I normally do Walmart pick up, and it's always so amazing, but today I had to go in for a specific charger (didn't want to order the wrong one) and I was met with one of the RUDEST associates named Berta. Asked for some basic help and she acted as if I was an inconvenience. I stayed polite because everyone has their bad days, but she continued to be rude, and I ended up just walking out. Susana is a very rude cashier who I saw throw another customer's items into bags and then when it was our turn she made my mom bag her own items.... This is ridiculous because that is what she is getting paid for, and her actions demonstrates she is very lazy! She definitely needs to be retrained in customer service or find a new job!! Hundreds of Walmart employees walking throughout the store. Lines of people trying to get out of the three checkout stands available. It's even more annoying when there are managers sitting on the other side just watching you and chuckling It's fairly obvious that nobody here cares. This is a great excuse for people to go back to local establishments. Pay a little more but good good good customer service. Unlike better quality. I went there for some pharmaceuticals and they have the cabinet secured, I activated the call button over and over for about ten minutes, there were several of us waiting, finally a young man showed up and was so rude and uncaring about our needs, I don't know his name but he had long dark hair and a slender build. Let me start by saying that I love Walmart and I've been a weekly spender for the majority of my life. But today, unfortunately this Walmart earns the dreaded " Never shopping there EVER again!!" That store is lawless streets of San Francisco. They had one employee singing, so loud and obnoxiously at people I just walked away, figured it was an off day. The store itself is in shambles with multiple refrigerated sections out, and the juice swelling up from the process of making Pruno. There was one amazing Vato by the salad prep that was super cool but when we went to talk to the manager, everything just was like a Latina Karen. Just awful due to the frustration of the manager by having me try to share with broken areas The employees at the counter became rude. I've shopped with them for years. The scariest part about the store is that it doesn't want to keep my money safe. The credit card machine at the counter had obviously been tampered with and was ripped from the safe housing. Dangling by just a chord, with scratch marks on the face I ask about the safety of the equipment. The lady reply's with a blank abuela smug face ".....0 no say?" Like a question. I can deal with a rude employee, I can deal with a wakked out broken up store, but the one thing I cannot deal with is them not protecting my money. Then only one checkout line with an actual person that's is a million miles long and 10 scanner lanes, most empty. Then no bags. Zero. Then I had to carry my groceries to my car on 2 trips because ...... no carts available. I will NEVER support this store or this company again. Going to support the little guy. I went in to purchase an AMP for my husband and when we got home and he opened it there was no AMP to his surprise it was a bag of SAND in the box so when he tried to go back to the store which It literally took 10 minutes from the time we bought it to the time we got home and went back since we live across the street and he was trying to return it to get our money back the lady at customer service told him she was unable to process the return due to there not being a product in the box well of course cuz that is exactly how we got the box with NO PRODUCT IN IT! She then went on to call a "Supervisor " named GRACE and let me tell you she was very RUDE about the situation and NOT willing to help my husband saying THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT! Oh trust me I know there is something you can do about it. So I went in the next day of course after I called corporate to tell them about the situation and the said to go in store to ask for STORE MANAGER which his name is ERKHAN and I was waiting in line to do so and as GRACE walked by I asked her if I could speak to STORE MANAGER ERKHAN she stated he was in a zoom meeting went to the back and when she came back out she stated to me that ERKHAN WAS NOT THERE AS IT WAS HIS BDAY and she again told me there was nothing they could do looked at receipt asked me to wait and walked away took her about an hour to even come back to talk to me again BUT to my surprise ERKHAN had walked out to the main store right behind her literally 2 minutes after she walked away from me SO SHE LIED TO ME AND SAID HE WAS IN ZOOM MEETING THEN CAME BACK OUT AND SAID HE WAS NOT IN STORE BUT HE WALKED OUT BEHIND HER 2 minutes LATER! This store is a joke. The employees are rude, and have a sense of entitlement that they don't need to have as a cashier. Nothing is ever under the right price, they refuse to price match from their own website & nothing ever goes on sale like it should compared to the other Walmart less than 3 miles down the road. On sale was $16.95 now $16.40 get bent Walmart! Teach your employees to be humble and polite to customers and that their pay check will still be the same number if A customer buys the hidden clearance item for a $1 or not. Also, half your price scanners don't work, so when you see customers walking around scanning everything (with the WALMART APP) stop following us. This is based on a pick up order. I understand there's a pandemic but boy do managers suck at helping you out . Let's just say I waited an hour for her , I shopped for other items in the meantime and nothing. The one star is for the cashier who was very helpful and to some of the staff members who had to take probably one of the million complaint calls (1 (800) 924-9206). I was advised to call the store which the phone kept on ringing like crazy and after the millionth try someone picked up the phone and you can hear they picked up the headset and hung up the phone. .. I had placed order since Monday at 8 am I got an email they were working on my order at 7 pm (pick up time was between 7-8 pm) then another email came in between 7 Pm there was a delay. (Email never stated that pick up boxes were closed at 8 pm) I got an email that my Order was ready for pick up around 8:30 pm and drove to the store and was told that THAT service closed at 8 pm and to wait for a manager to assist me which they never did. If we are avoiding interactions with other and there's this service available THEN WHY even have it. I cancelled order because I didn't want to be in limbo with an unanswered help with corporate and store AND didn't want any of the perishable items that have been there over night to be sold to me. If a store can't keep with this demand just REMOVE IT it's not for you. Target May have less items available but their system works; get ideas from them WALMART!!!!! read more

First off if you ever decide to buy furniture from Walmart no matter if it's in store or online take heed of this warning. Avoid Walmart for furniture purchases. My mom had ordered a couch from Walmart online and was told it would be delivered this Thursday. The next day Mom recieved an email from Walmart that the couch would not be delivered because the order was mysteriously cancelled with no reason given. And Mom tried to contact Walmart for an answer why the couch order was cancelled and she hasn't gotten no response back from Walmart. I don't know how people order furniture such as beds bedroom sets dinette sets and any other furniture from Walmart and it ends up getting cancelled in the first place? But this was the worst treatment we had ever received from Walmart and my family has always been Walmart fans so we were shocked that this had to happen. I'm a Walmart shopper. It's my first choice, then Costco, then Safeway... I like this location a little better than Westridge because it's cleaner and the staff is helpful. The other Walmart staff could give a rat's ass about the customers. I like shopping here bc I can get meat, toilet paper and YARN. All in one store. It's great bc I hate shopping for groceries period so saves me some stops. The bathroom remodel is amazing! As I was walking in I noticed the subway tile and was like, 'Subway tile..? Whaaaa??' Walking completely in, the bathroom was really nice. The toilet stalls are now more private. Before, you used to see kids peaking at you between the stall spaces while trying to pee... Employees are always rude, hardly wanting to help customers . I even got into a screaming match with an employee who felt it was okay to yell at my child!! . Yes i was aware that my daughter shouldn't of tried to reach for an item in a shelf that was too high for her but the older employee had no business yelling at my child!. Even after i tried to calmly tell her that if their was a problem she should direct it to me and not the child, she tried to justify her yelling at a 3 year old!? . A few minutes after that altercation she even had the nerve to yell at her own manager who was asking her a question . The manager looked so defeated she ended up having to just walk away. I was in the "material" section of Wal-Mart the other day waiting at the counter... first Wal-Mart employee walks by, and i ask him if he could get someone to help me. He replies, "I'm not a material expert" and walks off! (In my head I'm thinking I'd like to wrestle this guy... he had a bowl cut hairdo with the front of it crossing his face, stiff from all the hair spray, some young kid), dis f'n guy! Second employee, Filipino old man comes to the counter with a flower vase, and I ask him if he could get me some help... he can't speak a lick of English and tells me to go to the "garden".... are you fu#$% kidding me right now (lol).... no, I don't need to go to the garden to cut material! Lol. Third Wal-Mart employee I ask if they can get me some help... they respond, "maybe they'll come back from their break!" At this point I'm talking to myself.... these lazy people, that's what you get when you come to Wal-Mart....I help myself and measure my own damn material....lol. I take the whole bulk to the cashier... I get to the cashier and ask to speak to a "manager"... an employee comes to me and says "yes, can I help you?", I ask, "are you a manager?", she says "no"...... I say, can you please get me a manager who's in charge please! A manager walks up to me with a clip board in her hand, hand on her hip (bad body language..lol) and has a smirk on her face and says, "Yea, can I help you?"... reminding myself that I'm at Wal-Mart.... In my professional tone I explain the 3 customer service experience I just encountered... her body language changes, she becomes apologetic and tells me she'll be right back, that she will go get the help!.... moments later, a second manager comes to me, he is apologetic ...i explain to him, "I know this is Wal-Mart, but there's no excuse for poor customer service!".... The goodness in all this.... the first manager came back to me with the bulk of material and said...."I'm sorry you were ignored 3 times, you do not have to pay for this material!".....i said thank you very much. This Walmart has one big problem. The checkout service in the evenings around 8:00PM till closing hours. You either have the senior citizens working the cash registers or some gothic looking man or a woman. Point is, cashiers are always slow and the lines get backed up fast. Whoever manages this store in the evening is bad at it. You either place more experience cashiers or have more cashiers upfront. I work as a Assistant Manager in a retail store in San Jose & from my retail experience, you have poorly trained cashiers. Also, a year ago I found a needle in your toilet and I have seen gang sign " XIV " carved on the toilet seat. Walmart is all about family friendly environment. On February 1, 2018, I came by this store. I saw an older Hispanic woman selling tamales in the parking lot. She has a van & she always sells them in the evenings. I've seen her, four or five times now. She doesn't even have food license to be selling food products. read more

I am so dissatisfied with the amount of checkers on the check stands! We have completely stop buying as many products and especially NO spirts! You cannot self check out any spirts and the checkout out lines are outrageous long, so we stopped buying any! I bought some items last week and went to the cash register to check out. That's where the horrible experience started. First off the lady was staring at me and not saying anything, so I offered a "hello! How are you doing tonight?" *she just kept staring* so I repeated myself in case she didn't hear me. Nothing. Not a hello, hi or even a hola. She wasn't deaf, just a zombie apparently. So whatever, I check out and she hands me my items and I walk out. I get to Morgan hill where my gf lives and realize I didn't get a few items that I purchased. No big deal, I'll call the store and tell them what happened and they'll hold them for me. When I called the stores main number a lady answers the phone with "what?" No hi or thanks for calling Walmart or even a "Walmart" so I know I called the right place. But whatever, then I say hey so I left a few items at the cash register and need to come back and get them. She replies with "excusssse me?" So I repeat myself, and she slams down the phone. Um ok. So I call back, and she answers again and I say "manager" and I get put on hold for 22 minutes with no answer or anything, so I call back and same lady answers and I say "ingles?" And she says "no no no." So I gave up and decided to go in there when I was back in town. The only reason I didn't flip my lid when I went in there was because I received decent service from an English speaking customer service lady when I explained my situation. She made it right and I was content. What I'm NOT HAPPY About is their choice of people working the front of the store and answering their phones. You would assume that they would like people to be friendly and speak English!!!! I understand we are in Salinas, but Jesus Christ! I will try to avoid this store like the plague and I will also email corporate to let them know. read more
