Well, it's a Walmart. They have the usual cheap crap at the usual cheap prices. They had what I wanted, so I am happy with that.

Better on produce, canned goods, dairy, frozen, beverages, deli all if it. They even have household items sections. One of the biggest noticeable differences is on coffee, most stores its over $10 to $12 or more a pound, not here its $6-$7 bucks for the same amount. The prices are reasonable. The variety and prices of their produce draws me to this store. They have a bakery section with delicious breads. This location has a great deli meat and cheese section as the others. I noticed the seafood section isn't as extensive. They have a great selection of snacks, chips and nuts. I've always said if you are planning a party, Lidl is great place to get snack/party food and items for a charcuterie board. I was asked if I needed assistance by a couple of workers. I appreciated the good customer service. While I was checking out, the cashier informed me of the price of item that he thought I may not have been aware of. I was thankful. Checkout is always a bit of stress for me because you have to bag your items yourself, but it is easier to just put your items in your cart and pull your cart to the side to bag after checking out. Don't forget to return your cart Don't forget to bring your reusable bags. They also sell them at the counter if you have forgotten yours.

We lived in Florida for years and so we know, Publix subs are the best so we headed here and parked. This is one of the very new refurbished Publix layouts with the sub station right at the front. Super easy and I had great service today from the sub crew. Unwrapping them ten minutes later and they were, of course, awesome. Fresh bread. Crisp veggies. Made exactly as requested and absolutely delicious! We also split a big can of Arizona Iced Tea and Publix still sells these for 99 cents. How can you NOT love Publix? If you are in the outside parking area, you look up and you see the Publix is on what appears to be the second floor so it's a little confusing as to how to get to the store itself. There are stairs if you want to go that route or you can take an elevator which is also located on that side parking area that takes you directly into the grocery store. They also have an inner parking area underneath Publix with more parking area and there is an elevator there as well. The idea is that you can shop and then take a large elevator that can accommodate your grocery cart for your trip on the way down to your car. Other than that, it's set up like any other Publix grocery store. I came in primarily to get pet food, but it's hard to resist the other items in the store. I got hung up looking at the delicious food in the bakery and deli area. I ended up getting bread, fresh made asiago bagels and a homemade cheese bread. Oh yea, I almost forgot the pet food! There is a small section but some good choices for kitty or canine. I noted The store is clean and the staff are friendly. After checkout, I made my way to this huge elevator that holds two or three carts so no problem getting my grocery cart in there for my trip downstairs to get to my car. A little confusing but once you get the hang of it, you're good to go.

I was at a self checkout register and like every self checkout register does, kept yelling at me about "not placing the item in the bagging" even though I was and after 3 times of it doing that to me it started to flash and said "help is on the way" and I must of stood there for about 5 minutes while my 4 year old is having a meltdown in the cart wanting to get out and screaming crying, I watched 3 different workers look right over at me and see my register was flashing and needed help and proceeded to look away. From standing there for so long the computer just overrided itself and allowed me to continue somehow and thankfully didn't need to keep waiting for a worker to come by because WHO KNOWS when that would have been! The first thing that stood out about this store was the beer den my husband was quick to find comfort in there while I shopped, and when I got done paying for my items, I joined him for a glass of wine. The lady behind the bar was very nice. She gave us samples of popcorn, which I did indeed buy a bag and I do have to say this is the best experience going grocery shopping I've ever had.

I went back out into the parking lot near where I parked and grabbed the only two carts that were in the staging area--one for me and one for her. When using the self check-out, (so I can double bag) Every Single Time for the Past TWO YEARS, whenever I buy Any Other Fruit Other Than Bananas, the scanner fails and I "need" assistance. When I asked the employee about this after the scanner Failed a Second Time, he told me that I am taking too much time between scanning and putting the stuff into the bag--which is utter garbage. One of the items that failed was grapes--which I have learned to expect--and just for fun, when I got home, I realized that when HE "fixed" the scanner, I was Charged Twice. There is No Way to know how many times this has happened--or how often it happens to everyone. Their scanners constantly fail, they always run out of carts, and usually, the people at the door are more interested in standing in the way and staring at their phones than getting carts or "assisting" customers who "need" it. Do They Expect Us to Carry All That Crap On Our Heads? What has Happened to the Food Lion on Peters Creek Parkway? Are they not paying their employees enough, so they have simply given up? Do they underpay managers, so they can monitor Exactly Nothing when all of these stupid mistakes occur? Are members of their Board simply DRUNK all the time? FIX THAT STUFF. IT'S NOT HARD. IT'S.
