Not sure why but the past few visits to this location has been off from previous times. A very good, convenient spot still but I believe the inconsistencies of produce and even staff is what has been making these trips not as pleasant as before. The produce could be really good one day, then as you go another day with the good produce in mind, you get not so great, old produce. Then this cycles. The staff can be really inviting and ask if I need help somedays, others times I just get a look. The meat quality and variety is really good but that also leads to its high prices, even on weeks with deals.

Lowe's in Jamestown on Guilford Road is a solid grocery destination with a lot to offer and consistent sales and mailed coupons. The store is always well-stocked with fresh baked goods, they make the perfect size sub/hoagie roll for lunches. Thy always have great deals on their Sausage Works products-- sometimes buy one get one. The beer and wine section has a good variety, and the Beer Den is a standout feature. They offer free samples, you can get a couple to try at a time. and the mid-week specials for reduced-price drinks and take advantage of their shopping cart to have cupholders so you can sip while you shop. There are a few high top tables and a couple of smaller tables and chairs throughout the beer den to accommodate. They offer a variety local brews and routinely rotate. The self-checkout area is convenient, even during busier times, with plenty of stations that make it quick to get in and out. I also like the lottery vending machine, which makes it easy to grab a ticket without waiting for an attendant. Overall, Lowe's in Jamestown is a dependable choice with good deals, an easy going atmosphere, and convenient shopping features.

I just started shopping here and as a grocery story I believe the prices are about average compared to the others near by. What sets them apart from others is they have a little drinking section. I've gone on Sunday and gotten mimosas for $1.50. It's tuck in the corner and very simple which makes it nice for a nice stop while shopping.

If I truly need something in a hurry I will stop here but it is far from my favorite grocery store. It's a great location and very convenient, just not what I need. I always find myself searching for items that they do not carry, not to mention I have never been able to find the dog food my dogs love!

Ok. Walked in and there is a sign that says they are hiring for a bunch of positions. The one that caught my eye was the LFTGPT.... Huh? Lol. Nice store. Clean, friendly staff, great selection. Ashley was so patient and kind at the checkout. Good job!

A lot of Campbell's products I bought to get free delivery.

I am only going to comment on the sushi (Ron Roll) , frozen edamame and delivery person. Otherwise I would give a 4 because 1 item was not delivered and I paid almost $100 for free delivery for 1 year. Turns out it was for pick up. I am not allowed to drive due to health reasons. Sushi was fabulous and edamame as well. Sushi could have been eaten by 2. I have only been able to eat 1/2. So could it compares to restaurant quality.

What a nice find! We've never lived in an area with Lowes foods, just the home center. We decided to run in today to just pick up a few things. This is a really fun store. No, it's not a huge market and selections are limited, but the produce was very fresh and the bakery items looked great. I loved the tomato bar that lets you sample cherry tomatoes and that you can snip a few choices of fresh herbs. I know it's kind of gimmicky, but it's still pretty cool for a change. We also can't wait to try all of the different sausages they have available. I docked them one star because some of the prices are higher than the competition, but I'm still planning to have some shopping fun there.

Great lunch! They'll even heat it up for you.

The new and improved Lowes stores have slowly risen on my list of preferred places to stop for lunch or pick up a quick dinner. Grocery prices are a bit high compared to local competition, but the store is always well-stocked. Best deal is the sandwich/deli pickle/brownie combo in the deli section for $5. Healthier version of a lunchable. We also enjoy their salad bar, sushi, panini and flatbread pizzas (all in the deli section). Great lunch options! They also have a "beer den" where you can enjoy a local beer or take it with you.

The parking lot was immaculate, with no debris in sight and shopping carts corralled. Upon entering, there are recycling bins and plastic bag returns, also neatly maintained. The store is clean and airy, with the happy buzz of employees dressed in green going about their tasks. To demonstrate the quality of this particular store, and what impressed me the most, I have a story. I was there for a specific item (although I left with $50 dollars worth of other items, but I digress), and was having difficulty locating it. Ben, the store manager was busy stocking shelves and was coming down the frozen food aisle, so I stopped him to inquire. Without hesitation, he kindly looked up the item, checked the stock, and found a boatload of what I needed (yay!) and then educated me on where the other plant-based items were in this specific store. Score! I had been to THREE other Publix stores (yes in three different cities...lol) on my search. This store has now become "Numero Uno" in my book. It was so well stocked and the employees were so helpful, that I will enjoy coming back again, and again, and I would invite anyone to do the same.

Today, there was a new person training on the one register and her trainer was helping the self checkout. I was patient with the cashier, because she was nice. The self checkout can be stressful because people with large qualities of groceries use the checkout, so you have to wait. You can only imagine the chaos when you are dealing with people who are not use to the technology or are unable to scan their items properly. Even with these first world frustrations, I like this store. It is usually clean and has a unique variety of products. Really the only times/things I shop for here are when they are running g their big sales. I stopped in last night to replenish my cheese supply, as they regularly run a "buy 2 get 3 free sale" on shredded cheese, and that's a great value, but in general, their pricing has gotten too high. They do have nice things like a fresh sushi bar, even a salad and Asian food buffet bar, but I'm real leery if things like that, especially after Covid, when no one is monitoring it. They are a good source for finding some rare, or harder to find items, but will pay a premium for them. I understand stores are in the business of making money, but when you can regularly run a "buy 2, get 3 free" sale and still make money, then your mark ups are simply too high.
