We had to get a new battery for our truck.. thankfully if you purchase your battery at Walmart they will replace it for you. Daniel helped us and he was quick and friendly! WALMART I REALLY don't understand you!!!!! I NEVER thought I would need to write a review on Walmart.... WHY??? Bec who doesn't go to Walmart lol even when you don't NEED to go to Walmart BUT here we are!! This location in my opinion is kind of hidden BUT it does have some GREAT finds and that what drew me to this location but customer service eh not so great!! Let me come back AROUND to that statement in a bit As your well aware of SPACIOUS parking lot as well as little store gathered around with new shops being built so it's quite a cute location. The store is clean and organized and that for me is AWESOME and it's peaceful YES peaceful because like I said it's a out of the way location. Ok here we go... there is a type of feeling in the air that for me I just don't like. I have been to this location several times thinking just maybe it was me and it's always the same experience. Now knowing that Walmart experiences multiple thefts it can be quite understandable that they are on guard but when employees blatantly stand IN FRONT of you as you ring up your food and ONLY specific type of people it is TRULY disheartening and frustrating for me as a patron. When they allow certain people to go pass them at the exit BUT always manage to stop you and people who are of a type of persona it becomes a matter of profile. I am disappointed because my family and I normally LOVE Walmart and have been frequenting it for MANY years. I will say get it together Walmart and DO BETTER! I like the new layout but I will say. The last two times I've been recently I've literally seen people stealing. I saw a couple walk through the self check out with a case of beer. They walked right through the aisle and straight to the door where nobody was checking. Then today I walked up to a self check out a little after a couple just left and the total of $400 was still waiting to be paid. I told the girl that was running the self check out. I'm not sure if they caught them but I can see y'all losing a lot of money to these self checkout registers. Wal mart figure it out. Smh read more

Tried to get a job there and jovoni the hiring manager gave me the job but never sent me a email or called me and the general manager Michael told me that jovoni told him not to hire me because I'm 17 even though im not in school and I can work 2-11 but they want something from a school when I hav my transcript from my old high school. So today I go and talk to the store manager to try to get answers on why they promised me a job but the store manager never let me talked she called me rude and told me to get out saying im not allowed in that store anymore JUST BECAUSE I WAS TRYING TO GET ANSWERS. This Walmart is a terrible establishment. I worked here for years and each location has such terrible management but store 3106 is the worst. After letting them know I well be leaving and accepting another job they fired me. They told me it was because of my absences but the schedule was not the same as the one a arranged with HR and I asked my manger if I go on the days I'm not supposed to be scheduled. Her answer was "yes". Next thing I know I'm being let go because of my absences that were the fault of the managers imputing my schedule incorrectly. Also after having confirmation from my manger to follow my own schedule THAT I APPLIED FOR im told I need to let a coach know about the issue and that NO ONE US GUARANTEED A SCHEDULE. Im sorry then what is the point of filling out and availability sheet when I accepted the job offer? Not only was I not told this in ALL OF MY YEARS OF WORKING THERE but they refused to let me explain the information I was told to compare to what they are telling me now. After firing me for their own petty reasons EVERY PERSON IN management stood outside to smoke, laugh and watch me leave. Then I get a message from a manager a few days later saying "their hands were tied" when I know for a fact I did everything my boss told me and it resulted in me getting fired. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU FIND OTHER PLACES OF EMPLOYMENT! Specifically store 3106 is unorganized, petty, and toxic. When working at this location my department was always being talked down to and bullied because many people wanted that position but it was hard to get into. Management and even random associates from other departments would randomly come into our department just to say " oh look they all are just standing around talking and not working" when in actuality all work is done and we are waiting for our bosses to drop another work load on us so we can work. I promise I would not be writing this review unless I know it could help someone. THIS LOCATION(3106) IS DOWN RIGHT DREADFUL AND HATEFUL ! Whoever the management is..they are freaking horrible. Nothing is stocked or zoned correctly. I go to the craft section where the scrapbooks are and its like the employees never make it over there to zone. Been waiting for a 12x12 scrapbook paper protectors to come in and it's been about 2 months now. I've asked an employee to put it down that they don't have any in stock. Sweet girl but her managers suck. A lot of the employees are nice and some do stock and zone very well and take pride in their work. But not all of them do. And if the managers don't care then it's harder for the employees to give a rats ass. Advice for this Walmart: get a better manager for the craft section at least. Geez. And learn how to zone and how to properly stock your shelves. Make sure items on the pallets are not going to stick out by 2 feet too. read more

Went In to pick up my prescription that was sent from my doctor. Asked how long it would take they stated it would take 45min . I opted into their text messaging & was told I would get a message as soon as it was ready so I waited one hour . when I went to ask... pharmacy was close!!! No text message! No meds! For a new Walmart this place is pretty bad. The store is dead quiet and apparently they don't run the air conditioner because the two times I've been there felt like I was walking in a sauna. As with every Walmart restroom, it was filthy, only one water faucet worked and the soap dispenser was empty. The people working there are very unfriendly and they should go over to aisle#15 and pick up a personality. I'll be sticking with HEB for all my grocery needs for now on read more

Beautiful new store, landscaped nicely, within walking distance of my house. Just hoping it will be well maintained as it would be a real shame to see it end up like the one on Flores St. Looking forward to the convenience of one-stop shopping at my neighborhood Walmart. Had tire repair performed. First it took over 2 hours and when they said it was finished, we walked out to the truck and saw the "repaired" tire was almost flat. Went back inside to tell them and they argued that fact that it was low. Keep saying the PSI was fine. We asked for the to double check the repair and they proceeded to argue about the tire being fine. Asked for a manager and got someone who didn't know Automotive and said so, she proceeded to blame it on the fact they were short staffed and that someone just quit this morning. She openly admitted that she didn't know about the auto section and she didn't really know what to say except the workers said it was fixed. Any way won't go here again. read more

It's a great store all in all. Fully stocked at all times, very neat and organized. Clean Bathrooms, and nice big isles to maneuver your cart through. Unfortunately it does close at midnight which is a little inconvenient considering all other walmarts in the area are 24/7, but maybe that extra 6 hours of customer free time will help them keep the store as nice as it is. The only other complaint that I would have is that the cashiers have been unbearably slow every time I've visited. Even though I really am a fairly patient person, it borders on ridiculous how slow they can be. Maybe they are all still too new... I hope they get into the groove of things soon! read more
