I left a 5 star review 7 years ago when Lonnell was the manager. I had been back a couple of times since that review. He was the manager then as well. Because of those positive experiences I returned in April again. Preston was now the manager. At first he was very helpful. UNTIL I purchased the furniture. I was told terms of the payments that differed from the final result when signing the agreement. I let that go without much thought because overall I was happy with my purchase. Then came the delivery and there were problems from beginning to end. Preston assured me he would assist me until everything was resolved. He did not! I am STILL waiting for a refund on my delivery, as well as for someone to even think to offer compensation for the almost 2 months of aggravation I have had to deal with at this point! Preston is very polite but doesn't follow up or follow through! I have continued to leave messages and texts through his work number and I have now decided to leave this review! It's a shame because I love this store and had planned to continue to return but if this is what I have to deal with it's absolutely not worth it! As a manager he should have the ability to reach out to whoever he needs to if someone is not doing as they said they would in another department. I didn't like the quality of their furniture. I didn't buy anything. I went onto other stores to see what they had.

The shopping process was easy with no forceful pushing from the store employees. The family I was helping out was very happy with the products they ordered. After signing the contract with Ashley HO, I had to go back to the store a day later and I ran into Preston (Assistant Manager) who was super awesome in helping out with the extra needs we had. It was very impressive how friendly the staff was and even better how quickly Preston solved a problem for the family I was helping out. Preston, thank you for the extra effort you put in, because people don't typically go the extra mile to help others when it is not serving their best interest at all. You did just that. You have no idea how much a positive attitude to our problem meant to us. I hope that your bosses will appreciate your presence at that store. Good luck in the future :-) read more

Worst experience in my life! Do not go to this place! Elton Grimes was our sales associate. He was a slickster! He ordered us a plain sectional, and we had ordered ]2 motorized left and right armchairs and motorized armless chairs. We didn't get that get. We get a call the day before stating our furniture would ns delayed about 3 weeks. Mind you by what Elton told us it would be the delivered at the end of that week. So what did we do? We moved our old furniture downstairs, so nowhere to sit until the furniture came. 3 weeks come, and we get a call saying the furniture is damaged! I am furious at this moment. They tell us they can not even begin to give us a date to when that piece will be in. At this point, I go on the reviews and low and behold. There are numerous reviews complaining!!! Should have gone to YELP before placing my feet into the GREENSBORO ASHLEY OUTLET! Called Customer Service numerous of time's and no help. Finally, a lady called to apologize and offer to give us a piece at no charge but we declined and told them we couldn't trust them anymore!! So unprofessional! read more

The delivery guys were amazing! They had our new furniture in our house in less than 30 minutes. They were also early which was amazing! Most places say 12-5 delivery time and show up at 7. We were between 9-12. They arrived 45 minutes before scheduled! They were super polite and friendly! If I could give more stars I would! Also, we were told we would only be getting 2 pieces delivered, but they deliver all but 1 piece! Amazing place to shop! read more

I placed an order in December. I still have not received word on when my order will arrive. I called the store today for someone to rudely say "I'll look it up when I have time. What's your name and phone number? I'll have to call you back in 10 minutes." Followed by a CLICK of being hung up on. This is NOT customer service and the amount of money paid for furniture that is still not here is ridiculous. I would not recommend to ANYONE and I'll actually support Rooms to Go, Colfax and Lay-Z-Boy over this company. Outlet or not. read more

I was lied to by Steadman completely about my delivery time and I wish I would've went somewhere else, because at least the reps were honest with me. He told me a time frame and when I called to check on the delivery, I was told there was a note in the account saying something different. This is just POOR business and I will not be returning work with the rep or to this store. I understand there are delivery delays but don't lie to customers for a sale. It's not right. read more

#1 ms.daisha is just looking to get a damn check. doesn't care about her customer service whatsoever. bought a bedroom set and was telling her how we didn't want the mattress or the box spring and says "oh well taking that off doesn't effect the price that much" when indeed it took off $500. #2 someone free my boy Roy. they expect him to lift and help customers load everything all by HIMSELF. he is literally CARRYING the whole store himself. #3 while he was single-handedly helping us every female employee just stood around gossiping like we are in highschool. #4 once daisha got her commission she was out of sight. didn't have another customer to tend to. she just dipped after everything was signed & stood w/ the other female employees watching us & Roy struggle. I purchased a living room suit as a gift to my son back in April. To date, we are still waiting on a crucial piece to complete the living room. No one at the store seems to care and I keep getting the same old rhetoric "you're at the top of the list" When I ask for verification that they are following up on my delayed order, they can't give it to me, they won't tell me when they last followed up on the order and they won't give me any information so that I can do their leg for work them. Additionally, I have asked to speak with a Manager numerous times and keep getting the same ole blow off. I would not recommend this store to anyone! read more

A few years ago I came to Ashley Home store and purchased a sofa and a set of tables for my living room. I had several issues with getting the items delivered to my home on time and was given multiple delivery dates two of which were not met. Recently, I decided to look for more tables to match the set I had purchased here previously. Reluctantly, I visited their website and found the other options available and noticed that they were on sale. To deliver and assemble the the item would have been $99 and to have it simply delivered would have been $59. I called the store to see if I can pick up the item instead of having it delivered and they said sure but I would have to pay the price quoted online plus the delivery fee even though it wasn't being delivered to my home. The representative called this double-dipping. I don't think she realized what she was talking about as that does not mean double-dipping. I've never heard of something so ridiculous in my life. I should have stuck with my initial reservations about purchasing again from Ashley Home Furniture Outlet. Never again. read more
