Bought foot massager for $117 for my wife, was told later she had wanted a different one. No problem... i thought... tried to return the unopened, unused, and unfinished product to the store I bought it from with the receipt in hand. Turns out they won't even give me store credit because the item is over $100. Very upset with my experience and don't see a point in continuing to patronize a business that won't work with me on an honest mistake that will literally cost them nothing to resolve. read more

Was very annoyed that they do not have self checkout open in the mornings at this store and only have two registers going. Usually at this time, we are going to work and pressed for time. Also, it has been several times where I would say the "big wigs" are just gathered around doing nothing but just standing there. And NO greeting from any of them! That's pretty sad read more

*EXPERIENCE DURING CORONAVIRUS* Going to the grocery store has quickly turned into my least favorite thing to do since the stay at home order by the city. That is why this Target location has been my go-to when we are in need of a couple of grocery items. Compared to other stores, Target has wide hallways where you can actually keep your distance from other customers. This location is never too busy, so you can get in and out pretty easy. The staff has always been super helpful and they clorox wipe all the shopping carts ahead of time. Toilet paper is something you will definitely not find at this Target location, but their produce area is really well stocked. I am usually pretty happy about order pick ups and customer service at this Target, but not today. When my drive up order was brought out, I noticed an item was missing and told the workers. They looked it up and told me that I had canceled the item, but on my app, it was not canceled and I was still charged for it. I told them this but they kept arguing with me and wouldn't even look at the receipt that showed that I was being charged for the item. I gave up arguing because they obviously were not going to listen to anything I had to say. I got in my car and immediately reported the item missing on the app and got a refund for it, no thanks to the unhelpful Target workers. So I had to fix the problem myself. The sad thing is that I didn't get the item I wanted. Sometimes you need to listen to the customer because sometimes they are right. read more

I've been coming to this one a lot as of lately, and everyone is so nice. It's my favorite one. Not as crowded or messy as the forum location which is my other Target. The items are always available when I come here. From the Starbucks workers, the pizza/food line, guest service area, drive up and the cashiers.. I've had good experiences!! So friendly and laidback people. I wish i knew everyone's names so i could shout them all out!! Good job!! Management please take care of your staff they are amazing! This is my Target, and I can't imagine life without it (and I'm familiar with pre-Target life because my husband and I moved to the area prior to the build). This isn't a super Target--just a standard one. But I love it because it's never packed (at least not when I go), and it still manages to carry everything I need. I've been to other locations in town that are picked over and messy, and this one manages to avoid those pitfalls pretty well. Parking is perfect (there's always an available spot). The grounds are kept clean (both inside and out). And the selection is pretty good! No complaints here! I'm one happy customer. :) read more

I love Target ! and I frequent this store cause it has a decent size grocery section that I like , but today I encountered two of the WORST EVER target employee I have ever came across , Two employees were both were rude , unhelpful and argumentative. Come on this is like customer service I expect at Walmart not Target . Let me give you a small story I was at self check out , when i informed the employee the price was incorrect she said well that's the price regardless of the sign posted , I asked to speak to someone higher up she replied There isn't no one available, well I said I'll go to customer service , she followed me to customer service where the other employee was at , she followed me and told the other employee, I was trying to get something cheaper . First off don't accuse me of that , I know what the sign said . The employee at the service desk , literally took a deep breath mumble something and rolled her eyes at me . Positives: Whenever I do curbside pickup they are super speedy when filling the order and it's usually ready within an hour or two. Their staff is walking out the door with my order to my car within seconds of me pulling up. Overall great experience with Curbside Pickup! Negatives: I had to file a police report back in August because my car got scratched in their parking lot in broad daylight. Super frustrating. Also, during this COVID-19 time, I noticed an employee wearing their mask with their nose NOT covered, only covering their mouth. Also, I went in person to shop at 0800 when the store opened because the items I needed couldn't be picked up with curbside pickup, and luckily there weren't a lot of people there, BUT there were people walking around with NO MASK. Plenty of other establishments like Trader Joes are enforcing mask wearing if you want to shop there, and I wish Target did the same. It's super disappointing. read more

I came in here looking for some electrical products for my DVD player cords and an HDMI cord and the guys working there once I found one we're really helpful and went out of their way to make sure that my shopping experience was smooth. Went for a simple purchase, birthday card with a gift card. The one cashier who was working was too busy chatting it up with her bestie and promptly informed me her lane was closed (it was the only lane open). Asked who I presumed to be the manager if there was anyone whom could help with the gift card since I didn't think that could be a completely self check out item. I was informed she didn't have any other lanes open - not what I asked but cool. Clearly this Target is doing very well and doesn't really need business sonO won't be going back. I ordered Drive Up/curbside through the Target app and when I arrived the boy came to my car in a less than one minute and asked if I wanted items put in the backseat or trunk. The employee who brought my items was very courteous and wished me a good rest of the day. read more

WARNING! WARNING! SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK! We loved this store. Shopped there often for years. But be forewarned. They Do NOT take the health of their customers seriously. They require wearing masks, but do not follow their own guidelines. All businesses should take the wearing of protection seriously. We spotted people in the store with no mask, and one employee named Alex was seen in three different locations without a mask on. This store is not taking Covid-19 seriously. Like any female, I love Target and have good experiences at the many Targets across the U.S. so when I moved to San Antonio, I was expecting the same Target that I love. Out of the ten times I've been here, there were four instances that I had to deal with: 1) Not being able to locate an iPad keyboard that clearly says in stock on their Target App for that location. I spent a good 45 minutes during lunch hour waiting for three associates to locate the iPad keyboard. They looked in the back and I kept suggesting it was in the wrong location such as probably in the locked display case. They suggested that I order it and have it delivered to my house, but I already made the drive there...Finally, someone opened the display case and look, there's a few iPad keyboards in the wrong location. 2) Not scanning food items correctly. I went a few days before July 4th and they were having sales on their protein like chicken and beef hamburger patties. I thought I'd stock up for the holiday. The cashier didn't even scan the huge yellow stickers right in the middle of the packages. I had to double check the receipt when I walked out of the store. I had to come back in and go to customer service so that they can refund me the difference. 3) Not honoring the price of what's displayed on their Target app. I had saw on the app that a specific O.P.I. nail color was on sale. It didn't ring up a price so I showed the cashier what the online price was and she honored it. When I tried the color in the car, I really liked it so I thought I'd stock up. I went back in and grabbed one more. My original cashier had went on her break. I tried to do the same transaction with the new cashier. She called the manager on duty to check the price and would not match it the price so I just walked out, not having to deal with it. 4) Not believing in the customer. I've bought packs of twelve ICE sparkling water from this exact location before. The cashier says they don't sell it like that even though I brought up the package of twelve to the register from their exact shelf. She starts ringing them up individually. She calls her manager and the manager starts to ask someone to go check the pricing. The cashier keeps telling us and her manager that they don't sell it like that. Her manager shows her that they do. In the end, we did not end up getting it because it just took so long for them to decide to sell it to us that it wasn't even worth the fight... Overall, the customer service and the door greeters are always nice. I don't understand why the interactions with cashiers and managers are always a struggle. read more

If I could leave a zero I would, when my sister went to go return something. The first employee was lovely and wonderful, she asked another employee a question. The second employee was talking down to us like we are children. There was no reason for her to be rude at all, we weren't giving any push back at all. Having to go in to the store to check if something is actually in stock during this pandemic puts people in danger when they can just pick up the phone and answer ahead of time. What much is there to say. The interior set up and layout of this target is similar to any other target but unlike other SuperTarget's this one is well kept. I am very impressed by the attitudes of the workers. Unlike some Walmart's they seem to want to be there. This is one of the nicest targets I've ever been to. This is easily my favorite Target.. They always help me find vegan makeup/facial products for me and my daughter, they have the sweetest cashiers and I'm so use to them they myst have good retention because I've had my favorite for 2 years. And they have a wide vegan food selection here. I wish they had a more ethical fruit source than Driscoll's. I would but my fruit here have a more one stop shop experience if they did but ethical sourcing matters to me so I won't buy Driscoll's brand for their human rights issues and have to go to HEB for other brands and organic options. Okay, except for the Icee Nazi kid working in the snack shop, this Target is pretty much perfection. The layout is pretty similar to most, although I prefer this smaller version rather than the giant Super Targets that take 2 hours+ to get through. The clothes section is always neatly curated, the home decor section consistently has great clearance items, and the mini grocery section is just what one needs. Plus, I've discovered a great selection of wine and beer here too! I will never go to any other similar store within a 20 mile radius. read more

This Target hits the mark- I never leave empty-handed! They have a great selection of clothes, accessories, as well as groceries. Customer service on returns is excellent and the process was relatively quick. The staff is helpful and amiable, albeit scarce! My only complaint is that checking out can take awhile due to low staffing or slow checkers! read more

I have a friend that lives in this area, so we find ourselves coming in here quite a bit out of convenience since they have a market and the heb is further down the road. They have a decent selection of market items. I came for breakfast stuff and got some decent fresh fruit and artisan bread. I also was really happy with the patient and helpful staff. It was kinda hard for me to find what i needed and of course i was in a hurry. They answered every question and made sure i didn't need anything else. Guess that's what you get in alamo heights! My only beef was that though they did have a variety of things, there wasn't a lot of choice of size or brand. For example, i needed powdered sugar for the French Toast. I could find a ginormous bag that i had to buy or do without. There is no way anyone except the Duggar family would need that much powdered sugar! Oh well, convenience has its price, right? Also! They have a Starbucks in this location as well! Gotta love that! As well as all your other target items. Parking is always really easy as well. As a Lover of Target I'm disgusted at the level of customer service and the rudeness of the four staff members I encountered here, one of which was one of the managers on duty. No one was helpful yet overly aggressive and argumentative. I felt very uncomfortable, humiliated, disrespected and will NEVER return to this location again. read more
