I love going to club Costco in winston! Firstly the new "VIP" early entry at 9am makes me feel like I'm on the red carpet and oh so important. Scanning my executive membership card like I'm an A list celebrity. Nice touch Costco! I do wish they did samples during this time, maybe caviar and champagne? Haha This store is so clean, staff is friendly and helpful and layout is good. The buggies ALWAYS roll well and don't squeak, big plus. Only complaint is sometimes the produce area is lacking. Been a few times and a brand of salad mix will all be bad or the strawberries are all not doing so hot. Keep up the good work club Costco!

This Costco is always very clean and the employees are friendly and willing to help you find anything that you are looking for while shopping. Costco has a great selection of cheeses, produce, and meat. The electronics and return policy on everything cannot be beat. Don't skip the chocolate chip cookie, pizza, and ice cream on your way out!

This Costco in Winston Salem is so much better than the Greensboro locale; easier parking, more spacious, better set up.. The optical shop was outstanding handling a large number of patrons. Good experience.

Great selection and prices, I love how they have started coming through and pre-scanning your items for a quick and seamless checkout.

I have recently been going to Costco, as my partner has a card and prefers it over the Sam's Club experience.

Occasionally you can find some good deals on meat and cheese on the 50% off rack. I always check this area when I come in. One time I got lucky and found a whole beef filet for 50% off. I haven't seen any since but today my husband and I found a whole skirt steak for 50% off which worked out to about $3.50/lb for it. With the high price of beef these days, I'll take a deal wherever I can. The Chef Store is great for local restaurants to pick up items if they need them at the last minute but it's not anywhere that saves you much money. In fact the prices are often higher than places like Sam's, Costco or the regular grocery store and also carry more limited inventory.. They carry items in restaurant size quantities but so do other club stores. A plus here is that you don't need a membership to shop there. Don't go looking for help there though if you need it. Often there's a single employee out and they often don't know where items are or when they will get out of stock items in. I've learned not to bother to ask. If you can't find it yourself they probably don't have it. I'll continue to stop in here for my sugar free coffee syrup and check the discount rack but that's about all.

I originally planned to stop back by the Greensboro location, but I wanted to stop by here again. I had came by here before when I first heard of Hamricks from my cousin. to me, it reminds me of a discount store like Burlington or TJ Maxx, or Big Lots. Most of the items are decently priced. I know that I got some shoes that were similar to Sperrys from here turn my first visit about 2 months ago. They have prescriptions to write the store. I noticed that many of the items does not have a price listed. The store is divided into different departments or areas. There is a sign above hanging from the ceiling to help guide you in case you want to go to a specific area. I browsed for a little bit just to see what they had. I had had no intentions on really buying anything, but you never really know. Check out can be a little difficult. The line starts in one of the aisles and supposed to go down it and around the right so that it loops around. I feel like they need to have an arrow pointing to the direction of the line because the sign is hanging from the ceiling doesn't make it very clear. I was standing thinking I was next in line, but really, I was not at all. Vanessa was the cashier who processes my return. It was a quick and easy process, and she was very friendly and polite. She stated everything that she was doing and how the refund would be processed. I use my credit card to make the purchase and I had needed it to get the refund. I grabbed the wrong credit card , so the right one was in my car. Nonetheless, I went to grab it from my car and she was patient until I returned. Many options here and I plan to return.

Where else can you still feed a family of four for about $10 or less? The food isn't top tier obviously and the counter worker had a minor conniption because he had to make us three sundaes at once, but he managed to persevere through his complaints of exploitation. On weekends when we are between trips and trying to save some dough but our kids don't feel like they had a 'day off' unless they eat a meal prepared by someone other than me, this has become my go-to. "Let's go to Sam's for lunch" is met with cheers and celebration and so for that, I am grateful.

Bottomless drink and a huge slice of good pizza. Now granted, timing is everything because the line for ordering can be quite long. We opt for mobile ordering and skip with long lines and waiting. 10/10 for mobile ordering food here. The pizza is very good. Plenty of toppings and always cooked right. Love it. As far as the shopping experience goes, it's hit and miss. They usually have what we need. My biggest issue are the other customers. Not all of them just the ones who have no manners or rudely park themselves in the middle of an aisle successfully stopping the flow of shopping traffic in BOTH directions at the same time. Also, you'd think people hadn't eaten in a week how they hawk any and all free samples to like it's the Hunger Games. If you can grit your teeth and ignore the stupidity around you, you can get some great deals and stock up. We love the rotisserie chickens. I get a ton of pulled chicken as well as make 3 quarts of bone broth all for only $4.98. You need this. The store is fairly clean but it IS a warehouse venue. I also champion the "scan and go" app to avoid the long checkout lines and it's exactly how it sounds. I'm you scan your own items, pay online and proceed to the exit. If your receipt and cart gets checked buttons a minor thing compared to standing behind someone in line with $800 worth of stuff in their cart. All in all I do look forward to our trips here. The staff has always been friendly and the shelves are well stocked. If you have kids and want to save money, this is a good place to start.
