Your call is directed overseas and they will not put you through to the store where you are doing business; I really don't like this. I have been to eye doctors across the entire US, and this is one of the most advanced non-surgical facilities I've ever stepped foot in. If they wanted to scam anybody, they could've done exactly what every other doctor has been doing to my son for years. It turns out my son isn't supposed to be wearing glasses at all due to his specific combination of eye conditions. This doctor could've easily let us continue paying for glasses and contacts that were never necessary, like every other doctor has. They chose honesty instead.

So here I am, out of lenses and without a prescription and a thousand miles from my regular optometrist. So here's Wal-Mart to the rescue. Or at least, here's the optometrist attached to the Wal-Mart Vision Center in "Store number one." And even better, she could see me (pun!) right now. A thorough examination, including the air puffing thingie and the extremely bright light to look at the back of my eyes. I'm in good eye health! Hooray! Yes, they have a sample pair of lenses for my prescription that popped right in. My prescription hasn't changed in a year, but things seem even more clear than they did before. And for $85, I have a new prescription that I can use with any mail-order contact lens provider I like. Or I can get them here, though you're a bit more expensive.
