And I've had it several times now! The price for the size of it is very decent at $12.50, and as you can see it is large, just like my banana! :) And the pistachio crème in that cross section is generously filled and delicious! It is melty and gooey and just a terrific treat! When I think Dubai bar and what a standard chocolate bar with pistachio crème ought to be, this is it. Inside of the store is still trashy though. The ABSOLUTE WORST PHARMACY"PROFESSIONALS". Especially the woman working the drive-thru window this evening. I will leave the woman's name out of this because I'm not as indecent as she is. However, I'd be more than willing to share her name with Corporate Walgreen's. Moving on, I tell the woman that i'm picking up 1 prescription for my wife (cancer survivor). The completely rude woman says "We don't have anything for her. Are you sure you're not dropping off?? There are no refills available for her." I calmly and politely explained that my wife received a phone call telling her a refill is ready for pickup. Honestly, I had no idea which prescription it is. I said it's "what my wife calls anti-cancer pills" but that didn't garner any reaction from said woman except that she muffled the phone and proceeded to talk with a coworker. So, after being ignored a few minutes, the woman asked me what the name of the medicine is. Again, I explained that I really have no idea; that maybe it's Metformin because that's the only medicine I could think of from the myriad that my wife takes. I HAD NO CLUE THAT IS A DIABETES MEDICATION AND THE WOMAN DIDN'T CARE TO TELL ME EITHER. So I'm at the 40 minute mark now between the lengthy wait in line and this ridiculous interaction. The woman says, "Her insurance won't cover anything until the 26th. The earliest she can get anything refilled is the 21st." Ok, fine. I understood what my wife told me but the woman at Walgreen's says otherwise. Now, later that evening when my wife returned from work, I told her what the woman said. My wife took it upon herself to go to said pharmacy. My wife presented the empty bottle of anti-cancer medication she is out of. The SAME woman told my wife that all I did was ask for Metformin but they can definitely refill the anti-cancer medication. So, of course this now leaves me with a disappointed, sad and sickly wife. I'm relieved she got the medication she needs but THANK YOU FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WALGREEN'S ON CLOVERDALE IN WINSTON-SALEM. It's truly unfortunate that I MUST leave you at least 1 star because you're not even worth 0. This pharmacy is a negative INFINITY. read more

Recently I have been to this store and it is getting a little better. I asked them to transfer my remaining Rite Aid prescriptions over so that I can handle my refills on line. This is a lot more efficient than trying to reach them by phone. When I did try to reach the pharmacy by phone I was able to get through after the second attempt, so that is better. I also made an appointment to get my flu shot and the personnel were very nice and on time. I am going to continue to try to use Walgreens and hopefully them will continue to improve. read more

Convenient location, but SLOW pharmacy staff. Tonight we were the only car in the drive thru and finally gave up and left without the prescription after sitting there for 10 minutes. Don't get me wrong, the staff is nice enough but they are so painfully slow it's amazing. So, after going there for 4 years we've decided to find a pharmacy who values my time as much as they do their own time. read more

They don't send notifications, so you have to remember to call or stop by to check. My biggest concern is that when they answer the phone, they often have the call on speaker. While they're asking for your name, date of birth, and other personal information, everyone in the pharmacy can hear the conversation. If you have questions about your medication or a private health concern, that doesn't feel very comfortable or appropriate. I ended up coming back because my doctor's office accidentally sent my prescription here instead of the Target pharmacy next door, and I had the same experience again. I also think the customer service could be a little more welcoming. If you're someone who doesn't need reminders and doesn't mind calling to check on your prescription, this pharmacy may work fine for you.
