This was my first experience at the N. Battleground location of Harris Teeter. The selection was phenomenal, especially the plant-based items. I was delighted with the store's condition overall. There were employees visibly working in various areas, stocking, straightening items on shelves, and assisting customers. Two shining HT employees assisted me. A young man named Clay helped me find some items I was looking for in the store. He later helped bag my groceries as the sweetest cashier, McCaeila, checked me out. I told McCaeila about a spill I saw in the aisle, and she immediately addressed it. These young people were great representations of Harris Teeter that day.

What would a shopper expect from a grocer? I think the salient things are good food, fresh ingredients, a thorough selection of items, friendly & efficient service. On these criteria, this Harris Teeter excels but there is more to tell. I certainly appreciate the electric shopping carts and this is a store where they have enough so I can always use one when I come. As a handicapped veteran, this is not just appreciated but necessary! One day, a bagger inadvertently failed to bag a roast I was planning to cook for dinner. I called the store. The manager promptly delivered the meat in a refrigerated Ice Chest to my home in Reidsville, some 16 miles away. Recently, I fell injuring my knee so I looked into shopping online. Harris Teeter has a drive up area equipped with a call button. One announces one's name and the staff brings it out; load it into your trunk. You use your credit card with a wireless terminal to complete the transaction. I am super picky about the selection of vegetables and fruit. The personal shopper did as fine a job as I would, if I had selected these myself. The preparation fee is under $5. The capabilities of the online shopping are excellent right down to keeping a record of previous orders and keeping multiple shopping lists for future ease of shopping. The transactions are seamlessly coded that seem to work fine with any of my browsers. It remembers my address, Vic card, and all other important details. After I had placed an order on line, I added some more items I need to another order. The personal shopper was smart enough to merge the two orders so I would not be charged two preparation fees. Does all of this deserve 5 Stars? I know the name of many of the checkers, stock clerks, and managers. Every one of them is Uber friendly. There is more! I purchased some cheese that turned out to be past its expiration date. I returned it and the store gave me double what the item cost in cash! Now that is 5 star service.

Review of Pharmacist Conduct - Unprofessional and Disrespectful Behavior Randleman Road Greensboro…read moreNC #5593 As a licensed medical provider working with a nationwide medical clinic, I was deeply disappointed by the conduct of a pharmacist at this location. One of our patients returned to clinic after being refused her medication refill--despite presenting a printed prescription that was properly signed, included the physician's NPI number, and met all legal requirements. This method of issuing prescriptions is standard across hospitals and private practices nationwide, especially with the growing use of electronic medical record systems. I contacted the pharmacy directly to clarify and ensure the patient received the care she needed. Unfortunately, the pharmacist I spoke with was not only uncooperative, but outright rude and arrogant. I answered all of his questions respectfully, yet he continued to challenge my legitimacy as a provider. Shockingly, he even asked if I was "acting like a paramedic." For the record, I hold the appropriate medical degrees and have over 30 years of clinical experience. His behavior was unprofessional, dismissive, and inappropriate. Despite confirming that the prescription was for a non-controlled medication, he refused to fill it, asked the same questions repeatedly, questioned my authority without cause, and ultimately ended the call by saying, "Let's not waste any more time," before hanging up on me. This kind of behavior creates unnecessary barriers to care and disrespects both the provider and the patient. I was forced to redirect the prescription to a different pharmacy to ensure the patient received her medication without further delay. I have filed a formal complaint with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy to ensure this incident is reviewed appropriately. Addendum: I asked the pharmacist for his full name, and he gave me an incorrect name--most likely to avoid being reported to the pharmacy board. I called the pharmacy again and asked a technician to provide his full name and correct spelling, but she refused and said she would connect me back to him. I explained I did not wish to speak with him again. On a third attempt, I asked for the store manager. The staff member who answered was kind and went to get the manager, but the manager also refused to provide the pharmacist's name, citing it as private information. This is incorrect. A pharmacist's name is public information--it appears on every prescription label and is listed on the state Board of Pharmacy website. I proceeded to file a formal complaint for disciplinary action with the board due to this pharmacist's unprofessional behavior and for obstructing a patient's access to care. If all of you who have had a negative experience would contact the NC Board of Pharmacy, this nonsense might get addressed properly. There are numerous reviews here regarding the same issue with this particular pharmacist. The pharmacist's name is Ylber (Ben) Rraci. License #: 29329
