My right leg became stiff. I could not get up. I requested a store employee handling an upright freezer to ask the manager to call 911. The Emergency crew helped me and walked up to my car. One would think that the manager would extend the decency to pick up the basket and carry it. Hell no!!! - She just let it sit on the floor. Just because it is an Asian Ethnic food store, the staff should not consider safety issues lightly, because asians are more polite and tolerant and tend to patronize ethnic "Food Stores". Why is the store not following the same safety standards as Kroger or HEB. Is your store exempt from providing motor carts? The store has large Pallets placed between Passageways, making it difficult to move carts around. I will visit the concerned Authorities in Houston, apprise them of Public Safety in the store, and investigate non-compliance of City of Houston and Texas State Ordinances. This sort of accident happened twice only in this store. Both times floor was slippery due to liquid.

Instead of providing a quick price, the person on the phone rudely told me that everyone calling for prices should come to the store because they were "very busy." I understand that businesses can be busy, but it would have taken less than a minute to provide the price. Asking a customer to drive 35 minutes to the store just to find out the price is unreasonable and could easily have been handled over the phone. I was prepared to place an order, but the way my call was handled made me reconsider doing business here. Customer service matters. I would rather drive an hour than to go to this place!

The meat is always fresh and the meat section is clean and odorless. The grocery section has pretty much everything you could ask for.
