Worst…read morecustomer service I have ever experienced. 1 worker around, she was on the phone, couldn't tell me if they had something, couldn't tell me where to find anything, would not help me because she wanted to walk around the store talking to her friend on the phone. The store needed restocked there was entire empty shelves. When she rang me out multiple things rang up a different price than marked and she would say "then don't get it". Rude. At one point another worker came out from the back. Said if I could not find it in the store then they don't have it and to get it on line. I will not be going back

This almost results in excessivly long lines as the cashiers spend at least 5-10 mins per checkout waiting on a price check. Also the rudest employee base I have ever seen, they fight and cuss. The lady in front of me came to my defense and said she was wrong. The customer became belligerent and it was quite embarrassing when all we wanted to do was checkout and go about our day. The cashier was clearly uncomfortable yet no one from the store's staff felt like they should step in. She should have been asked to leave or at the very least, go to another register. Other locations seem to have better security.

I ventured in (due to an e-mailed coupon received from my being a member of their Big Rewards program) to simply shop picture frames for my new apartment and to my surprise the store's shelves were stocked with incredible products ranging from food to decent, quality interior decor! But it wasn't the store, alone, that impressed me, it was the exceptional customer service received from Cheryl, an extremely congenial, conversational and charismatic cashier! Not only did she apply my coupon which brought me in the store in the first place, she added another discount coupon that was expiring that very day, bringing my complete purchase total down to darn near half-off! Service like THIS (received from Cheryl) speaks volumes to a man like me because so many neighboring department stores are staffed with unhelpful and unkind employees with more than enough attitude. And who needs that?! Well... that's not at all the case inside this particular Big Lots. There was only 1 register open. However, two Gabes employees were standing behind the one cashier having a chat. The quality of most items I'd say are fair at best. I went to a manned register today and the process was quick and easy. I usually check out at the self check out area but discovered it had been moved. I was curious to know what my experience would be and I was not disappointed. The cashier was kind and greeted me with a smile and warm hello. We were in and out. The parking was the usual but not too bad for a Friday morning. While there, I also picked up a 35 piece set of food storage containers for $7.99! They will definitely come in handy. Overall, glad the foot traffic wasn't so heavy and I could browse a bit today. The scanners at the entrance are a nice addition. I only wish the app had more to offer like some of the other wholesale stores in the area, but overall a quick and easy trip.

All I had to do was try on the bra and exchange because I'm having a sizing issue since losing 40+ lbs. I even let one of the measure me earlier in the week And with the size they came up with did not work so I bought it back to exchange for different size but it was a problem for the person who rang me out today, I never want her to ring my items up again. I don't even want communication with her anymore D/T lack of Customer Service Skills & patience. I am going to find out her name and report her to corporate. If you're not happy doing your job then you need to find a job that you're happy doing. I'm not gonna let the experience I had with one sales rep ruined my shopping experiences with this women's clothing chain, because there are several Nice & Friendly Sales Rep who work there.
