This location has had some very much deserved TLC over the last few years, and it is probably one of the most "modern" looking Targets in San Antonio. This location has everything and anything you can imagine and more! From plants, to home decoration, groceries, clothing, school supplies, you name it! However, the main reason why I am not giving them a full five stars is because of the way this location has their product placement. They have items from the same category spread in two separate locations. Why? My guess it that they want customers to walk all over the store to find products. Here is one example, I was looking for Jurassic World toys for my kid and they had them spread in two locations of the store (toy section and a random path in other section of the store). Another example would be their school supplies sections which again was spread between two different locations, making us go back and forth to get what we actually needed. I would prefer if they had everything in one place and just let customers shop a little more efficiently instead of making us guess where the second part of what we are looking for is actually located.

There was a man standing there in front of the door and he tells me the restroom is closed and I can use the one by the pharmacy while pointing off in the distance. I ask him if someone is in there and he says yes, but if he let's me in then he has to let everyone else in and again he directs me to the pharmacy. I'm irritated now and really need to use the bathroom so I tell him that and he finally moves. After this I left and did not even buy anything I was so disgusted. When I arrived at the refrigerator display, I needed assistance moving the unit to the front of the store. I am 74 years old and was not willing to risk injuring myself by moving it alone. I saw an employee walking nearby and said, "Excuse me." He turned and looked directly at me, and I raised my hand to get his attention. Despite clearly seeing me, he continued walking without acknowledging me or asking whether I needed assistance. I asked my wife whether she had seen what happened because I could not believe that he had completely ignored me. What should have been an enjoyable purchase became a frustrating and upsetting experience. I then approached another employee named Daniella and asked for help taking the refrigerator to the front and loading it into my vehicle. She was very kind, attentive and eager to help. When I described the employee who had ignored me, she identified him as Gilbert from the electronics department. At my request, a manager named Chris came to speak with me. I explained what had happened and told him that Gilbert's behavior was discourteous and completely uncalled for. I eventually purchased the refrigerator and received the assistance I needed, but none of that assistance came from Gilbert. I remained upset on the drive home because of how I had been treated at Target that evening. Please counsel Gilbert about the importance of acknowledging customers and treating them with basic courtesy and respect. Employees should understand that older customers may genuinely need assistance with heavy merchandise. If this behavior continues after management has been made aware of it, then management must also accept responsibility for allowing it.

My return was done by the Store Manager who was blatantly rude the entire interaction because she was having to accommodate just the once, but even with accommodating gave attitude the entire time and reminded me that customers weren't allowed to make returns with it being scuffed, which is the exact opposite of what I was told by the employee. I used to be an ASM for a retail place as well, there's genuinely no need for that type of attitude and unprofessionalism, especially when I was the one misinformed. Granted they still made the return but needless to say I'll never come back to that location since the SM doesn't know how to treat people.

Drove around, HEB gas station, HEB car wash, found it with the pharmacy drive up. It is adjacent but a separate drive way. This location is an accident waiting to happen. You have narrow pick up parking, one way drive in, no signs, and you are competing with the pharmacy drive through as well as ppl trying to beat the traffic off Goliad and driving past behind you. THEN when I pulled into the spot, I waited, and was not sure if I was to go get my cart that was ready or wait for someone to come. WHY? Because there was never details on the pick up and I saw numerous different people coming and going that looked like regular pedestrians. I kept waiting and watching, finally saw some staff wearing blue uniform tops, others looked like they were off the street and the car they approached was their personal car, yet turned out to be staff afterall. Finally saw someone that looked like they had my items pushing a cart. BTW you cannot see their station and where they are coming from, suddenly they appear in the lot. Not safe for them either! Friendly and the order was correct but not a pleasant experience. Think they should move this to the opposite side of the store where it is quiet Don't say I didnt warn you.
