I was given a warm welcome and greeting when I walked in! "Let me know if I can help you find anything!" In the front of the store there was a display of Covid prevention products for sale. I picked up some hand sanitizer and a few other things there! Did I mention the gift shop? A whole corner is dedicated to Yankee Candles... I bought two jars and a car freshener too! They have some different fragrances, lots of summer scents! Other sections of the store have shelves of sports and team gear, garden, flags and housewares, jewelry, seasonal items as well as candy and toys. A great spot for unique gifts. The pharmacist came and helped me find a few other things I was looking for and was so cordial. No, there's not as much variety as those chain pharmacies, but the customer service and Mayberry feel is worth the experience!

My husband had a one-time prescription filled at this Walgreens pharmacy a few weeks ago for a medication to prevent altitude sickness for an upcoming hiking trip to Nepal. It was a one-time prescription with no refills. Our Walgreens on-line account is also set to "no automatic refills." However, we have been receiving a large volume of irritating emails and texts from Walgreens asking us to pick up a refill for this prescription. Using the online "cancel" feature was not successful, so we dropped into the pharmacy to ask the pharmacist to correct this. It appears to be corrected now although there was no explanation for how this happened and how to prevent it in the future. We also picked up a toothpaste, which was on sale. The check-out clerk was friendly enough, but I was disappointed that she didn't ask whether we wanted to use our Walgreen Rewards Points, as I had forgotten to mention this.

I'm not even from here, but this is hands down one of the best Walgreens I've been to in my life. The pharmacist was amazing over the phone in person. She rolled her eyes & acted like I was a huge bother to her. When I got home & read the insert, it comes in a granule format. It is her job to give me that information when I ask. I made a complaint to the general manager, Dave Cousins. He was not helpful at all. Of course he kind of apologized but it seems there is no repercussions for not doing your job or for being rude to customers. I guess Westbury did not learn from past mistakes. I will not be back anytime soon. I've changed pharmacies & am Very happy with their excellent customer service.

On certain days they even have the Ms. Yoder's donut truck in the parking lot. On this day I happened to have my daughter with me and the cashier was so nice and gave her a balloon which worked wonders to keep her occupied while I browsed. Although I only got what I went in there for (shocking, honestly), I enjoyed my time and wouldn't hesitate to go back. I was really happy to see that the prices were great and not as high as I expected for a niche pharmacy.

Then the pharmacist did literally nothing to help and saw that there was one picture of one pack of birth control then a separate picture of 2 which obviously she took after realizing she messed up. I'm…read moreusually going in to drop off UPS packages which is one of their selling points--sign outside says Ship UPS here. One thing I do not like is that they do not provide any receipt for dropping off packages. They tell me to take a photo of the shipping label. I already have the shipping label at home when I printed it but it does me no good to have a shipping number if for some reason the package never makes it to UPS where it is first scanned. It is not scanned at the store. The Dollar Store down the street is a drop off point for Fed Ex. There, they immediately scan the package and you get an alert on your cell phone that the package has been accepted. Much better security to the customer in my opinion. Wish the UPS drop off experience was better.

This large CVS is rather oddly laid out.
