I REALLY like Dr Netzel but I am beyond sick of being treated like crap by businesses when I PAY money. I've always had good experiences at Dr Netzels but I was treated in a way that was absolutely unacceptable. I came in for my annual exam and to get glasses and contacts. About a week later I was able to go pick up my glasses. About two weeks after that my daughter had completely broken off one of the pieces that goes on top of your ear. I brought them in to see if they could fix them and they told me they couldn't but that they would have a replacement pair sent in, which I thought that was really nice because technically the warranty doesn't cover that. The nurse asked me if I wanted to take the damaged glasses or if I wanted her to take them. That is exactly what she said so my thought was they were going to be disposed. I took them for no reason in particular, just thought it would be easier. Thank god I didn't dispose of them. That is ALL that was said and I left the clinic. About a week later I get a call that my sunglasses where in. I told them I wasn't supposed to get sunglasses. They then had to send those back and reorder my glasses. Weeks went by and I had to reach out to be told the glasses were lost in transit and they would have to order me a new one. Mind you I had to call and when I called is when another pair was ordered. I guess if you don't call then you won't hear from them and another pair won't be ordered. Anyways, about a week later my glasses were finally in. I genuinely need glasses. I have contacts but they give me CRAZY headaches by the end of the day. So having glasses is a necessity. I was patient while I waited like two months for my glasses to be properly ordered. I never showed any frustration because I understand things happen. So I came on a Thursday night when i got off work but still had three errands to run and a meeting I had to get to by 5:45. I was in a huge rush and that was the only day I could find time to come that week. I walk in and the nurse that works the glasses station asked if I was here to look at my frame. I said no?? Cuz it made no sense to me why I would just come in to look at a frame that I had already purchased so she went and got my frames and then proceeded to tell me I had to bring in the old frames so they could put the lenses in the new frame. Now to some people, that might have been common sense but to me, I had no idea that was the process. I was extremely frustrated by this point and started to ask why I wasn't advised that I would need to bring in my old frames on the numerous occasions that I had spoke to them. The nurse told me she thought it was common sense. At this point, I was PISSED. Another nurse working in the glasses station walked up. I told her what a shit show this whole process has been and she proceeded to argue with me that it wasn't their fault. I was really annoyed that another nurse came over, not to rectify the situation, but to give back up to the other nurse I was talking to. I asked if anyone was even going to apologize for the situation instead of just argue with me that it's not their fault and that is when the nurse looked at me with this sour puss look on her face and so rudely said "For What?!". I thought I was going to completely lose it at this point. I started to list off ALL of the issues I've had with this situation since day 1 that I came in to get my glasses fixed. They just kept saying "K that wasn't our fault". I asked them if it really burned their ass to have to apologize to a CUSTOMER for innadequite service they have provided. The nurse that had come over to give back up to the other nurse said "No it doesn't, I'm sorry your upset, I'm sorry that this wasn't our fault". I stopped her and just asked if I could take the frame, go somewhere else to get the lenses put in and bring their old frames back. They said no, of course no surprise there. I noticed that a nurse behind the desk had been staring at me the whole entire time this conversation was going on, which is so rude in itself, but I looked at her and she just stared right back. Didn't take her eyes off me, didn't offer an apology or anything. She just stared. Which might not sound that rude but I had been talking to these nurses for a good 5 minutes and this nurse was just watching like my ginuine frustration was entertaining her. So at this point all but one nurse that was in there was rude in some form or fashion. So I said I'm going to bring the old frames back and I expect a FULL refund for all of it. The nurse said "that's up to the doctor" which again no surprise there. I talked to the doctor who was SO NICE and apologetic about it. I told him my issue and he said the nurses told him they were very apologetic which was funny to me since I got a "What for" when I asked for an apology. That sums up my experience which will be my last, Unfortunately, because like I said, I really like Dr Netzel. read more
