Clothing is always strewn everywhere, shelves are disorganized, and the words "neat and tidy" have no connection to this retailer. Imagine shelves of stacked shirts; someone pulls one out from the bottom, opens it up, and then shoves it back on top of the stack wadded up. No,w repeat that with the next one on the bottom, etc., and that is pretty much how the shelves are. The racks are the same, with stuff on the floors, hanging over the top of the racks, hanging by one end of a hanger, etc. Even the jewelry and watches in cases are not neat or aligned. Finding an employee here is like panning for gold in the Pacific Ocean, which is probably why nobody is around to clean things up. Finding a cashier is even more challenging than that. And when you do find an open cashier, expect silly lines. On this visit, there was a place with 3 cash registers but only 1 cashier and 9 people in line in front of us. Macy's is trying to emulate WalMart and doing a fine job. The only reason we stayed in line was that our granddaughter ate a bite of a lollipop so we needed to pay for it. We have stopped going to Macy's; this was the last time we went to one. Pretty much the only thing you find there now is store brands and clutter. You are better off going to Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus, or smaller stores like Black Market, White House, Ann Taylor, Talbot's, etc. Two stars and sadness at what this brand has become.

Abby and Kate each took an ear and the whole thing was done before my kid could even flinch. Abby and Kate were both very courteous and thorough to make sure we understood the aftercare involved with ear piercings. The store has lots of earrings in stock to choose from, and they have a loyalty card as well for extra discounts. This place was worth the trip, and my daughter is so happy with her newly pierced ears!

Every staff member that I encountered was friendly. And I saw many of them, keeping their areas, clean and tidy. Here's what I know. That is not by accident. The store's layout was different because when you walked in, the customer service and Amazon Drop-off were at the front and to the right of the door. I was used to wandering to the back and standing in a line. Not so at this store. Although it was a little cluttered and confusing at first, I was happy to be able to get right in line and handle my Amazon return quickly. In general, the store seemed well managed and clean. That may have been because I stopped in so late (just 40 minutes before closing). However, I saw several workers busy with their tasks, and many were quick to answer my questions or help other customers. The shelves were stocked with the typical Kohl's offerings, but I was ecstatic to see they also had abundant clearance items. This must be an older store and perhaps not the most popular site. That was a bonus for me tonight since I scored several home interior items at 30-50% off, plus I was able to use a 15% off coupon that I received when returning the Amazon item from earlier. [side note: be careful turning in items at Kohl's because that coupon WILL sucker you in and get you buying sheets and candles and wooden platters you didn't even realize you needed! Saw some cute little Easter tumblers for kids and found Olipop in a four pack of mini cans. Wish they had more flavors but I like the lemon lime. I also like that they have Starbucks, which I discovered does not take tips. This is rather refreshing to me, TBH, because EVERYBODY has an "ask for a tip" point of sale these days, even on to go orders and I feel obligated to tip for the smallest of things, which I always end up doing. The most frustrating aspect is customer service which lacks at most Targets. They are more concerned with stocking shelves than answering questions. Also the lack of service is evidenced by the self checkouts which are 90% it seems. I will be honest, I don't like them. Bottomline I like Targets wide selections, goods and prices. They have a few areas that annoys me, but they are better than the alternative.
