Lame decorating job on a cookie cake by the Meijer bakery
    John M.

My wife went to Meijer to get a cookie cake for our grandson. She asked at the bakery to get it personalized with his name and some decorations. I must admit I laughed at how bad it was. Our three year old granddaughter would have done better. Not centered, minimal effort. Of course my wife didn't say anything. I would have at least made fun of the person who did it to her face Won't be going there for cake again. What a shame, lack of effort in my opinion

This worker hates working and will not help you at the self checkout

Visited this location on 3/11/24 and came in contact with the self checkout worker Brian and and he was very rude and refused to assist me and clear the system so I can pay for my items. I bypassed multiple other stores to visit this one and to be treated as though I was an inconvenience to him, Sorry dude that you had to work today. Then when I told a manager whose name was Jeff, he acted as though he didn't care either. So over it. Wish I could give no stars

Your average Meijer location overall. It seems like it has been recently remodeled and they do a good job in keeping it clean and organized. As always, Meijer's prices aren't bad..on average probably right in between Target and Walmart. I will say they have some really good clearance sales from time to time. I've gotten some crazy good deals in the past. Their home and garden section is pretty nice..but maybe a bit overpriced..especially with their plants. The gardening accessories are reasonably priced for the most part though. The employees I've encountered here have been friendly. The store layout makes sense for the most part. It's kind of the opposite of a lot of other Meijer locations with the grocery side on the right and the retail side on the left..but otherwise it's pretty much the same as other locations. A fine enough Meijer if you're in the area and have the need to stop by.

(3.25) ~ pretty good conventional grocery store, but the best part is that it's open 24 hours;)

Matt E from outdoor had a cocky attitude and kept looking at me sideways and never asked to help. I needed help. A lot of it.

Well we went in to find out whom to speak to about looking at it more to possibly purchase. The greeter was a little helpful in that she directed us to the customer service center. Customer Service called Lawn and Garden to unlock the bike. As we walked by the greeter she wished us a good day and we said we were going to look at the bike she just helped us with the info. We go to the bike and the person unlocked it and my friend rode it around a bit and we decided we wanted it, but the tire was low one air and the brakes needed adjusted. We took the bike inside (lawn and garden person said to see Patrick in toys. We take the bike in and the greeter asked if we were needed to return the bike or exchange it (odd since we have talked to her twice in less than 5 minutes about looking at the bike) we told her where we were going. We found Patrick and he called Ken. Well Ken made the trip worth while. He looked at the bike, offered to not only look the bike over, but suggested we take the bike he just finished putting together. He brought it out and it was perfect, the only adjustment that was requested was changing the location of the Parrot. Ken did this without question. He is what customer service is all about and why the bike was worth the purchase. Oddly after paying for the bike the greeter still didn't recognize us.

Huy Fong Vietnam Chili Garlic sauce in a jar.... Hong Kong moon cakes in mini tins within a beautiful gift tin. Quail eggs, duck eggs (fresh or pickled), bok choy, bean sprouts, exotic greens. Dried noodles, dried peppers, dried shrimp. "Houston Cowboy" brand flavored soda from the Philippines. Spare ribs, pork loin, ground pork, pork hearts, a whole pig's head looking right at me from the butcher section. A wall of frozen foods, didn't study them but I did notice pot stickers (imported from an Asian country, needless to say). English as a second (or third) language on every can, box and bag. Oh.... and Tiger Balm! It's a fully complete small local independent super mart. As a native New Yorker of Italian and Polish descent, I'd call this store THE most authentic, and complete, Asian mart in the area ... perhaps the only one, too? Been here twice, the other shoppers were all Asians, as were the staff. Felt like I was back on Main Street in Flushing for a while. Which is cool. The first time we stopped in, I bought a small jar of that chili garlic sauce, which is made by the same folks who bring you Sriracha rooster sauce. In fact the jar has the same rooster logo. Never saw it anywhere else and wanted to try it. That jar got used up PDQ so we came back today for the large economy size. And of course grabbed some other goodies as well. Gotta love those happy Asian cakes, cookies, and crunchies. Prices were more than reasonable, if you're looking to stock up on any type of Asian goods, I'd say skip Jungle Jim and come here instead. Friendly employees/owners, too, who seemed happily amused by my enthusiasm for Hello Kitty - and my reaction to the pig's head. Ahh, would that we had a similar ITALIAN mart within striking distance! I continue to hope and dream. This place is meant to be Asian, though, and since Asian it is, and a complete market, five stars it is.

She answered my questions and helped me find things. The produce, although a little disorganized, was fresh. Some of the packages simply said "vegetable" and I'm sure regular customers know what they are looking for, but again, I got lots of help. I wasn't impressed with the meat but I did get frozen salmon and halibut. The store is a bit cluttered but I think that it's fine. Don't be bougie about it and you'll be glad you went. I got a ton of fresh food for $42.
