I love that they will price match and guarantee the lowest prices. The store is huge and offers a fantastic selection of different types and styles of flooring. You will definitely find something that suits your taste. With that said, I will tell you why the two stars. Finding someone to help you on the floor is very difficult, and if you do, they are not very helpful. It seems they are in a rush and don't have the time or energy to help you. Checking out took about twenty minutes because they only had two registers going. At least they were very friendly. I don't know if it's like this all the time, hope not, but the selection of floors will bring me back for my next project because they are the biggest in the triad! read more

We are in escrow for our first house in NC and we need flooring for the new digs so we are looking around for it. Floor & Decor has a commercial and I thought it would be a good place based on the "actual " customer statements. Guess what they were accurate and they certainly have a huge selection and good prices. They have a variety of flooring and other things that honestly we weren't looking for, but came away with a good top choice and that was good quality and an excellent price. Wow! This was a true flooring show room. It was huge with so many affordable options. The staff were extremely nice and knowledgeable. They were not pushy either which I appreciated. Hard to choose which one we wanted since they are so stocked with options. Not just vinyl or wood flooring but also tiles and fixtures and vinyl tiles. It was Disneyland of flooring and tile. We are still pricing out flooring but we've been to 4 other places and this one is still top of the list for us. When we come back to purchase and they install it..I'll update my review. We stopped by on a Saturday morning. Was concerned it may be crowded but we did not encounter a crowd. We actually didn't see hardly anyone as far as staff went. I had to go back up front and ask the cashier a question because we did not see any clerks anywhere on the floor. Be advised that anything you buy has to be hauled by YOU !!! They offer delivery but it's expensive and done by a third party. We needed tile and flooring for a new home build. Found a few patterns that we liked. But honestly Home Depot and Lowe's have tons of flooring available online and they will deliver for FREE. We may go back and get one particular tile that I liked. But we would have to rent a truck if we bought it all here and get it back to where our build is. read more

Every time I walk into this store someone greets me and asks me what I need help with. I am not used to this in the other home improvement stores. I know these days are different, due to work force issues, and post panedemic, but these folks still get a 100% for customer service. From the cashiers to the floor staff to the department managers. So many other places act like it is a bother if you have to ask a question but not at floor and decor. David Powers is especially helpful in the floor department and he really knows his stuff. He is so patient and so very helpful about finding the samples and talking to you about the products. I was scheduled to pick up an order on a Sunday but things changed so we had to move the pick date for Saturday of that same week. When we showed up they where swamped with customers picking up their order. Mrs. Daniel took care of organizing every crew member to move the orders out quickly and efficiently! So quickly I might add that while she was taking care of other customers, she had other crew members picking out our order. I've been Googling "tile for a porch", for 2 weeks and I will tell you this: Floor and Decor has the most user friendly site out of them all! The search feature really lets you drill down to what you want. Their prices are SO much better than the big box stores and their selection is huge. They have calculators that give you project pricing and the quantity of tiles and how much grout you'll need. Of course, I wanted to actually see and hold the tile because seeing it in person is key. So here's the next most important thing: they have an actual store with huge stock and a selection of EVERYTHING you will need AND they are open late and on Sat! You wouldn't believe the number of smaller businesses that are only open until 5:00 and are closed all weekend! My husband and I went to the Bridford Pkwy store today. Our in-store experience was phenomenal. At the front door they have a map so you know where to go. Although, we ended up walking the whole store because it was that awesome! They have sample boards for each tile. The boards have multiple tiles so you get a better idea of how it will look. Everything has sku numbers so it's easy find what you picked out from the website. All pricing is clear and hangs on big signs. You can buy a life size sample and then return it for a full refund if needed. That way, you see the tile's colors in your environment to get a true picture. Now the best part::: The Staff. Holy Moly the Staff! They are everywhere and extremely helpful. I was taking pictures of skus for our contractor and we went to the back to find the blue grout. Josh came right to us and asked if we needed help. He calculated how much grout we'd need and then took us to the under tile grout and explained why they have white and gray. He was so nice and even joked with another customer that had his very well behaved and adorable dog (maybe an OES Doodle) with him. Josh told him, "I'm sorry Sir, cute dogs are not allowed". We all froze for a beat and then it hit us. CUTE DOGS. We all laughed then Josh got right back to work. He patiently waited while I made notes in my phone. We went back up front and we asked Britany and Jade at the front registers if they made tile for ceilings? Jade wasn't sure but immediately picked up a walk-talkie and asked. Meanwhile, Britany said they did but you had to use LFT Glue to hold it up. The man Jade radioed came up and confirmed Britany's comment. He was also knowledgeable and friendly. So while we are walking around at the front of the store, here comes Josh asking us if we were doing ok and if we had any other questions. He was helping the entire store! There was no "not my department" attitude like other stores. We will definitely be buying everything we need from F and D! We saw so much that we liked, we are already thinking about future projects! I have been so impressed with Floor & Decor. I started my bathroom renovation back in January and we are almost done. The tile is superior and was very reasonable. But, was most impressed with the customer service I recieved. They were extremely helpful and professional. I needed to return some tile which was last the 90 day limit. Mark Pojasek, the manager, made an exception for me to return the tile I did not need. We made an order via the phone, and the next day we decided to purchase an additional tile. The sales rep assured us that they had enough of my tile, so I placed the order and paid. We were told to come back the next day to pick up both orders. Unfortunately, when we returned the next day, neither of our orders were ready for pick up. To make matters worse, after an hour of waiting, they discovered that they did not have enough tile from my second order and still wanted me to take nine boxes out of the initial eleven that I had ordered and paid for. I could possibly cover 3/4 of my floor with that, great! So, I asked for a return and refund. They refunded my credit card, but not the full amount; the rest was sent to my husband's credit card which he had used for orders in the past. Unprofessional, lazy, and slow - such a poor customer service. I will never go back there again. read more

The 4 Stars is if you are a contractor or true DIY person. Design services is not truly design- there is no computer software to simulate your space and get images to compare tile/floor selection. Seems like that technology would be at a store like this- as it is commonly available - like I said true DIY place. The design portion is simply somebody walking the store with you to show tiles that may match what you already have in mind. (This is not design!) The store and tile/flooring selection is first class. Quality of tile has always been great no mismatching and size variation in any orders I've bought. Everything is available to do the project in house with great prices. Special item or low stock items may have to be shipped- I've store transferred before with no issues. read more

I have bought a lot of flooring from the store in Greensboro. I am pleased with the service from Raymond and from Antwon. They were very helpful and professional. Helped to pick out quarter round to match flooring, got padding, Also bought tile which they got the adhesive and matched the grout needed with a great color pad. I will be returning for any other projects that I may have. The only complaint I had was checking out. Needed authorization for a check, called your processing company and that is a farce. Was kept waiting for twenty minutes for them to recheck the process. You either need to get a different company or call the banks yourself if you feel the need. I had an appointment with Ms Peeler yesterday, and it couls not have been better. She was so friendly and had so many great options for me. We had spoken the day before and I told her my ideas. She already had samples of things for us to look at when I came in. I have 3 bathrooms to complete from top to bottom in a new home. She took me around the store and was very patient. We looked at tons of options, and the ones we liked we set up on a display area and it really brought the idea to life. She is also is going to send me pictures of what she took as mine came out bad. We are in the middle of a bathroom renovation project and was recommended to go to Floor & Decor by our neighbor. We drove here several times throughout the process from Winston Salem and ended up buying all of our tile from here. They have a much bigger selection than buying tile from Home Depot or Lowes. I don't remember much about the pricing for the larger tiles but for the accent tiles, they were definitely cheaper here than HD or Lowes. Once we decided what we wanted, we got a cart and started moving a box. Immediately, someone showed up to help us with the boxes. They are VERY heavy. The guy also helped with picking a grout color to go with the tile that we chose. They have a color palette with strips of plastic with different grout colors on them. You can take those plastic pieces and put them next to the tile to see how it would look. They also have an inspiration area near the front of the store that has some bathrooms set up with different combinations of tile. They also provide designing services, although, we didn't take advantage of that. What I wish they had is a tile cutting service. For a tile store, it doesn't really make sense that they wouldn't help you cut anything, even if it was a paid service. We really wanted to get a piece of marble for our shower niche but we knew our cheap wet saw probably couldn't handle it, so we had to modify our design a bit. Cutting 1 piece wasn't worth getting some better equipment on our end but we would have gladly paid a small amount if they could cut it for us. read more

I have never been so disappointed in staff at a company. I recently ordered a pallet of wood tile on your website at 7:30pm on November 19th expecting to be able to pick it up the next day around noon. once I got to the warehouse, I drove around back to the customer pick up. once I came in and gave them the order number the gentleman at the backdoor said- " dude, we haven't pulled this yet, but give us 5 mins." 20 min go by, the finally bring it to the back- the gentleman is sitting there on his cellphone for 10 more mins- after asking him if we were waiting for something he said " I have to get a manager approval before letting anything go out the back door. I asked him why he didn't think of that while he was sitting there on his phone. He 10 min later some one finally came to the back - then the forklift wouldn't start. I think this company shouldn't claim to have same day pick up, if they don't have the staff to support this. Its very frustrating. He asked about our project , showed us the best products for our job , and told us why he recommended these..He went and got a cart , found David who was pulling our tile , they took us to the cashier, explained we were waiting on three more boxes , and fork lift , paid for all. Jacob and the store manager loaded into our car. We had to make two trips but our items were right up front , This was a very good experience, with great customer service , that made an overwhelming task so easy . I called ahead to verify the order pickup process. The directions were just go inside and give them your phone number and they will pull the order and bring it to your car. (Handicap) I had to flag someone down to help me (even though their were people standing around) I was then told that I had to drive around the back of the store for pick up. Mind you the front area says CURBSIDE PICKUP. I drive around with contractors getting pallets of flooring loaded on. I had to go inside to get any help, even though it says CURBSIDE PICKUP in the back also. 1 person was working, the rest were standing or sitting. Great people on the floor asking if we need help! Terrible customer service at the register. The cashier was rude and barely moved an inch to help me. One of the tile pieces didn't have a sticker. Not only did he not offer to go help me but stood there and put his hands up and said you'll have to go figure out where this is in the store!! I was hot and annoyed by the time I made it back to the register, while he did NOTHING, then did not lift a finger to help me load the individual tiles from the counter. And you would like $15/hr!!??????????? It's a service oriented job. You are getting paid. I am not. Service your customers better or you're going to be replaced by those who get it. read more

I had a great experience shopping at Floor and Decor. As mentioned before, they have a far better selection of tile than either Lowes or Home depot. I purchased Travertine tile for a kitchen backsplash, and the salesperson calculated how much tile I would need, matched the tile with a grout color, helped with a glue selection and loaded all of this on the cart. Try getting thay kind of service from Lowes or Home Depot!!!. Check put was quick and they didn't offer to load it in my car, they just did it, part of their service. I recommend them! Wanted to say, first, my husband and I had good customer service. We were looking for laminate flooring. I asked the associate about any recommendations they may have who could put down the floor. I was told Medina Renovations. I called Mr. Medina he seemed very knowledgeable, and agreed, for him, to put down my new flooring. The problem I have is to ask Floors and Décor to not suggest this company! He came, put down my flooring in December, had some installation issues, as well as some bad boards, which they still laid, and it is April, and my floor is still not complete. I have had 158 e-mails with this company, and many promises, to fix, and then would be 'no shows'. They have been reported to BBB and NC Licensing Board. I walked in and was greeted accidentally by the manager of the store who then took me with my tile sample in hand to the exact area where I could match tiles to what I had in my existing shower. He then spent the next 30 minutes exploring floor tile for my shower and patiently assisted me and then checked me out with about five different samples to take home and try out in the natural lighting of my bathroom. Very slow and unprofessional. My order did not come in on time and when it arrived they gave part of my order to another customer. It's very hard to reach them over the phone therefore you have to go into the store. And when you do go into the store you have to wait over 20min just to speak to a manager. read more

We were renovating our master bath and used the free design consultation service. Traycee Peeler did a fantastic job. After learning about the project and our personal tastes, she collected a combination of tiles that was better than we had envisioned, creating the look of a modern shower that still felt at home in our house from early 2000. Beyond her design talent, Traycee provided outstanding customer service. She managed to support us between existing appointments. I think she may have even skipped her lunch break to get us a final quote packet. I would recommend the design services and I will be using them again on my next project. read more

We had an excellent experience here today. We came in a couple of weeks ago in search of wood floors to match the rest of our house. We found a bamboo sample that was a close match. We returned today with our sample to make the 600 sq foot purchase and found that in 2 weeks the price of the floors had gone up 33%. "Mack" the wood floor dept manager and the assistant manager, Deb, were so amazing in investigating this. Luckily, we had taken a picture of the facecard for the floors so we would be sure to purchase the right ones when we returned. They offered to match the initial price without us asking, which I thought was so amazing!! Our cashier, Brittany, was super nice too. They helped us load 22 boxes into my SUV, all the while with a smile. Cannot say enough good things about Floor & Decor! Excellent! Excellent! Excellent experience. I placed an order on June 13th that the website said was in stock and ready for pick up the next day. Well, that was WRONG! I have called the store twice now and after being transferred around I get someone in the warehouse who says no they don't have my tile, no they don't know where it is and no they don't know when (or IF) I will ever see it. They gave me the number for customer service (not sure that's the right term) and the hold music keeps saying I can check status on the website. Also WRONG! There is no real order status on their website, it just says prepping whatever that means! The endless recording also says there is a chat on the website that can help ALSO WRONG! The chat always asked what category and then asks if you have an order number and then, it says NO AGENTS. This is during the day and working hours. I paid $4k for tile that apparently I will never see. No one there cares or will help. I guess we will have to go try to pick tile somewhere else since the tile I paid for is apparently fictional and never existed!!!!!!
