I bought a WIFI range extender at Walmart that I bought on May 12th. I took it back today and was told that it could not be returned today on May 28th. On the receipt it plainly stated that the return policy is 30 days on electronics. The customer rep and the manager would not help me in any way. I don't shop a lot at walmart, but I will have to say I went in here to look a specific bicycle and we found it outside on the tie down. Well we went in to find out whom to speak to about looking at it more to possibly purchase. The greeter was a little helpful in that she directed us to the customer service center. Customer Service called Lawn and Garden to unlock the bike. As we walked by the greeter she wished us a good day and we said we were going to look at the bike she just helped us with the info. We go to the bike and the person unlocked it and my friend rode it around a bit and we decided we wanted it, but the tire was low one air and the brakes needed adjusted. We took the bike inside (lawn and garden person said to see Patrick in toys. We take the bike in and the greeter asked if we were needed to return the bike or exchange it (odd since we have talked to her twice in less than 5 minutes about looking at the bike) we told her where we were going. We found Patrick and he called Ken. Well Ken made the trip worth while. He looked at the bike, offered to not only look the bike over, but suggested we take the bike he just finished putting together. He brought it out and it was perfect, the only adjustment that was requested was changing the location of the Parrot. Ken did this without question. He is what customer service is all about and why the bike was worth the purchase. Oddly after paying for the bike the greeter still didn't recognize us. read more

This is your run of the mill Walmart, although I havent been inside in years. This review is simply for their drive up shopping service. I came over here as a last attempt to obtain a certain type of Christmas lights that were out at every other pickup I placed. I had a seamless experience. The staff was friendly and loaded the items they did have in stock properly. Sadly they did not have the lights either, but I received all the other items I ordered. Pickup is on the left side of the building. Check in on the app ahead of arriving, and then again when you arrive. I was in and out in 5 mins! read more

As I have stated in a previous review..I'm really not a fan of Walmart overall. I don't like their business practices..how they treat their employees..or the kind of people that frequent their stores. That being said..sometimes you end up there for one reason or another and it is what it is. On this particular visit I was tagging along with my sister and her kids. She was interested in purchasing some additional Easter decorations to put around the house..and Walmart had some good and cheap ones on sale. When I used to live in this area, and when I had less of an issue with Walmart, I would frequent this location. This is honestly one of the more decent locations in the area..miles beyond better than their Hamilton location..jeez..avoid that one at all costs. The store is very big and very well kept up. Clean, organized, and easy to navigate through. The employees here all have been extremely nice and helpful in any interactions I've had with them. They seem generally older and a bunch seem to have been there for a while..they're nice knowledgeable people overall. Kind of makes you upset knowing that the company they work so greatly for doesn't treat them right. So yeah..if you must go to a Walmart this is one of the better locations. I'm giving it the highest rating I am willing to give any Walmart..three stars. read more

What did I expect! I went to the store to get some prescription glasses. The employee that waited on me gave me the distinct feeling that she didn't value my business and couldn't get me out fast enough How I miss the days when most businesses were run by families. Corporations have destroyed the experience of shopping. Absolutely incompetent. They offered 3 options for new tires. I select an option, they take 15 minutes to tell me they only have 1 of that tire. Mind you you must get 2 tires changed at a time. I tell them I will go with the next expensice option. They only have 1 tire of that option now. They now say the only tires they can sell me are the most expensive ones they carry. Not to mention the line is out in the parking lot before they open and within 30 minutes of opening they can no longer take new customers. What kind of inefficient inbred business closes their doors 30 minutes after open? DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Unprofessional and they have no idea what is going on. Always get oil changes here. But today was just lacking. Employees don't want to be here and make it known. It's sad. We love coming here but smile and deliver customer service the best you can. I work in the same industry, customer service sells.. Had to come back to fix a tire and these assholes, who mind you found my warranty a month ago told me I had it and I got it fix, now are telling me I don't have it... I drove an hour to come back here to fix it with a 2 month old! These people are a bunch of assholes. I can not believe the bullshit this company allows! Do not purchase the refilled ink cartridges (ONN. HP 62XL) that Walmart sells. I purchased two and they both broke after one use and could not be reset. When I took them back to Walmart they said: 1. That can't replace them if they're open 2. They won't replace them after 30 days beyond purchase. I spent over $50.00 on them. I only purchased them because they were out of standard cartridges. Worst customer service ever. Went to return 3 iPods I purchased 3 days ago and was told I could not donut with a copy of my receipt. I said I have my id and want the money to go back on the card on the receipt. They said they need actual receipt and said it was their dumb policy. Went to my car and found actual receipt and came back and she was rude and I was like I won't shop here again and she was like that does not impact my pay and I was like it's not like u get paid much. Oh Walmart Walmart Walmart. A place so many like to trash, but a place from where I bought my trashcan on a recent visit. This one's different, though. The store is actually pretty well-organized, although part of the reason for the typical disorganization at a Walmart is due to shoppers. Of course, this also meant that I didn't need to stand in long lines at check out. Anyway, aside from being a cleaner-than-typical Walmart, this place has a great selection of Hispanic pastries for some reason. The workers actually said hi to me. Greeters actually greeted me. I even managed to find help when I needed them. On top of that, I was actually taken directly to the product I was attempting to locate instead of a finger (of the non-middle variety) waving toward a vague direction. Pleasant laughter among workers congregating on the sales floor actually startled me! This isn't a Walmart! This must be some alternate reality in some place, like Malwart! It's too bad I live so far away from this Walmart. I'd definitely come here more frequently if I didn't have a Kroger right around the corner. read more

I purchased 2 crown broccolis because the sign said $1.98 Each. At check out the price was $1.50 lb, which was $5.88 total. I told the girl at the the check out that the price was incorrect, she told me go to customer service for my refund. When I showed the posted sign for broccoli $1.98 EACH, the manager said "$1.98 EACH, means $1.98 each lbs therefore, I got it for less" . I asked her show me where the sign said "pound" on the sign, she said "each means each pound". This manager is rude, stupid and unprofessional person I've met. Charged me for a warranty on a CO detector l never asked for. When l caught the cashier sneaking this in on me l asked to have it refunded. Mgr came out and said I had to go through customer service to do this which was crowded. There mistake but l get punished. Great Walmart, shop here all the time. Normally everything is stocked and on the shelves. This one is called the "stinky Walmart" because of the drainage issue with the parking lot. It's true and more often than not you will catch the aroma. Don't let that deter you, this is a great store and no other places can beat their prices, hands down. read more

Okay fiiiiiiiiine. I'll be the first to review.... It's Walmart... *sigh*. I am not a "person of Walmart" nor are many of the people that frequent this Walmart. It's in West Chester... white... middle class... suburbia. I have been here a few times since I've been back in Cinci and I really don't have any good people watching stories to deliver. Kind of disappointing? It's a big store... with a fresh section... which is nice. I originally stopped in here because I realized I no longer had a Kroger card... you don't need a card at Walmart for cheap stuff! $4 prescriptions! Just ran out of health insurance and needed an antibiotic filled for a root canal and horray it didn't cost me a million dollars! First time going to this Walmart. It was in the area and I needed to pick up a coupe of items. The greeter didn't greet me and another person. She turned her back as we passed the first double doors. Workers on the floor were no better. I had to stop a worker walking right past me and had to say excuse me twice. He didn't seem to care about what I was looking for, so I chuckled at his rude demeanor. I then just said thank you but I will ask the other sales associate who was helpful. Giving my visit last Friday a a 4 star and not a 2 because I love how the $200 TV stand looks and because of Albert. Sadly, I didn't get his last name, but he was the one person I came in contact with that greeted me with a smile, offered assistance, and provided assistance. Albert, an older gentleman, was so pleasant and helpful and so, so happy to have a job at Walmart... His smile and positive energy made my day. A manager, I decided against using her name, and a guy gathering carts in the parking lot, decided against using his name, too, were very unhappy people and didn't have anything nice to say about their employer. The things they were saying made me wonder why they even work there... Anyway, in the end, I thanked Albert, shook his hand, and told him how impressed I was with his dedication and customer service. He thanked me back and asked if I would let his boss, Scott (Valentine, I think) know how I felt. Albert said you only hear the negative feedback and he would really appreciate it if I would let Scott know what a good job he did. Scott, Albert was fantastic! On this particular visit, I came in contact with 5 or your employees. 2 were unremarkable, 2 were rude and depressing and then there was Albert, an absolute ray of sunshine! Just disappointing... I've been shopping at this Walmart for a very long time; and have watched it evolve into what it is today. For the many years I'm been shopping at this Walmart I have never ever had a bad experience with my product or the employees. That was until last night 01/24 @ 2230. I had been working all week and didn't have time to shop for my brother's birthday cake. Lucky for me (or so I thought), I could find some at my local Walmart and if I hurried I could maybe find someone there to write "Happy Birthday." Two simple words... that all I needed! And to my surprise, there were people still behind the counter. So I hurried on over to quickly pick a cake just to look up and literally watch all three running to the little office looking space in the back. So I waited for a good 10 minutes hoping someone would come back out. Sad part is none of them did, instead I stood there looking like an idiot making eye contact with each of them as they kept peaking out to see if I was gone. It took another Walmart employee to come from the self check out area to go talk to them and then come tell me what they said which was that it's not their specialty. The frustrating part is that those three employees could have saved me that 10 minutes by having some sense of customer service and just telling me that they couldn't do it and I would have walked away without a question; that's all it took! I walked out of there feeling very differently about Walmart. It takes one bad experience to trump all the good ones and yesterday night those three employees managed to make that happen. Their PHARMACY has the best customer service! I got there a few minutes before closing (I thought it was 24 hours) but they went above and beyond to get my prescription filled. They also have a big enough supply of medication, unlike CVS pharmacies. EXCELLENT JOB!!!!! read more

Alex, slightly heavy build with a mushroom cut curly hair style, an associate of the store assisted me twice on two different occasions. The first time Alex assisted me with a transaction I was asked for things out of order which makes one thing irrelevant when you do not have the other, and quite frankly wastes time. I commented that this was the first I was asked for my information in this order before and Alex responded rudely, like it irritated Alex that I had the nerve to speak so clearly light conversation was out. Alex was rude throughout the transaction and has a big mouth. At one point I had to ask that she finish my transaction as she was so set on having the last word that she was wasting more of my time. She ended without asking me how I wanted my cash back. The second time I avoided her by telling her I would wait for the next associate to which Alex responded, "I don't want to help you anyways, you're rude." after a couple more comments like that I shared my own choice words and it seemed to shut Alex's mouth. But that big ol; thing wouldn't stay shut. Alex proceeded to passive aggressively walk back and forth past me and my children making threatening and disrespectful comments about my race, my children and even threatening to get rid of my unborn child! Alex even stated that it was not her fault that I had children and did not know the father. This time I of coarse had my own choice words that were mostly hit backs about her comments that simply made her look more and more stupid as she worked hard at trying to find my button to which she was unsuccessful. The failure was clear as this ignorant Walmart employee continued to threaten and disrespect a customer repeatedly.Then out of no where a chubby associate pops up and starts to instigate the situation with a smile on her face acting as if she were a bystander when in reality she wanted to be close enough to hear the drama. The most ignorant encounter I have ever had in Walmart from possibly the dumbest of their staff. Alex even continued to stand in wait so that she could ATTACK ME, in front of my kids and as I am pregnant!!!! This is a violent staff and not recommended that you visit this location. This is a prominent area and somehow they let the hood in. Get rid of the trash and find better suited associates for this store. No one should be afraid to walk through this store if they dare have an opinion or refuse service from trash associates. This is not the last they will hear about this. read more

My brother who is 21 was trying to buy wine. The cashier refused to sell it to him because I was under 21. What the fuck! I told her that I wasn't going to drink it which I wasn't. She eventually called over a manager who said the same bullshit. We typically shop at Kroger and never have this issue. They were saying that they could lose their jobs and get fined over selling alcohol to someone who is 21 while with someone under 21. read more

I stopped going to the walmart that's only 1.3 miles from my house because the deli people are the worst and started going to this walmart which is 8.5 miles for groceries. The past 2 times I went grocery shopping I hav ed had issues. A couple of weeks ago I brought an 8 pack of Gatorade along with other things up to the cashier to pay for. When I sat my Gatorade on the belt I noticed one of the bottles were broken so I told the cashier I didn't want it. She told me I had to take. This went on for about 3 minutes with me telling her no I didn't have to buy it and her telling me yes I did. I ended it by saying let's ask your manager if I have to buy it. Today when I went in to buy groceries my son wanted some chicken tenders from the hot foods deli. I stood there for 5-7 minutes before a very rude woman walked up to the counter and just stood there looking at me. I let her stand there for a minute before I realized she wasn't going to ask me if she could help me. I finally said thank you I'm doing great and could I get 2 chicken tenders. She threw 2 chicken tenders in a bag and then set the bag on top of the counter and looked at the next person standing there. I said oh you're welcome and I will have a great day. So very rude! I go about shopping and i had about $230 worth of groceries in my cart just like i do every week i go. I get in line to pay and the cashier's face automatically gets bent out of shape. She immediately says to me that the cashier next to her only has 3 people in line and I should go over there. I said but you're almost done with this lady and I'm next in line. She says well I'm slow and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be even slower with your big order. I asked her if she was serious and she said yes. This cashier was only in her 40's. I told her I wasn't moving. She deliberately moves even slower ringing my groceries up I guess to show me. This walmart has now lost my business! I'll go to Lebanon walmart from now on. It takes me a good 25 minutes to get to it but the cashiers and deli people are way better. If they fail me all Walmart's will lose my business for good. I work in retail. I know it can be crazy sometimes but that never gives you a reason to act that way towards your customers. Be professional walmart! read more

I know it probably seems strange that the same person who reviews 5 star restaurants like Orchids and Nuvo is shopping at Walmart. However, when you need cheap toilet paper and don't want to sign up for a Costco membership, Walmart can't be beat. The Walmart Supercenter in West Chester is actually quite nice for a Walmart (I realize that's a loaded term). It's decently clean, the staff is relatively friendly (at least they don't look like zombies like at some other locations), and the selection is decent. For instance, this Walmart carries most basic fruits and vegetables (that actually look edible) and basic meats. Sure, you're not going to be able to walk in and get a pound of fresh Scottish salmon. However, if you need chicken breasts, turkey patties, or basic steaks, they've typically got them in stock. This Walmart also has self-service check out stands when you're in a bit of rush. I come back almost every week and have no plans of stopping anytime soon. read more
