A friend invited me to their Galentine's event with The Loaded Grape, and it turned out to be such a highlight and a fun way to spend a Wednesday evening. The event perfectly blended shopping and socializing, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was one of those nights that really reinforced the importance of supporting local businesses, and I'm already looking forward to the next event they host. The boutique is conveniently located in a shopping center with plenty of parking and other fun shops, making it an easy and inviting place to visit. The staff is friendly and upbeat, and the store offers gorgeous clothing and accessories. As I say in most of my reviews, I can't wait to visit again soon.

The girl manning the register was friendly and got a fitting room started for me and collected stuff from me along the way. This is in Reynolda Village towards the back exit by Pane Vino. I'm not sure what it was before but you can tell it definitely was something else since there is a weird open room with a fireplace in that kind of segregates a few things from the rest of the store. I have had several experiences with Songbirds, leaving me feeling very negative…read more I had some beautiful clothes, including designer labels, (Lilly Pulitzer, and other dresses from high end boutiques) and wanted to consign. The first occurrence was stopping by, and being ignored for a long time. When I inquired about consigning, the woman snapped that I needed an appointment to do so. Totally understandable. I called at a later time to set up at appointment, and the woman answering the phone was rude again. She barked about the having a long time before I could get at appt, and the rules about seasonal consigning. Again, fine, I figured she was busy and being direct. I set up appointment for weeks later. At the appointment, I arrived on time, and stood for a long time with an arm load of clothes being ignored. This should have been my sign to leave, but I waited. She sorted through my things, taking most, but making a comment about "Lilly Pulitzer doesn't really sell well, but we will take it." The whole interaction left me feeling very unwelcomed and weird. Again , fine, I was still willing to consign some clothes. When my time came around to pick up money, and the clothes that didn't sell, I arrived at the shop. I again was ignored for a long time. When I stood at the counter, the woman started helping me, then stopped to help another customer, then, a bridal appt. She literally walked off to deal with the appointment, never letting me know she was leaving. Finally another woman helped me, as she had a conversation with a different customer, the entire time. She handed me my money , as she talked to the other person. I collected my money, unsold clothes and left , vowing never to return. The vibe is completely off there, very tense, dark and unwelcoming. The shop even feels crowded, which would be perfect fine, if the staff was welcoming and nice. Prepare to feel like a less than intruder if you do business with them.

This store was poppin' they had wonderful charcuterie cones and some nice prosecco however nobody really "offered" it to me or welcomed me. I helped myself. They ushered me to one saleslady who seemed to be really into her last customer and did not act like she had time for me. She picked out one piece and showed me and made a comment about my budget which we did not discuss so I'm not sure why. I ended up buying two pieces I saw on my way in and decided not to customize anything as I did not care for the service.

I treated my…read moremother to a birthday shopping trip to Kendra Scott I was going to buy her a lot of beautiful jewelry. I was getting my toddler a snack before entering the store and I sent my mom ahead of me. My mom came back in tears. The sales woman stopped her gave her a snotty look and said that she need to put on a mask. That's not a big deal we were mask all the time. The way she said it was incredibly disrespectful almost guarding her from moving forward into the consumer-less store. When my mom fumbled through her purse to find one. She pointed to free masks with an attitude of clear irritation. I came back alone to speak with the manager who claimed she was in earshot, even though my mom said she was not in the store at the time. The sales woman I said she absolutely was not disrespectful in anyway when I pressed she said she was willing to apologize for any offense. Then the sales woman added to her narrative that she had told my mom she didn't have to wear a mask... which was a lie and also against their store's policies it seems. I can respect having your employees back. But the manager wasn't in ear shot. The sales lady lied. My mom wouldn't hear her out, she was too embarrassed. Stuff like this happens. We all have get in funks or have bad attitudes sometimes. It's not worth harping over and we all need grace sometimes. However, there are a lot of other places with great jewelry and I wouldn't go treat your mom to a shopping spree at Kindara Scott in friendly center and if you do put your mask on before you enter
