If I could give a NO star review I would!!!!!! If you want hassle free shopping and competent answers you to questions go literally anywhere else! I had items I ordered online and spent 20 mins in line on Saturday to return them. Then when I got to the front of the line I was told that Walmart and Capitol one longer have a contract and that I would need to call customer service to cancel the return I did online and gave them reprocess a new one. So I spent over an hour on the phone with Walmart.com where they finally and I mean finally get it taken care of. So I go back today to the same store with the items and they refunded minus 1 cent due to taking me at different rates. Instead of correcting it the guy just told me he can't fix it. I'm writing this not because I need the penny but think about this...if Walmart does this o every person who returns an item less one cent how much they are making off had working American. Typically, there are two types of Walmarts I have encountered. Those that are really nice and those that are horrible. This is one of the nicest Walmarts I have been to. It has an excellent grocery department with fresh produce and good meats. I have gone here for incidental purchases and they have a great variety of items for automotive, home repairs, gardening, grill accessories, hygiene products and more. Lots of space and things are arranged well within the store and are easy to find. Staff is very friendly, yesterday I was having trouble getting a plastic bag open at the automated checkout lane and a man immediately was there to help me. The electronics department is great as well and it is not hard to find someone to open the case to get a product like a game to purchase. I do wish they would not have people in the store doing promotions. Most days I go they have people by the pet food doing promotions for phone or cable or charity's. Makes it less fun to shop when I feel like there are people judging me. Also Saturday mornings are for shoppers that do not like noise. They have low sensory hours during Saturday mornings here, and while this is not an issue for me, I still enjoy going during this time as you don't have all the noises the machines make constantly going off. I am impressed with this particular Walmart. I have never been to another Walmart line it. It's aways clean, the aisles are wide, there are always people to help and even the people who run the pharmacy are great. The grocery part is always fresh and well stocked. The happiest guy works as a greeter and is always there to help with other things. I wish I knew his name, he's a tall older fella. Whomever manages this store is doing a great job. read more

Each time my family and I shop at Walmart we are always encountering problems with the employees including employees whose stocking items on shelves blocking our paths and "daring us to walk down aisles where they are working at," so we cannot comfortable look for things we are shopping for. Also I hear disparaging remarks hurled at me by certain Walmart employees when I am checking my groceries out. And employees have been bullying us and at times refused to give us room so we can comfortably walk down the aisles sending nonverbal messages that we are in their way and we should not walk down the aisles to get what we are shopping for. I doubt that those employees would treat us in a rude , nasty manner if we were men shopping in the store. read more

So this is probably the only Walmart in the entire Houston area that I fool with. Even at their busiest and during the holidays, they're not *busy*--likely due to the quiet neighborhood--and they literally have everything. Getting to this one is a pain, only because it's less of a straight shoot from my home than the one on Louetta, but that one is always so crowded, has the rudest patrons and with all irony, never has ANYTHING in stock. So yes, I'm a lifer for this particular location. Every visit is in and out with everything I need, and a staff who actually knows where things are. read more

I don't live in this area but because I was working in the area I decided to stop to get my oil change here and let me tell you guys that I will definitely be coming back because Jesus did such a great job and recommended me a better oil change for my Kia Optima. I am a regular customer at this location. I recently had purchased some items that got marked down. I had the tags, hangers and receipt for the items I purchased, however I was rudely told by the front end manager Shoronda that I could not get a price adjustment. I told them that I will go ahead and return the items and purchase them back for the price that they are now. Manager Shoronda told me that I could not purchase them back and that I would have to locate them in the store the next day, when they would be able to put them back on the floor. She went on and on about the store having a limit on the quantity that customers can purchase, I guess to make a point. To me that was irrelevant to what I was there for. I asked where these policies are listed, she then told me that they are no where listed in the store and that is her store's policy. WOW! I just cannot believe how rude a manager can be to a customer. If this is the customer service that management is being trained and expected to perform, who and what customers would want to continue to shop at this location? read more

We recently went to their auto service department and had our battery checked. Our battery needed to be replaced and the guys there said they couldn't replace the battery in our Infiniti FX 35 because they would have to remove the panel to get to the battery. (The day we went, they were not busy what so ever) The Walmart on 242 has changed my husband's battery on his Infiniti without a hassle so I called them asking if they could change the battery and they said they could. We went to their location and they did it. We will keep going to the 242 location even though this new Walmart is down the street from us. read more

I am so disappointed in Walmart - this is a long story but I must vent! Yesterday I purchased a dehumidifier for $119.00 after getting home I said I don't think they charged me sure enough they didn't so I took the bar codes off the box and said tomorrow after church I'll go pay them- here's the funny part this is what Pastor Rick preached about - integrity/honest- told a story of a girl at the donut shop that gave them money back as they gave her a $20 and it should have been a $5.00- so I go to Walmart on Riley Fuzzell as planed- I ask for store manager he says I'm a store manager so I show him what happened looked like I was charged $6.27 for it- he literally had tears and was just amazed he calls another manager and says please come meet and help the most honest person I have ever met in my life (yes I was feeling proud-LOL!) I told him thank you but it wasn't right as I didn't get charged. He says I understand but we just don't have people do this. Lady comes up to help she also was so thankful and just couldn't believe I came in. She tries three times to ring it up it finally ring up at $6.97!!! She says with a smile let me go see if my main manager will give it to you for $6.97 I'm like seriously ??? She says I'll be right back - she comes back and says no he tells me to charge you the $119.00 then she says YOU didn't do anything wrong that's our fault I say no way- so if I went and purchased another one I'm going to pay $6.97??? She said yes ma'am she felt the same as I did that was not right of that manager she even told him I had been waiting a long time and I was so patient- he says charge her $119.00- so we did the charge - the more I thought about it then I got upset- that wasn't right of him plus didn't even get a thank you from him never saw his face, don't know his name. So if you need a dehumidifier go grab one you can get it for $6.97-LOL!! He just made me loose faith in mankind but I still did the right thing- it all comes back to you when your honest right everyone have a Blessed day!!! Nice people, clean store! I often travel, and this is by far the nicest WM I have experienced. Any time I have returns the employee is very efficient. I love the friendly greeter, the lady in crafts, and the woman who works self checkout. I especially appreciate that the store and bathroom are kept clean. And when we had hurricane Harvey, they had lots of checkers working and pallets of water. Thank you, Spring WM! read more

Don't believe their latest TV ad showing a bright employee helping customers out. It sure does not happen at this store. Took me half an hour for someone to check stock in the back and had to shout just to get the attention of one stocker as he had music blaring thru his ear plugs. The other two employees hardly spoke English to find what I needed. Then the so called speedy checkout lane had their problems with having to call a manager for help. Many grocery items are hard to find due to poor isle labeling. Thank goodness for next weeks grand opening of the nearby new Kroger. Worse customer service! They don't seem to understand basic customer service, professionalism, and coupons.

Ok this Walmart is ok. First of all I need to point out that the Walmart is always crowded. There people all our the neighborhoods going to this Walmart specifically. Everytime I go there it's crowded as heck, andThe self checkouts are always filled up and lines start to back up. There are very few lines open as regular chashiers, but the people there are friendly, and talkative. The one thing I really hate from this place and is mainly the reason why I'm giving this kinda a low review is because there's hardly any food at this Walmart. I do my weekly shipping and early in the week as well. Everytime I go in the deli department it's almost empty or even some of the grocery isles like pasta or even the chip isles. Walmart is always out of something. When I go. If someone who works at Walmart you need to know this location needs help. You need more people working in lines and more stock for your customers. This location especially is crowded. Out of ten I have to give Walmart spring a 7.5 out of ten it's great but I still think it needs a little work just a little. read more

Walmart on Sawdust Rd, worst customer service ever!!! I'm an intelligent human being, do not treat me lIke I'm stupid as I'm sure my Masters degree beats your GED. I bought a phone card for my daughter's cell phone to use as a hot spot. I asked the electronics people if it would work with an AT&T phone, reply ugh yes it says AT&T on the front of the card. Paid $25 for the card, went to AT&T and they told me that it will not work on a contracted phone. It is a busy time of year, so I go to Walmart today and try to return the phone card and the first girl at the customer service counter tells me the card is not returnable. Hmm, I was never told that bit of information and I requested to speak with a supervisor. Second lady tells me she will try to refund it since I have my receipt and it has never been opened, oh but wait the purchase was over 30 days ago, third lady lady chimes in and says no, phone cards are not returnable after 15 days. They do not even know the policies for the company that they work for. How in the world is the public supposed to know if they are not posted for all to see ? Needless to say I did not end up getting my money back. I will now be taking my business to Target! read more
