I randomly got a half day at work and they were able to get us in same day! Even as a New Patient! So a great convenience & thank y'all for doing that!! Not only did the staff reach out to me with a better way to have my insurance cover the visit, they walked us through what our insurance did/did not cover for prescriptions. I also get so nervous about going to the Doctors and tend to ask a lot of anxious questions. Everyone on staff took the time to answer my questions, even the Doctor, and break down anything I might be curious about no matter how small it was. Overall, sincerely just an awesome place with great people who are willing to take the time to help each individual and make you feel comfortable.

I was sad when many vision insurance changed and I could no longer go there. After Walmart I tried Lens Crafters which I hated! Comparing this place with both of those places, the doctor is way friendlier. They have convenient times for appointments. They're cheaper than Lens Crafters, but not as cheap as Walmart... or maybe it's just that they don't have as large of a selection as Walmart. One thing they do differently is that you don't look at the wall to find your own glasses. You give them some information on what you'd like, then they bring you a bunch of glasses to try. I can't decide if I like this better or not but I did get glasses that I like and I didn't take nearly as long picking them out since I didn't have to find them on my own. Overall I'd say I like this place over most Eye Doctors and would recommend them to anyone.

When I called to resolve it, I was told the call would be reviewed and even that they knew which employee made the promise. Instead of owning up to the misinformation, they sent the bill straight to collections. I later learned from my insurance company that Midwest Eye Center is not even in network. At one point the insurance we had...once covered this. I should have verified this myself and not taken them at their word -- I own that. But their staff repeatedly gave me incorrect information and failed to disclose something as important as being out of network. I have since removed both myself and my husband from their patient list. This office is careless, misleading, and refuses accountability.
