We were able to take both mattresses, three mattress protectors, and a new pillow all home with us when we left. Cory (the owner) provides excellent customer service, and isn't pushy. He took time to educate us by explaining the advantages and disadvantages of the various types of mattress available, which allowed us to select the best mattress for our needs. He went above and beyond by meeting us after we got off work, on our schedule to complete the sale. Their prices are SO MUCH BETTER than national chains, and their quality is excellent. We have literally saved THOUSANDS of dollars by buying our beds here. If you want a store with a lot of fluff or a dog and pony show- this is not it. Their store is very clean, and very simple. No extra frills- just simple and straightforward. They also had at least 20 different test displays of various mattresses, which made our decision even easier. Their in stock inventory was impressive. Items that were not in stock had relatively short lead times. They also offer a handful of carpeting and flooring needs. We got a few ideas for projects down the road. It was nice to be able to support a local business, and know that our purchase was going to an individual, versus a large chain. Issue is the purchase after Thanksgiving included a free set of sheets. Didn't expect that but it was a nice benefit. However after filling out the forms I heard nothing, so in late January I called the store which referred me to the cooperate customer service. Once I got hold of someone they checked the order number and told me that my sheets would go out in two weeks. Here it is March and I just called again only to find out they won't ship until April 1st. So in another month when I call will they tell me "April Fools" it was only a joke? The sheets are not really even that important except in principle now ... a promise is a promise ... and a lie is well ... Good people at the Battleground store but don't buy based on anything you can't see or get at the store. Corporate will not follow up on any promised offers from my experience. UPDATE: After the post by the manufacturer below ... I contacted them. As a result the sheets showed up today (5-Mar-15) via FedEx ... shipped overnight. I appreciate the quick service and response from their business manager. So I changed the rating to four stars ... One off for the initial hassle.

Please, please - before you sign ANYTHING with this company, make sure you know exactly what you are getting. Make them show you the items, take pictures, record their answers. No one at Mattress Warehouse would help us and they all conspired to tell a story that was not true. The bases were switched from the one I was shown and had explained to me to another base. After contacting the store and the regional manager, they all had a story lined up to cover their mistake. I have recently had surgery and I needed to get a new mattress with a lower base. I didn't really care to get another adjustable base but was told that it was free and it could be height adjusted. We made it clear to the salesperson - multiple times - that we needed a lower base than they were showing us. No problem, she said. It can be adjusted using the segments on the legs. As a matter of fact, when the delivery people bring it out, they will happily adjust the legs for us. We were shown how it could be adjusted and were shown the wireless remote. We were never told that the base we were shown was not going to be the one we received. When the bed came, the base was not what we had expected. It was way too high for me to be able to get into. So, now I have a $3600 bed that is basically useless to me until I can find a base that works for us. After speaking with the district manager - Suze Cane - I was told that I had refused the base that we had been shown at the time of purchase. This is far from the truth. I would never have approved the purchase of something I couldn't even use. I would, however, have paid extra for something I could use. Then I was told they would send replacement legs that were shorter and would make the bed usable. The legs cannot be exchanged. I was just told that to try to get rid of me. They never sent the legs, never returned my calls regarding this, and I was basically called a liar by the store employees and the manager. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

The employees are helpful and honest, and most importantly (to me) they don't follow you around. They just let you shop around & come to them with any questions. A lot of other furniture stores I've been to, employees follow you and constantly ask if you need help.
