, that pair is well over a month old now and has been giving me trouble for the last week or so. Pricing is also ridiculous! A contact lens exam wasn't covered by my insurance, so I paid full price of almost $120. I did have $200 through my insurance to spend on contacts, however, they charge way too much for those through the office and I ended up paying $50 more per box or $100 more than the price that is advertised on walmart.com and other competitor websites. I will never use them again and plan to go back to a family practice next time. If you have VSP, it is definitely not worth it to come here. read more

It is my understanding that the vision center staff responsible for ordering glasses from the Optical Lab should follow the doctor's prescription and not question the doctor's decision or mislead the client who ends up wasting money on a second glasses prescription and their time. read more

If you want to catch covid this is the office to go to. The front desk girl, nurse and doctor all wore their masks wrong basically as chin straps. I had to remind every single one to put their masks on properly. I use to love going here but clearly they have no regard for their health or others. read more

I've been going here since we moved to NWA (almost two years ago). So far my experience has been good! LOCATION: It is located inside the Walmart Supercenter. Not to sound snobby, but I never thought I would go to a facility/doctor inside a Walmart haha, but I've been pleased thus far. WAIT: Most of the time I haven't had too wait too long. This past time, it was a Saturday and pretty busy, so the wait was longer. I would assume Saturday's would probably be busier. They don't take walk ins and usually you have to make your appointment a few weeks in advanced. CUSTOMER SERVICE: The people who work here have always been nice and helpful to me. Easy to talk to. VISION CARE: I have gone here for my routine check ups. They seem to be all up-to-date on all procedures and routine check ups. I've never had a problem and it has always gone smoothly. The physicians seem to know what they are doing and are well equipped for the job! I've asked a couple times about Lasik surgery and it sounds like they refer you to some awesome, intelligent doctors who know what they are doing. I feel secure in their referrals/suggestions. EYEGLASS/SUNGLASS ARE: The area to pick out eyeglasses/sunglasses is right next to the doctor's office area. Convenient to go over and get help with picking out some shades! I was able to find a cute pair for a very reasonable price. The women who work here are very friendly and helpful. They will tell you the truth if something looks good or not haha, which is essential to pick out a good pair of glasses or sunglasses. read more

Worst eye clinic I have ever been to. Do not go to them. This is your warning. I have been to Clinics in Walmarts before. My favorite eye doctor is actually in a Walmart in Kansas. These people are careless and frazzled. They do not schedule enough time per client so they are always running behind. They have once again messed up my contacts and I get to wait again. The whole group is incompetent. The receptionist can't hear when she's on the phone. No one can return a phone call. Don't bother leaving a message, they won't call you back. I will not be returning to this clinic. read more

The Doctor is very good at what she does, however the receptionist are very unprofessional and they do not care a bit about the patients. I received yearly check ups from Casey Eye Care throughout high school, and always left satisfied with the quality. My last visit was my first in over 2.5 years, but I was pleasantly surprised that my doctor remembered me. The cheery attitude of the staff and attention to service made the checkup seem as if only seconds had passed. Overall, I was as happy as anyone can be about going to visit the optometrist. Also, the doctor educated me on treating my astigmatism through a special contact brand. Something my prior optometrist failed to mention. I was surprised by how good Dr. Maris was. She was very kind and helpful and went to great lengths to ensure my contacts fit / worked as well as possible. The reason I gave this business 1 star is that A) the customer service provided by the ladies at the desk is absolutely horrendous, and B) their prices for contact lenses are terrible. Part of the problem is a fundamental flaw with the insurance system: your insurance often provides you a stipend (in my case $130) to spend on contacts for the year, and this stipend can't be used anywhere other than "in-network" providers. So the optometrist office knows that you have $130 that you HAVE to spend with them if you want to use the benefit, so they have no incentive to be competitive on price. This office charges $52 per box for Acuvue Oasys lenses which can be bought for $17 a box online! With free shipping! So in total, these guys tried to charge me $330 (after my $130 discount) for a year's supply of contacts that I could get online for about $140. Absurd... PLEASE don't be one of the chumps these people take advantage of to get rich. If you have $130 to spend through VSP, only spend the $130 with them (or better yet, another optometrist), and then buy the rest of your contacts online. I have used Walmart & Sam's independent optometrists for years and haven't had a bad experience, until now. They were late, disorganized and apparently don't realize that you can hear the entire lobby in the exam rooms. The assistant nearly poked me in the eye twice with the glaucoma puff test before I told her to stop. I was charged a contact lens fitting fee and my "fit" consisted of the doc handing me two boxes of lens and telling me to wear them for a week and see how they are. Doctor Rebbeca who was done the eyes exam for my kids was very nice and friendly but the receptionist was unprofessional, rude and looked uncooperative to answer your questions. She tried to rush home and seemed doesn't care about the customers service . I won't come back when I didn't feel like welcomed! read more

My family and I have used V vision for years, but that will be changing as of today. I have noticed their level of service has been declining over the past couple of years and today just proved that to be true without a doubt. I called them no less than 10 times this morning to see about scheduling an appointment, finally after over 2 hours of calling every 15 minutes someone finally answered. I explained to them that I think I may have scratched my eye and needed to see how soon they could get me in. Without being asked a single question about what was going on with my eye I was told that the Dr "is very busy" and that it would be the end of May before I could be seen!! Almost 2 months from now!! To been seen for an eye issue, not just a regular exam!! A couple of days out I could have understood, but 2 months is unexceptable!! Of course I can not wait 2 months to be seen so I called another local clinic, which I have never been to before to see how soon they could get me in. They talked to me about what was going on, scheduled an appointment for first thing Wednesday morning (2 days from now), added me to the cancelation list in case someone cancels an appointment before Wednesday morning AND said they would talk to the technician to see if she could squeeze me in sooner! Now that is what I call customer service!! And for someone that has NEVER been to their clinic before. My family and I will be changing eye care providers, effective immediately!! read more
