A presumably mentally unstable customer in line began an argument with me, saying that I was talking about her to the lady in front me. The lady in front of me came to my defense and said she was wrong. The customer became belligerent and it was quite embarrassing when all we wanted to do was checkout and go about our day. The cashier was clearly uncomfortable yet no one from the store's staff felt like they should step in. She should have been asked to leave or at the very least, go to another register. There's a Starbucks inside this one. Target is one of those places where I can have some retail therapy. I love shopping for summer dresses and sandals. I needed hair products but I ended up with much more as usual. Thank God I have my red card to enjoy additional savings on some of the items. There's also an Ulta Dept at this location, but I don't think staff member was working during the hours I went. Cosmetics / beauty is something I need guidance with because there's a lot of options and I get overwhelmed. They also had one of my favorite rosé wines (Josh) on sale so I couldn't resist to grab a bottle. read more

On an early first Friday of 2023 my friend and and I came in Target to grab a few items for work and before I knew it we were welcomed to the "Black History Collection" that is already out at this particular location. Note - it's not scheduled to come out until, Sunday. We shopped to say the least. We didn't walk pass any employees that didn't say good morning to us. This was by far one of the coolest Target's I have ever been in. This is located in a shopping center and at first glance, it seems like a normal ole Target. When you walk in though, you can already see a difference. It has been revamped and is very nicely organized. Two of the main things that I noticed that I had not seen in any of my local targets, were first an Ulta inside. Very similar to what JC Penny does with Sephora. They sell their best selling brands and products and honestly it was pretty awesome. The second thing they had that I had not noticed at other Targets was vinyl. They had a whole row of vinyl in the back where they have their entertainment goods. Both of these items, coupled with how clean and neat the store was, made me jump on Yelp and rate them. read more

This review is really geared at the target pick up crew. I have used it many times since Covid and I can't believe how amazing/ efficient it is. You get four days to pick it up once you put in your order. When I leave I put in my app I'm on the way and when I pull in they are already heading out. Amazing. Every employee I've met has been so friendly. As someone who is on the go a lot, the extra step they take to come out to people's cars so efficiently (and they did this kid course before covid) is very appreciated. Great job! read more

I have never been a complainer you can look at my other reviews. I'm really not a rude person. I went to the target I always go to today because I'm a student at Guilford college and it's the closest one to me and all the self checkouts were closed no big deal right? wrong. I pick up whatI need to buy which by the way why is a charging block $43? but that's besides the point. So like I said all the self checkouts were closed. There were only two registers open and here lines. Meanwhile, a bunch of target employees were just wandering around aimlessly doing nothing and they could've been working at registers. I noticed Man go to self check out that was open near the slushy machines that never work and I followed him and he was waiting for like 20 minutes for this employee to come help him because he wanted to take something off of the register and she was just on her phone completely ignoring him so I had to walk over to get her and she wasn't even paying attention to take the tags off of his shirt. If you've been to one Target, you've been to them all. Most are great. If doing a price comparison, you'll find that Target has a slight markup on most items. The have a good assortment of items, making it a great one-stop shop. Buy some clothes, furniture, motor oil, and a 70 inch TV all in one stop. Oh, you need milk and bread? They have that too! What can't you buy from Target? Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know what I thought about this particular location. Just a heads up. As of 01/20/2022 this store and all other Greensboro Target stores are not doing curbside pickup. Extremely unfortunate as we are at the peak of the pandemic and many people cannot go into a store due to quarantines. I'll update the review if this changes. read more

This store is a disgusting. Clothing lying all over the floor, shelving in disarray. Looks like a tornado blew through it. It's been like this for weeks. Management is poor. More and more Target stores are closing throughout the country and this one will probably be next. So sad how our nation has deteriorated in the last two years. read more

The security lady basically made it obvious she thought we were stealing and also followed us around the store... I was holding my receipt out for her to check it if she wanted and she went behind me and asked the cashier to pull up my receipt. My sister called her out on it and she lied about it and "wowed" us. I understand the job description, but it felt very patronizing as a customer. read more

Do you remember when everybody shopped at Walmart? Everything you could need under one roof. But they lacked customer service. And Target was born. Clean, well-organized stores with friendly and capable service. Now Target is going the way of the corner grocery. Shopped there today. I had some of the rudest encounters with employees since Toys-R-us! Two employees stood at the entrance to an aisle chatting. They were blocking my way and could not have not noticed me unless they are blind. Asked a different employee where the Caesar dog food had been moved to and he said he didn't know. And went back to taking something off the shelves. Stephanie at the register was clearly unhappy with her job and made sure it showed. Watch out, Target! Remember Walmart. read more

This is a location that I have been going to for years. If you are familiar with Target, then you know that they have high quality products at good prices. For those who aren't familiar with Target, they basically have a little bit of everything. This location has clothes, technology, some appliances, a food section (including refrigerated food), school supplies, and so much more! This location also always has a friendly staff, and most of them have a good understanding of the products to help you know what's best to get. If you're looking for a little bit of everything, Target is a great place to start! read more

Target company is a master of merchandising spin. They tend to take the cheapest product similar to the model your looking for and sell for the as much markup as possible. Thats fine but for me Walmart offers a more honest value, more bang for the buck. Their assemble it your self furniture is overpriced for disposable grade furnture you have to assemble at home. I usually don't review the large chain stores but I have to say that this Target location is by far the best in Greensboro. Everything at New Garden is so fresh and so new. I also think that this Target is one of the larger ones. The layout of the store is great with a consistent feel to the flow and there is a Starbucks at the front so that you can get your coffee fix while shopping. I also like the surroundings here. You can spend all day in this vicinity and visit numerous stores from Bed Bath and Beyond to The Fresh Market to Bath & Body Works and the list goes on..... Hopefully more will come to this area. read more

This is my favorite Target in Greensboro. The store has a nice layout and it doesn't always feel so crowded like some of the others. Really though, I'd like to give props to Target for partnering up with Greensboro Police for their Shop With A Cop program. Greensboro Police Union sponsors 100 children at Christmastime, and officers shop with the kids. What a way to give back to the community and let people see police in a different light. The program has been held at this particular Target for the past few years, and all the employees really get into it. I love a store that gives back to the community. read more

My favorite Target in Greensboro! For quite a few reasons! They have the new shopping carts! the fancy ones withe the holes! The exterior is so outstanding looking! It looks very modern with glass panels all near the entrance and is in Jefferson Village, right at The Fresh Market and Michaels. I walked into Target (cart full of my baby and boxes) originally to return some of my sister and brother in law's wedding gifts. They were very helpful in getting the returns on to Target gift and merchandise cards, despite me not having my phone on me, and also not having my sister and brother in law's wedding registry login. After finishing shopping, I returned to my car and placed everything in the vehicle and shut the door, not realizing all of the doors were locked My vehicle was inaccessible to myself and my seven month old baby, now stranded outside. I returned to Target and to the returns desk to ask to borrow a phone, which the employees gave me right away. I was able to get a hold of my husband, who was at work, and he was able to contact our insurance to have someone come to help me unlock the vehicle. In the meantime, my little girl had blown her diaper, and I had no way to fix it because all of her diapers, wipes, new outfit were in the locked vehicle. I didn't even have my wallet to purchase new ones. So I mentioned to the employee that I would be in the Target bathroom, cleaning her and her outfit up, in case my husband called back. The employee asked for her size, and while I was holding and cleaning my baby in the bathroom sink, she came with a whole pack of size two diapers and wipes, telling me it was no problem. I was moved by her kindness. Short, red hair and I believe her name was Kerri. While in the bathroom, a woman commented on my baby and asked if I needed anything, and I explained our predicament. She offered to hold her while I finished cleaning her outfit. After I'd changed her diaper and put her bib back on (naked baby with just a diaper and bib), I returned to the Target counter, to Kerri, the Target employee again for her kindness. While I spoke to her, the woman from the bathroom proceeded to hand me a Target gift card for $25, and told me if I didn't use it, to pay it forward to someone who could. Just 20 minutes later, Kerri informed me that the technician arrived to unlock our car, and we thanked her again before leaving. I just wanted to share this, because I was touched by the kindness of both Kerri the Target employee and the sweet army mom who wanted to help another mother in need. read more

I've been a customer of this pharmacy for several years, and it's the best and most personable pharmacy I've ever used. Pharmacists Chris and Ron, and their staff, greet me by name and go out of their way to honor requests. They recently collaborated with a Target pharmacy in Austin (thank you, Carissa and staff) while I was traveling, coming to my rescue by providing a much-needed prescription. This is the best Target in Greensboro by far. It clean, well organized, has great customer service, and the parking is not a hassle at all. It also seemed well stocked in both the grocery and department areas, though I do feel the selection of furniture was lacking in comparison to other stores. The wait time was also impressive. I came here on a busy Saturday afternoon, and most of the registers were open, which made checking out a cinch. Even the popcorn served at the Cafe seemed to be better than what can be gotten at the other locations. I always try to come to this Target due to the friendly staff and how organized the store is. This is definitely the best Target in Greensboro. It's located in a beautiful shopping center with surrounding shops and restaurants that is beautiful to walk around in during the summer. The Starbucks located within the Target is also one of the best in the city, with the staff being wonderful and friendly. I go out of my way to come to this Target, love it! read more

Went to start hitting the list for school supplies, and majority of the items needed had a known name brand as well as a pretty solid, inexpensive target brand. Definitely the best Target location around. The Lawndale location is closer to home, but I'm willing to drive an extra few miles to this one for a much more relaxing shopping experience. I knew right away I was in a better place when the first thing I saw inside was a Starbuck's instead of a greasy hot dog & sandwich counter. People's kids aren't running all over, shoppers talk quietly instead of yelling across the store and don't stand around blocking the way, and even the staff seem more relaxed and less harried. Shelves and displays are kept neat and tidy, and more importantly, are kept stocked, so I seldom find that they're out of what I need. The parking lot isn't a madhouse, either. read more
