We have been shopping with Meijer's for years wherever we find them. Sadly, we don't have one near us. But this one is near my daughter's house who we drive up to see a few times a year. IF I'm staying with our daughter for a week we will hit this Meijer at least three times and we load up my pickup and bring things home we can't find anywhere else. Ok, a great bakery, good deli, large produce with a larger than normal organic section, far more and better groceries than a Super Walmart too. All the sisal stuff you expect and then more. If you combined the best of Target and your favorite grocery store, Walmart prices, and better trained staff than any of them all rolled together you'd have this Meijer's. read more

unfortunately I was extremely disappointed in my recent Meijer experienc. I go every week to 10 days and spend at least $200 or more on my order. this specific time I had a terrible experienc!!! one specific employee who questioned everything I bough, to the point of making me feel uncomfortable!!!! my total bill was over $150 , and he specifically questioned everything I bought to the point of looking at what I scanned and questioning the validity!! ! only after proving all items were correct,, he let me proceed to check out!, while other people were not even questioned! L!!! this is definitely disrespectful and discrimination!!!!!! I'm beyond annoyed and disappointed in the way I was treated. My wife went to Meijer to get a cookie cake for our grandson. She asked at the bakery to get it personalized with his name and some decorations. I must admit I laughed at how bad it was. Our three year old granddaughter would have done better. Not centered, minimal effort. Of course my wife didn't say anything. Visited this location on 3/11/24 and came in contact with the self checkout worker Brian and and he was very rude and refused to assist me and clear the system so I can pay for my items. I bypassed multiple other stores to visit this one and to be treated as though I was an inconvenience to him, Sorry dude that you had to work today. I'm usually a Kroger's customer. However, Meijer was next to my morning appointment. I'm disabled and always use the motorized carts. I was checking out with difficulty and an employee, Taylor W asked if she could assist me. After swallowing my vanity I allowed Taylor to help me. Upon lifting one of my reusable bags the straps snapped. It wasn't a good day. However, Taylor went and retrieved two new bags. She went way out of her way and this old man greatly appreciates it. I'd like to give her a 5, but the store disappointed me when I attempted to call the manager twice. I called twice and was placed on hold both times approaching a combined wait of 20 minutes. I wanted to let the manager know what a great employee he has in Taylor. Next time I'm in the store I'll have to track down the manager. I do wonder if anyone answers the phone at the store. Your average Meijer location overall. It seems like it has been recently remodeled and they do a good job in keeping it clean and organized. As always, Meijer's prices aren't bad..on average probably right in between Target and Walmart. I will say they have some really good clearance sales from time to time. I've gotten some crazy good deals in the past. Their home and garden section is pretty nice..but maybe a bit overpriced..especially with their plants. The gardening accessories are reasonably priced for the most part though. The employees I've encountered here have been friendly. The store layout makes sense for the most part. It's kind of the opposite of a lot of other Meijer locations with the grocery side on the right and the retail side on the left..but otherwise it's pretty much the same as other locations. A fine enough Meijer if you're in the area and have the need to stop by. read more

This location was just recently redone. Looks great. No real complaints at this location other than the fact that you can't always find somebody if you have a question. But, that's not uncommon at some of these big stores. As with most Meijer locations, this place has everything all Under One Roof. Grocery, clothing, seasonal, Electronics, housewares, Hardware, Auto, Etc. Would I go back? Absolutely. Whenever I need something, or anything for that matter, I would definitely go back to Meijer. read more

So I've been quite complimentary of this Meijer in the past, and we will more than likely be coming back here. However, this store has a problem with expired products in it's dairy section. More often than not, we have had to reach all the way to the back of their shelves to get yogurt that is not near expiration if not already expired. The most egregious case was today (12/15), when we had to clear through 10 tubs of yogurt expired on 11/20 to get one that expires on 12/24. So beware. read more

I placed a pick up order on April 17, I set it up for a pick up order on Saturday, April 20 between 7 and 8 PM and I even got a text and email when I placed the order, that is the pick up time and date. and usually they will text me if there's any issue, but I never got a text. I noticed that I did not get a text that my order was ready on Saturday, April 20, so I started driving to the store and I called the store. I talked to an associate in pick up and asked why I didn't get a text and if my order is ready. He said there was no order and check my email. I checked my email and it showed my order being placed on the 17th and it was canceled on April 18. I hardly ever look at My Email so I didn't even realize. I had no idea or clue. he asked for my order number which I gave him and he said well, they pulled your order on April17th and you never came to pick it up? I said that's because my pick up was on Saturday, April 20, which is showing in my email as being Saturday, April 20. he said there was no order picked for today. So I wasted my time ordering and my gas driving to the store and they refused to re-order and pick my items that I had ordered three days prior! There is a lot of irresponsibility at this store, I hadn't had too many issues in prior pick ups, but this was a huge inconvenience and I needed that food That evening and no later. I asked to talk to a manager and he would not transfer me to a manager. I guess it's time to do pick up orders at Kroger instead. read more

This Meijer location is easy to find, as it is located right off the Tylersville exit. I like this mainly for the Starbucks located inside. The store is kept clean and easy to navigate. With a wide variety of food and household items you can usually find what you need and then some. You will find that prices are slightly higher than your local Kroger but quality is excellent. Not a bad place to shop. I go in late st night and usually have the store to myself, which is great. They seem to maintain the store very well for its age. I use the SCO's, self check outs almost always, and one of the Meijer employees that is watching over the register will normally come over and bag my items for me. Prices are average, I know I could drove down one exit on 75 and go to Walmart to get better prices and they (Walmart) will match all local competitors, but I am usually to tired to go that extra drive so late at night. Fire my larger shopping nights I will go down their. When shopping the general merchandise areas I can almost always find help if I have a question as to where something is, which is great in a store as large as Meijers. read more

Meijer is a superstore with food and clothes with a lot in between. They have a decent selection but the prices tend to me a little higher. They have about 8 self check outs for 20 items and under and the rest are regular cashiers. There tends to be a wait for checking out. Meijer is good to pick up your lottery tickets as there usually isn't much of a line at the customer service desk. read more

I've shopped at this Meijer location for many years, as it's close to where I grew up. Unfortunately, the store has gone downhill despite the recent remodeling for the following reasons: -On multiple occassions, the produce is not stocked. If the same items are selling out at a fast pace, it may be beneficial to increase stock on the back end. These are items such as avocados, bananas, green onions, dry herbs, amongst others. It is inconvenient to have to go to another grocery store when this one is so large. -In the past, when employees were roaming the floor, they always offered to help. They also aided in helping people find the right line to get into during peak hours. Now, employees on the floor usually just focus on their core job and monitor the lines from a distance. In a recent interaction, I was standing at the meat counter waiting for service. The employee was all of 5 feet away from me but kept her back turned the entire time, while cleaning a machine. Finally after waiting, I asked if I could get service. She just stared at me and said "Yes." Then says "What do you want". It sounded quite rude and as if I were inconveniencing her. In another interaction, I stopped in around 8:30 in the morning to grab a few items. Their systems were unexpectedly down longer than they expected, which kept the products and prices from being recognized. The employee trying to help was getting frustrated with me and other shoppers because we didnt know the correct prices. Although I check the price when I pick up the item, I do not remember them all and am not responsible for a system malfunction. I unfortunately will choose to shop elsewhere given the number of problems I've had here lately. read more

Meijer always has great produce - always better than Kroger - and you don't need a store card. The groceries are in logical order as is the rest of the store. You can get pretty much anything you need here - car needs, personal care, groceries, clothes, shoes, pharmacy, Starbucks, bakery. They always have Purel wipes for the carts too which is a huge plus. Meijer in Weste Chestre is a fine, shiny, hypermarket with clothes, appliances, video games, food, candy, a bank, etc. etc. It was Super-Target before Super-Target came to the Cincinnati area, just not quite as chic. As a grocery store, it has a full selection of all of the standard items, with a few extra international selections, but nothing out of the ordinary for a modern grocery store. It seems like it's slightly more expensive than my local Kroger - organic milk was $3.25 for a half gallon, and my Kroger usually has it on sale for $2.89. Hot dog buns are $1.30 for standard white, while Kroger usually has them going for 99¢ for a bag of eight. But then, you have to consider that West Chester's golf course community Wetherington is right behind this Meijer, so they need to stretch out the prices. I'm a store-brand shopper, and Kroger has them beat here for selection and price. On name brand stuff, I honestly don't know who's cheaper. The layout is bright, clean, cheery, and the aisles are wide enough to drive an SUV through. The wine and beer selection is large, and not terribly fancy. This store has no liquor department, so all "liquor" is diluted, but they have cordials and pre-mixed cocktails. The checkout has six crammed together express self-check-out lanes, and three or four unlimited item self-check-out lanes. The full-service lanes aren't as full service as you may be expecting. They'll put your groceries in bags for you, but you load your own cart apparently. There is a U.S. Bank branch inside the store, with better hours than a normal bank. Pros: bright, cheery, huge breadth of selection, easy to shop when it's not a peak hour, buy your household goods and groceries at the same time. Less bleak than Wal-Mart. Wide selection of store-brand items. Cons: not the cheapest groceries, no liquor, not a "deep" selection of esoteric and gourmet items. Less chic than Target. Not as many store-brand items as Kroger. Tip: Meijer cheezy treats (off-brand crunchy Chee-Tos) are delicious. read more

You can get anything basically from clothes to stationary to sports equipment. There is also a nice embroidery place there that I got hats done at and a Starbucks. read more

I popped by this grocery story out of convenience and wow...lots of things were out of stock. Prices were pretty expensive compared to other major chain grocers. Also, the layout is confusing.
