The first time it happened my mom had just been discharged and needed her fluid pills they waited 48 hours for delivery because the doctor prescribed a 40 mg pill and all they had was a 20 . They were unable to contact the doctor and I had to contact the doctor to resolve it . The second time they left me down I called for laxatives which my mom needed desperately deliver to her house . That was 7 days ago I was surprised to find out they never were delivered and called them back and left a message last night. Still no laxatives their excuse was it wasn't prescribed so it wasn't that important , followed by we don't know who you talk to there's so many employees here, and their ultimate excuses their deliveries are made by a third party company that resides next door and it's out of their control which is what the real problem is with this Pharmacy . If you want something that's not life saving it might be great to use them to have it delivered but don't rely on them to deliver life saving medicine when you need it because they will let you down .

On these criteria, this Harris Teeter excels but there is more to tell. I certainly appreciate the electric shopping carts and this is a store where they have enough so I can always use one when I come. As a handicapped veteran, this is not just appreciated but necessary! One day, a bagger inadvertently failed to bag a roast I was planning to cook for dinner. I called the store. The manager promptly delivered the meat in a refrigerated Ice Chest to my home in Reidsville, some 16 miles away. Recently, I fell injuring my knee so I looked into shopping online. Harris Teeter has a drive up area equipped with a call button. One announces one's name and the staff brings it out; load it into your trunk. You use your credit card with a wireless terminal to complete the transaction. I am super picky about the selection of vegetables and fruit. The personal shopper did as fine a job as I would, if I had selected these myself. The preparation fee is under $5. The capabilities of the online shopping are excellent right down to keeping a record of previous orders and keeping multiple shopping lists for future ease of shopping. The transactions are seamlessly coded that seem to work fine with any of my browsers. It remembers my address, Vic card, and all other important details. After I had placed an order on line, I added some more items I need to another order. The personal shopper was smart enough to merge the two orders so I would not be charged two preparation fees. Does all of this deserve 5 Stars? I know the name of many of the checkers, stock clerks, and managers. Every one of them is Uber friendly. There is more! I purchased some cheese that turned out to be past its expiration date. I returned it and the store gave me double what the item cost in cash! Now that is 5 star service.

Had I ever done this in any of my jobs, I would have been fired on the spot. Had any of my former staff done this, I would have written them up. If you have purchased products, browsed for items and or had any negative/hostile interactions with staff at the Harris Teeter Store number #280, located at 4010 Battleground Avenue, Greensboro, NC, let the captain of the ship Know. Please note the following transgressions that I am now sharing with you and numerous others. #1: Today, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, my wife, (who suffers from a clinically diagnosed Cardiac Condition,) and I shopped at the aforementioned store and were forced to wait on a line that wrapped more than 30 feet around, blocking ingress and egress. An elderly woman in front of us complained that her back was hurting (Possible ADA violation, Fire Code and the Older Americans Act). The store staff did absolutely nothing to address this dire situation which was right in front of them. As a last ditch effort, I called the store, spoke to a woman in customer service, who I could plainly see had answered the phone, and requested the full name of the Store Manager. She steadfastly refused, even though I warned her I was going to contact North Carolina Attorney General Jeff Jackson's office. When I later approached her, she hid her name tag and even removed it. (Deliberate Obstruction ). #2: Several months ago, date unknown, my wife and I, who have been frequent visitors to this store and probably spent upwards of $5000 over a period of two years, purchased three six packs of Canada Dry Ginger ale, which, per a clearly visible sign, was on sale. The cashier in question did not believe us when the item did not ring up as a sale item and had to doublecheck it himself, never mind the fact that several people were waiting behind us. #3: About six months ago, I stopped off at this same store and purchased Maxwell House coffee which, per the sign, was on sale for $3 less than the standard price. When I went to pay, the cashier, a young female, rang up the standard price and did not believe me when I told her it was on sale. My family served this served this Country in combat. My Dad, my uncles and my cousin, all suffered injury and trauma fighting for the freedom that this individual now enjoys. I take this personally. I can forgive one or even two transgressions, as itemized above; however, I cannot forgive a blatant lack of transparency and the arrogance of store employees who need to be reminded that people like me and my family pay their salaries. And I cannot forgive a total lack of concern for the welfare of their customers. This is not a customer service issue; this is a character issue.
