This location is okay. They don't always hav the same items that they have at some of the other ones. It's always clean tho and plenty of parking. The entrance through the nursery side is usually closed tho

It's not bad. They stepped up security and have masks and plenty of hand sanitizer. Granted, there are more ghetto customers than there used to be when they first opened but that's just the nature of most places in Houston. Prices are reasonable for everything inside as the standard Walmart way. The parking lot is kept cleaner than other Walmart's. Once in a while if you catch their promotions there's free family drive in events with free snacks and stuff. The only thing sucks about this place is they're always out of the popular games and electronics. The other thing is they're no longer 24-hours anymore they close at 10 pm now a days.

This is where the shampoo leaked in the shipping box.

So how do you say, "What a horrible experience!" in different languages? Fort Bend County is wonderfully, diverse and I want everyone (regardless of the dialect they speak) to know you must steer clear of this location, if your mental health matters. After spending over a thousand dollars (yes, you read that right - $1,000 +) on Walmart.com buying fun and necessary gifts for a baby shower, one item was delivered severely damaged. Not a big deal, right? Stuff like this happens. The process to fix this should be simple, right? Well, NOT at Store number 3827 located at 5660 West Grand Parkway South in Richmond. What should have been a pleasant, quick experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I cheerfully entered the store around 10:00 a.m. and headed to customer service. There was only one person ahead of me, so I thought "Jackpot, I'll be in and out in a flash". After a couple of minutes it was my turn to go to the register. Not sure if the cashier was high, drunk or a zombie but her eyes were barely opened and she spoke in a baby whisper. Determined to be unbothered, I looked passed that and explained an item was shipped damaged and I'd like to exchange it. The cashier's name was not visible, so we can call her "Droopy". "Droopy" asked for the order number. I told her I didn't have it because the shipping receipt was ruined when the contents of the package wasted in the box. "Droopy" told me without the order number there's nothing she can do. We played the staring game for at least a minute, when I said is there any other way you can find the order. "Droopy" said, "Yes". We played the staring game for another 30 seconds, and I said, "Oookay, well how?". "Droppy" said she could locate the order number using a phone number. I thought 'great, now we are getting somewhere'. I gave "Droopy" two numbers that should be associated with the order. "Droopy" said, "Neither number had a match". "Droppy" stared at me again and I thought 'oh no, I am unwillingly about to enter the third round of the staring game'. So before "Droppy" could lock in her gaze I said, "Please let me speak to a manager". "Droopy" poked around then finally she realized the device she needed to call a manager was on her. At this point, I'm literally shaking my head. Eventually, an African American male approached. explained the matter and asked him what ways can an order number be located. He responded, "by email or phone number". I said, "Okay, great. Let me give you my email". In the interest of time, let me just list everything that went wrong with this so- called manager from this point on: 1. He spelled "sbcglobal" as "sbcglobel" so we wasted 5 minutes while he kept incorrectly entering the wrong email address. Until I finally said can I see what you are entering and I spelled it correctly. 2. He told me it is not his fault the box was shipped damaged. I told him true but as a representative of Walmart it is his responsibility to correct the mistake. 3. He told me if I don't like my shopping experience at Walmart, I can try Target. 4. His name was not visible on his name tag, which is not policy. So when i asked him what is his name because I was going to contact corporate. He responded, "be my guest". He said his name is Greg and told me to make sure I get it right because his name ends with two "G's" not one. 5. "Gregg" told me he could not do an exchange because the particular item was from a third party vendor. "Gregg" said I have to visit another location to make the exchange. "Gregg" said he emailed a label for use. I told "Gregg" I am already out and don't want to have to go home to print a label and asked could he print it for me. "Gregg" told me he does not work for me. So as you may have guessed, "Gregg" was rude, arrogant, condescending and extremely unprofessional. If he is in fact a manager, he clearly doesn't know how to manage. Forget about sensitivity training, there is no place for people like "Gregg" in a usually warm establishment like Walmart. Customer service is key! Without the "customer" there would be nothing (and no one) to "service". Which means no job for "Gregg". Somewhere along the way, "Gregg" didn't learn the success of any business is a causal relationship reflective of how well they treat their costumer.

They never answer the phones, it's very difficult when trying to check inventory on an item for a disabled family member without having to drive all around. I do not appreciate this aspect of this store, on the plus side the store is safe and located near many other stores! Ulta, five below and more!

Don't bother calling the store, they never answer in any of their departments in any time of the day.

Cleaner than the average Walmart, great garden selection in the spring, has a good craft and fabric selection if you're into that.
