First time trying it in Charlotte and they got me hooked ever since but its too far of a drive for me, glad we have one in the Triad area now. I tryed the paradised iced latte, I believe there was ube foam on top and caramel swirl on the bottom. It was okay, I think I will stick to my salted caramel. Flavor was too llight and it looked very good. A cute decent size coffee shop. I was going to try the Nova Lox smoked salmon bagel with caper, onions and cream cheese but I couldnt, the kitchen is closed. The staff mentioned she already turned off her oven when I walked in...so I guess they stop orders for there food menu a hour before closing.

The ube gave it such a beautiful color and it tasted great. I could definitely taste the matcha. I also tried the Raspberry Rose macaron but that was a bit of a disappointment. I couldn't really taste either the raspberry or the rose. Since it was after 4 pm, I skipped the coffee (I didn't want caffeine keeping me up all night!) but they had a lot of interesting coffee options. We'll definitely be back to try one next time.

My wife has been wanting to stop at this bakery for quite some time and today was the day. While…read moreneither of us have any food allergies, my wife eats a clean diet throughout the week and is less restrictive on the weekends. The bakery is located off Hanes Mall Boulevard. The parking is ample and it was easy to find. We entered and were immediately greeted by a young woman behind the counter. We began to peek into the bakery cases and couldn't help but notice all the accolades and attention this baker has received over the years. Anna is the owner and is competing on the Spring Baking Championship on the Food Network. We can't imagine all the thousands of people Anna had to compete with just to get the opportunity, impressive. As we looked over the items we asked a few questions, let me tell you that each and every item looked absolutely delicious! My wife decided to try the Oatmeal Cream Pie cookie which is described as "the best oatmeal cookies in the world filled with our signature vanilla bean buttercream". I decided on the Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwich which is described as "two of our classic chocolate chip cookies filled with buttercream". We had the young woman package the cookies since we had a couple other errands to run before enjoying them. My wife opened hers up a couple of hours later and from the first bite she was blown away! She loves a good cookie and she commented that this is the absolute best cookie she has ever tasted! The cookie also did not bother her stomach afterwards or make her feel bloated like many others. Let's talk price. The cookies were $8 each which initially felt expensive, but as we later talked about the national cookie place with the pink boxes down the street who charges $4 per cookie (these were approximately the same size and you get two, filled with incredible buttercream) and the taste is superior. Also when you look at splurge items such as a 20 oz. flavored latte at any of our favorite coffee places you are going to spend at least $7 a cup. So, in the end, it feels reasonable, especially when you consider the cost of the ingredients at a high end bakery such as To Your Health. I also really enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie with buttercream. I know this...we will absolutely be back! Note, they are open Monday through Saturday and closed on Sunday. We should also mention their website which allows you to order larger quantities and cakes for custom orders.

(3.25 stars) My sweet tooth and my desire to eat healthier…read morehave long been at odds, and I wanted to get a sense of how keto desserts compare to their sugarfied counterparts. That led me to To Your Health. It's a small bakery with minimal seating, but there's quite a bit here: cakes, cupcakes, pies, cookies, donuts, and more. As expected, there were more gluten-free than keto/paleo options, but a helpful staff member was able to point me toward a few sugar-free offerings. I ultimately went with a piece of pumpkin cheesecake, which proved to be a somewhat mixed experience. I knew the texture would be different from a classic New York-style, and it was. However, the sweet, creamy filling with warm spice notes proved to be plenty tasty in its own right. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same about the crust as the pronounced almond flavor was a bit off-putting. Finally, while I was prepared for keto desserts to cost more, $9 for one piece of cheesecake still stung. To Your Health does a commendable job of providing options for those with food allergies and sensitivities, and if I were in that camp, I might rate them higher. I can appreciate the care they put into their offerings, but for me, they just weren't worth the cost.

Binki Cate has the potential to be a landmark for Ramen but there some work to do. First, this location seems to be a great spot but there has been like 3-5 different restaurants in the building over the last 10 years. I hope Binki stays. Ok, so I wanted Ramen but I don't think this is their wheelhouse. I think the main focus are the drinks and treats. I got the Miso chicken Raman and it was good...not great. The presentation was kinda wonky with a plastic bowl with clear wrap on top like a school lunch meal...wait...was this frozen and they just heated it up?? Hmmm...anyway the service was...functional. The ube soft-serve was topped with mochi and coconut. I was happy to learn it was lactose-free. Ube has a mild vanilla flavor and is not as sweet as other soft serves I have had before. They have a banana dessert that sounds good and I would get it in the future.

Nice helpful service for the most part and a welcome place to get a bit of relief/recharge while at the hospital. The Deets: With a family member in Novant Forsyth Medical Center for surgery recently, I had the chance to visit Market Coffee several times. It is located in their front entry corridor near the discharge exit area (along the "Yadkin River" signage area 1st floor). This coffee kiosk serves Starbucks products but it is not a "full blown" Starbucks...they do not use the Starbucks phone apps and do not accept Starbucks gift cards so not as convenient in that way as a regular Starbucks coffee shop. They do accept credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and cash that I found out about there. This kiosk is a very welcome area as I have to say their coffee is better than the cafeteria coffee (I found, personally) and the quality of the beverages were as what you would expect from Starbucks. My hot skim latte I got each time was good as well as the blueberry muffin and cheese danish I enjoyed there also. I noticed they had refrigerated bottled beverages for purchase. The service was nice and the staff were helpful/pleasant for the most part. You can either take your purchase back to your area to enjoy or they do have a couple of high top tables near a lobby seating area to use also. I was very glad for Market Coffee to be available at Novant Forsyth Medical Center, it definitely made those long day stretches at the hospital much better stays.

Anyone else beeline for the Amish doughnut truck at the fair as soon as you get through the gate?…read moreWell Glazed-N-Dazed makes those same huge yeast glazed doughnuts and they are available (almost) year around. They are soft, warm, fresh from the fryer doughnuts. They sell one type of doughnut-glazed. They sell them 1/$4 each or you can get 3/$10. Yeah, they are a bit more than some places but these are hand rolled homemade to order and served warm. Their logo also said coffee and milkshakes but I was there just for the doughnuts today. Glazed-N-Dazed is part of the family run Food Freaks Burger Truck. Sidebar: if you haven't tried these burgers yet you really should because they are some of the most unique and best burgers I've ever had- both Glazed and Dazed and FoodFreaks post their hours and days on Facebook so go follow them there if you want to check them out. This particular food truck of theirs has a permanent spot behind Jug heads Growlers and Pints on Country Club in Winston. They are usually only open serving doughnuts, burgers or both when Jug heads is also open but sometimes they serve doughnuts in the mornings on the weekends. Keep in mind this is a food truck. There are picnic benches to sit at but it's all outdoor seating. Jug Heads has some indoor seating though so if you're there when they are open, you can sit inside with your food. I know a food truck might not be the first place you think of going when you want a doughnut but these are really good and if you happen to see them around definitely stop in to try them.
