Parking lot is awkward to get into on the hill Store is large and organized like every other Walmart..... However.... Everything is locked up. Deodorant, all hair care,lotion, batteries.... Today I leave a 1 star because there is no 0! I placed a grocery order, 15 items. I only received 7 of the 15 items and the items that I did order for my dinner tonight DID NOT COME!!!! The delivery person, Omer (I'll hold off on his last name) did not ring my door bell as listed. This is the worse delivery I have ever experienced with Walmart's delivery people. Omer needs to be fired & I hope Walmart takes this into consideration & seriously checks these reviews out & interviews their delivery people very careful. Some of us depend & appreciate these deliveries in the case that we may be sick at the time or some people can't physically do their own shopping and to miss items and have a disrespectful delivery person can pose quite a problem. Let me start of with I love items from Walmart and love to come and shop here however it becomes quite frustrating when what I needed was locked up and we had pressed the button a good 5-6 times and waiting about 35 mins for a Walmart associate to help get the one thing we needed out of the cage. Bought a pack of hot dogs made my kid sick. Took them back day after buying them with no receipt tried to tell them more so that they need to check the dates on the ones that are on the Shelf wanted to exchange them for a different hot dog and they would not allow it has to be the same exact ones. This store is like a roller coaster when it comes to management. Started out great then went in the toilet for years. Then got a manager named Jim who really got things into shape, but he must have left because the last year or two it's been terrible again. Many items on shelves with no price, and most of the check stands now don't show price on customer side of display, so you still don't know what you're being charged. Doing a terrible job keeping the shelves stocked too. Don't even get me started on the bakery where it's not unusual to have their baked Italian and French bread up to 3 days old...life's too short for stale bread! read more

Back to Walmart for my son's weekly dvd run... Interesting, one thing that I have noted is that "boxed" stores such as Walmart and Target have had a larger selection of dvds and blu rays. Could they be coming back? The jury is still out. The one thing that I have appreciated, being a parent of a son with special needs, is Walmart has unpacked some of those dvds and put them back on the rack. Thank you Walmart. It is difficult for someone in a wheelchair to make the needed reaches to get in a dig around in those dvd bins. Luckily, I can help my son look for the dvds he is looking for. Though I don't suspect Walmart had special needs adults in mind when they made this change, it is very much appreciated! read more

Today, 8 February 2025, my wife and I went to the Walmart Supercenter on Pyramid Way in Sparks, Nevada for a scheduled appointment at 12:20 PM to receive vaccinations. We are both senior citizens with Medicare (A&B) as Primary and private insurance as secondary. We both have diagnosed medical conditions meeting the requirement for Medicare to function as the primary payer for vaccinations. Both of us were there for a Covid-19 vaccination and, in addition, my wife was supposed to receive the Pneumonia vaccine. We arrived a few minutes ahead of the appointment time and registered with "Rolando" (His badge read: "Rolando, Customer Service in Training") at the Pharmacy and submitted both of our Medicare and private insurance cards for processing. We were quickly told by Rolando that our insurance did not recognize either of us as clients of our secondary insurance, a company where we have been insured for over 30 years. He told us to call our insurance company. As to our primary coverage under Medicare he completely avoided taking any of the information from our Medicare documentation and returned our Medicare cards without perusing any of the information on those documents. He told my wife that our Medicare only covered Hospital situations, although our cards are clearly marked to include both Medicare part A and B. A quick review at CMS.gov, the U.S. government website for Medicare, reveals: "Medicare Part B covers the following types of vaccines and their administration: Preventive vaccines specified in statute: Examples include the Influenza, COVID-19, Pneumococcal, and Hepatitis B vaccines, which are used to prevent illness" https://www.cms.gov/medicare/payment/part-b-drugs/vaccine-pricing Rolando did not check with anyone else at the Pharmacy regarding his erroneous handling of this situation and so we opted to go elsewhere since he was of neither disposition nor inclination to be of any real "Customer Service", whether "in Training" or in reality. He was of no help. More "Training" is needed. Subsequently later this afternoon, my wife called Walgreens at the corner of Pyramid Way and Eagle Canyon in Sparks and the pharmacist advised her she did not need an appointment, and we could just show up as walk ins at their facility. We did just that and were received cordially at the pharmacy desk at 2:28 PM today and we completed all the questions required in the screening process, reviewed our Medicare and secondary health insurance information and the Walgreens employee said that there was no problem with any of our insurance or information. Walgreens had exactly the same information that we presented to "Rolando, Customer Service in Training" only about 2 hours after we left Walmart and "Rolando". We left the Walgreens facility with vaccinations completed at 2:53 PM today, a total time of only 25 minutes to do all the preliminary paperwork, insurance verification and RECEIVE THE VACCINATIONS. 25 minutes for the whole shebang. Linda who worked on the makeup area on Sunday morning( 05/25/25 )was rude & disrespectful. She was mad when she was asked to open up the glass for customers. (she was mad she had to do her job wow) Others and I had been waiting for a while. How can one shop comfortably if they lock everything up, leaving customers to wait 10+ minutes to get one item at a time. Although Walmart has good prices on many things and typical has a wide range of selections, we do not go there very often. The quality of the produce is normally not the best and the service has become atrocious over the years. We decided to pick up some necessities and due to the current environment with the Covid-19 virus we chose to order online for pickup at the store. We placed our order on Thursday about 2pm and were told via the online confirmation that it would be ready the same day before 8pm and we would receive a second email notifying us when it was ready to be picked up. We were not notified until the following day at about 3pm that the order was ready which included six household items (no groceries) they had in stock. That meant it took just over 24 hours for someone to go pick up the six items in the store and bring them to the front for pick up. After we were told they would be ready for pickup the same day. We were not able to pick them up on Friday and arrived about 1pm on Saturday. We walked inside to the pickup location after finding out they only deliver groceries to your car in the car pickup parking spots. We stood at the pickup tower for 10 to 12 minutes after we checked in with our order number before anyone approached us. We could see from the TV screen that we were second in line but we never saw anyone else waiting. When someone finally did arrive, we were asked how we were doing. To which we replied, "We are fine, thank you, how are you?" The response we received was very close to: "I told my GM (or DM) that if anyone gave me any trouble that I was going to cuss them out today and they told me to go for it." We did not know how to respond to that so, we said nothing. We wish we were able to get his name to share but he had something covering his name badge. When he did arrive at the pickup tower he was carrying a small bag with two of our items, two of our items were in a locker and he had to go pick up two other items somewhere else at the front of the store. Nothing was in the pickup tower. The whole point of doing an online order for pickup is to reduce or eliminate the need to interact with folks (which right now is extremely important) and for convenience. This experience was not at all convenient and it makes absolutely no sense why our order wasn't in the same location (either the locker or the tower). I doubt we will return or attempt to do another pick up here unless we absolutely have to. Every time we give Walmart another chance we quickly are reminded why we will continue to support other businesses in the area. read more

I will not be returning to this location. From the being overcharged and then the employees with unprofessional customer service, I'm surprised there's not more complaints and reviews on here. Make sure to check every item you scan through the self check out. An item that was supposed to be .66 cents, rang up at $4.66. Another item that was supposed to be .25 cents, rang up at $3.99. C'mon wally, get your prices right!! I asked the young boy that was watching the self checkout, why don't they fix these errors. His reply, "it's walmart"! I mean that was funny but unprofessional answer. The girl at the customer service was extremely not intelligent to be nice about it. I asked her why are these items coming up at $4.66, her reply, "because you bought a six pack of them". I said, you only see two right not six? She just looked at me and said, I'll refund you but those produce guys are lazy and not doing their job. So much for standing up for the company and co-workers. This Wally's is huge and has everything you could possibly need, but it's not necessarily where you think it would be. We spent an hour looking for Brita/PUR water filters and almost gave up. We asked 4 different sales associates and only the last one seemed to know exactly where to find the filters. Luckily we were not in a hurry and there weren't many people in the store while we were there. Checkout was simple at the self-checkout machines. Note that the pickup area for this location is way off to the right side of the store if you're facing the entrance. Stalls 1-5 are almost to the back and around the corner of the building while 6-10 are the first ones you'll see. I called upon arrival and the girl asked if I would drive up to stall 1 as it is closer to the door where they pop out. On a cold night that makes sense but they should probably put up a sign that says drive up door with arrows so people don't stop at the first pickup stall they see. read more

While this Walmart is my go-to location, it too is unfortunately going downhill like many of the other locations. It is nicely located and I do appreciate it's easy access (minus the current road construction, but that is no fault of the store). I usually have pleasant interactions with the staff. However, it seems they are always low stock on items and they are locking more and more stuff up just like the other locations. I understood when they moved the makeup to it's own department, but now, every single cabinet is locked up! I wanted to look at hair ties for my daughter, but I refuse to sit and have to wait for someone to come unlock it, then make it a separate purchase at that counter. I gave up on the idea of having someone come unlock a cabinet a few years ago when I tried to purchase pregnancy tests and sat around waiting for no one to show up after pressing the call button. The store isn't as clean as it used to be and the bathrooms are always a mess. Their children's clothing section is usually in order, which is nice, as well as the shoes. The chicken restaurant inside is nothing special - the food is bland and the staff aren't friendly. They also have a lot of their self-check out stations closed which is highly inconvenient when that's what the majority of the store is now. I'm sad to see this location in this state as it was one of the better ones in town. I hope that it'll come back to it's original state. read more

Almost 25 minutes to pick up an order, and there were only a handful of pick-up customers while I was there. I have COVID, so I wasn't able to enter the store. And that was not the bad part. Two phone calls to the pick-up phone number # on the sign. No answer, and voicemail was full. Two phone calls to the store main number. Transferred to the pick-up dept and associate line-no one answered either line. Called 800 "hotline" number for pick-up orders. On hold for almost 15 minutes. 800# employee returned to tell me that he had the same experience. A couple employees finally showed up and loaded my vehicle. Baby spinach was wilted. Ice cream was squishy soft. Requested refund online. No refund on the ice cream unless I return it. Gas is $5 a gallon, and I have COVID. And you want me to return the ice cream? read more

Walmart is known for its nationwide stores and name, but certain individual stores are just worse than usual. This location is definitely one of those. Mainly because nothing is ever in stock it's just out of control that this place can never keep anything in stock. The second problem with this place is the delivery or online ordering which never works the way it's supposed to either they have to substitute something cuz they don't have it or the inept single digit IQ clerks that go grab the stuff don't know what they're looking for so they just give up and don't even get the item. Ridiculous! On more than five occasions now since I've used the delivery service they have delayed my delivery or they just didn't deliver it at all! This is ridiculous and absolutely unacceptable since there are certain items that I needed that day. I made complaints to corporate Walmart about this and something needs to be done. read more

I dropped off a couple of VHS tapes in the latter part of July to be converted to DVDs. In a month, because I hadn't heard anything, I called. They told me they hadn't been sent out yet, so I told them I was going to come in to the store to pick them up. A few days later, when I tried to retrieve them, I was told that they had been shipped a few days earlier. That was the latter part of August. Starting in October, I tried calling the store, but could never get through to the department - got passed around until I gave up. Today, two and a half months later, I went to the store. After at least a 15 minute wait for someone to help me, the woman rummaged around trying to find out what happened to my VHS tapes. They were in the drawer, where the original clerk placed them in July. Nothing had been done at all. I was lucky to have retrieved them. Sorry, Walmart.
