This place incapsulates the industrial/modern/vintage style that is taking hold all over the country and I think it is way ahead of its time here in Springfield. This reminds me of a place you would find in downtown Nashville. A lot of people would call this a "hipster" store but I think that would be too broad of a term to describe this place. There is a masculinity about this place that exudes the essence of the hard working industrial American male that we all wish we were more like. What I'm really trying to say is if Paul Bunyan or John Henry were still alive, this is where they would do business. The store offers quite a few locally made goods from shirts, to candles, to soaps, to even hand made furnishings from local craftsmen. If you haven't stopped by Grayson Home yet, you are missing out. The person working gave me several different stories. Saying the family came and then told me "Well we have an ebay guy that comes and takes the better stuff." A complete waste of time and very shady way to advertise sales. I will not be going to anymore after this experience. Estate Sale 101 is don't sell the items advertised before the sale starts!
