Had to take my mom to Quest Diagnostics which is in Walmart in the Richmond store. That appointment went great! So, we decide to do her shopping while we were there. I'm very disappointed with employees there. Not once but twice I ask for assistance in locating a tv antenna, and yes I was in electronics at the time when I ask. The lady there pointed across the isles and said if we have any there would probably be over there somewhere. So, we went through all the isles in electronics and found nothing, no antennas at all!!! I took out my phone and used the Walmart app to see what the app said. It stated they had all kinds of antennas in stock Isle K3 So, we headed toward the front of the store and ask yet another employee for assistance. And I told her what I had located on the app vs. what we saw in person. She never left her position and stated to me "well if you didn't find them then we don't have them." Huh, no effort on her part to bother to check. Thanks Walmart, this is why people would rather shop online these days. Customer Service no longer exist in person! I won't be returning shop here again!!! read more

Most Walmarts appear to be the same regardless of where they are. The only difference I've noticed is cleanliness, the size of the store and attitude of the employees. This location is rather large and crazy busy almost anytime day or night. It is much cleaner after reorganizing the grocery department. This Walmart has a large parking lot but they could use many more handicap parking spaces. Not only parking spaces but the electric buggy's are always an issue. Either their not inside the front of the store, still scattered throughout the parking lot or the batteries are dead if we get excited there's one in the store. We're all over this store when I shop with my Mother. From the Pharmacy, home repair, auto products, home goods, clothing to groceries. After they rearranged the grocery area things were confusing for Mom but we're fairly familiar with the location of her staples now. The employees don't make an effort to ask if we need help. However, if we ask for help their very friendly and helpful. The Pharmacy is very helpful and patient with my Mother. They answer questions concerning her medicine and help her locate products in the Pharmacy department. We used the Pickup App service today for the first time. We ordered groceries online yesterday late in the day then selected a pickup time for today. I waited for a confirmation email that groceries were ready and I hit check in when I was on my way. Drove up, called number directly ahead of me, she immediately came out pulling my groceries. A few minutes later all was loaded, I signed and was on my way! Wow! I might never go into the store again. The order was perfect, great quality meats, fruits and vegg's, correct pantry sizes and products ordered. How easy is this? My new favorite thing! Walmart is within a close proximity of my Mother's home so I'm sure we'll be back often. Especially for Pick Up services. We can't wait until they provide delivery service to the home. Mother can't carry the groceries in the house so this would eliminate one additional hurdle we currently have. read more

The Service Center at this Walmart is so beyond the most unbelievably irresponsible place that I have ever encountered in my lifetime. My husband had a massive heart attack and was unable to change the oil on my car, as he usually does. But knowing that we were going on a trip and in taking care of my vehicle, he took my car to our local Walmart Service Center #546 in Richmond Tx for a quick oil change. How hard could this be? Well, apparently never assume...right? The Svc. person changing the oil, somehow overfilled my car in an excess of more than 2 quarts. Which my husband discovered only when leaving the parking lot and excessive amounts of black smoke poured out of my exhaust. He immediately turned around, went back to the Walmart Svc Center to report the issue. The Svc Tech admitted to the overfill, drained the oil and replaced, with a lower grade of oil, documented our Service Receipt of the overfill for reference to keep in the Managers file. As I said, we were leaving on a trip so time was of the essence. The check engine light immediately began to come on, but we were traveling and we knew that the engine light and the overfill issue were most certainly related and hopefully would burn whatever residue remained off. The Check Engine light remained on for a month, so we went back to speak to a Service Manager at Walmart #546 for help. We were rudely addressed, after several minutes, by Service Manager Janine. She obviously had no intention of honoring Walmarts Customer Service code. She never ask for input or offered any small amount of concern. She began by standing sternly in front of my husband and I both and called him a lier while accusing him of putting additive in the car after leaving Walmart. We ask that she review the cameras to see that the time span from leaving Walmart until returning made that process impossible! She denied any wrongdoing even though we had a signed document proving the overfill incident. She finally agreed to having "her guy" at Bercher Tire do a Vehicle Diagnosis Scan. We drove immediately over to Bercher and the scan threw a code on Catalyst System efficiency. We did not want to ever encounter Manager Janine and her false accusations again, so we scheduled an appointment with our Dealership for maintenance and repair to find out that my car had what you call Oil Contamination. The Catalytic Converter along with 2 O2 Sensors had to be replaced due to oil getting into the exhaust system. This repair cost us thousands of dollars primarily because of negligence on the part of Walmart Services Center. I contacted the GM with Walmart #546 to make a report and ask for the cameras to be reviewed. I then contacted Walmart Claims to file a formal complaint and spoke to a Megan Ferguson. Ms Ferguson was attentive and helpful and agreed to take care of our incident. Okay imagine after 2 attempts and 2 weeks waiting to get an answer from Ms. Ferguson I was informed that she had not received the documents that I had emailed her on the first day that she and I spoke. Resend! Again, no answer, until I sent her another email pleading for assistance. She called me back, this time with a much different attitude, to tell me that we did not have sufficient proof. She then indicated that the problem with my car was because of a recall issue and suggested that I contact my dealership. I printed the suggested recall document that Ms. Ferguson sent me, took it to my Dealership, just to be told that the issue suggested had nothing to do with emissions but with oil consumption. The amount of incompetence throughout this process with Walmart has not only been lengthy but exhausting. No matter how many times or who I ask about the evidence on camera from the initial incident, I am talked over or rudely dismissed. My husband and I are elderly persons with limited income who try to take care of our responsibilities and our assets. To be treated this way is incomprehensible and to know that an organization such as Walmart operates this way is formidable! read more

I ordered a rollaway bed from Walmart and never received it. I connected through a chat window to address my situation. Their driver said it was delivered, but could not show which addressed it was delivered to. Walmart's solution was for me to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Then immediately left the chat. I have ordered hundreds of dollars from Walmart's delivery service and have never had an issue. This item was under $100 and they asked me to dispute the charge. I went to purchase some AirPods as a Christmas gift. The nice woman Judy let me know I had to wait for her supervisor to come bring the AirPods. I waited for 15 min for her supervisor Cindy to bring the AirPods. When she finally arrived instead of coming to bring Judy to AirPods she stops and begins to help another customer with a tv. I walked over to Cindy and let her know I had been waiting for her to bring the airpods and if I could please purchase them. She told me "no I have to hand them to Judy" I said "Judy is right there please give them to her so I can please leave, the frozen food in my basket is melting. I've been waiting for so long" she told me to continue to wait. I continued to wait for her to finally come behind the register and give them to Judy. Instead of allowing Judy to check me out, she stops from checking me out to tell her about a rude customer and how much she hates working there because of how rude the customers can be" I understand customer service is hard but it was clear to them that I had groceries to purchase and they went out of their way to ensure I was just as miserable as they were. How can you make someone like Cindy a supervisor when she clearly doesn't care to work in customer service. read more

Asked employees as they walked by said they did not have the ability to call for help so I should go to service desk. They made an announcement, no one came. Saw a dozen employees walk by it appeared that they were having a staff baby shower. Finally found a group of managers standing around and got one to come, she did not have the correct key. If I could go zero I would. This is easily the worst Walmart for me. The one in Wharton is much more favorable. Multiple times I've had the Richmond location screw up my curbside pickup orders. I arrived at the tire and lube center at 4:30 p.m. with only one car ahead of me. At 6:05 p.m. they still had not touched my truck. Who knows when I will leave here. Customer service is terrible. I would rather pay $100 somewhere else then come back here. The person in front of me was here for 2hrs before they decided to tell her that they couldn't change her oil. Worst Walmart to date I've been to. Says close at 11. I arrived at 10:45, only needing to grab baby formula(you're right, I should've planned better, I got it) tell me why as I'm walking up at 10:45, a man cracks the door and says "closed, can't let no one in" as I state I just need baby formula, he says "sorry" and shuts it. The lines inside the store are always long, so one day I decided to use the Pickup today. I haven't stopped using it since. It is convenient. Most of the time I'm there for 5 mins or less and they give you the option to make substitutions if they don't have the specific product you asked for. The Manger Sonia is very sweet and I love that she takes care of her customers. While I waited she hand delivered me a goodie bag which is above and beyond great customer service. Jayden quickly and carefully delivers the groceries into your car! read more

Definitely do not recommend buying any fish from them!!! They do not keep the tanks clean and don't give you any care instructions either. They put them all in the same bag when they aren't even original tank buddies.. Bought two fish from them and they didn't even make it 24 hours.... I LOVE this place! I order my groceries online, and sign up for a time, and they bring the groceries to my car and put them in. They have rarely left anything off my order, and if they do, I either call them or tell them about it next time I go, and they either give me credit or give me the product. It's great especially when I have my grandson. I do not have to drag him out of the car and into the store. read more

DO NOT BUY PET PRESCRIPTIONS HERE!!!! Walmart charged me $152 for a prescription of Doxycycline. My vet charged $44. Unfortunately I didn't find this out until after I purchased the medication. Just be sure to check with your vet before buying medication from Walmart. read more
